Lightroom :: No Sound At Videos In 4.1 X64 Win7?
Jul 30, 2012i'm using lightroom 4.1 x64 under control of windows 7 64 bit. all my videos (.mov) imported to lightroom have no sound when playing them in ligfhtroom 4.1. outside lightroom these videos do have sound very well. what can be done to enable lightroom 4.1 to play theses videos with proper sound?

Sep 26, 2012I have a series of movies which I intended to individually import into PhotoShop CS6 Extended, add end credits, and then export WITHOUT SOUND. For the life of me, I can't see any way to remove the audio from the movies! I'm sure this feature was easily available in the PS CS6 beta version.

The videos play fine in VLC 2.0.1, windows media player, GSpot 2.70a (in thumbnail window). An ancient Nero showtime even sort of plays the video (choppy and partially mangled), but the audio is fine. VLC and WMP play smoothly at full screen, 2560x1600.
In PS, there is no audio. Both microphone icons have sound waves emanating and I have tried all 4 combinations of mute and play.
I can edit and save them to h.264, high quality, 1920x1080, 59.94 fps, progressive *.mp4 file. The video plays on the other players, but again there is no sound.
GSpot shows LAV splitter -> ffdshow addio decoder -> ac3filter -> default directSound device (see details below)
When playing in PS, the video is choppy. It will play for ~1/2 second and then stutter. Searching for a suitable group with key words (photoshop cs6 avchd video no sound)yields 505 groups. Looks like any group to have ever had cs6 in a thread.
It can't be a codec problem if every other video product I have plays the files. It is certainly not a hardware limitation. It looks like a PS bug.

Jan 20, 2014I have some R3D files here from my Red Scarlet and Epic. I used the A Box from wooden camera and a microfone with xlr to record sound direct on footage. In Redcine X and Premiere i got the waveform and the sound, but in After Effects i got only a dead spine. No visible waveform. I can activate sound button on and of, also can change the DB, but nothing happend. I also got no sound with Ram preview or rendering. If i put the footage in a Premiere project and import this Pr Projekt to after effects, than i got the waveform. But that is not the way i want to use my footage. Now i lost al the RAW abilitys from my R3D files and some other specials. Why i got no sound/waveform? I have the latest CC version of AE.

May 23, 2012Video-Studio X5.. Using: -> Auto Music Icon above timeline: -> Scope = Sound Effects - Filter = Any -> No Sound Effects Listed.
I do have Music, Beats & complete access to the remaining smart sound features, cant find any sound effects though. Question ? Do any effects come with Smart Sound for VS-X5. I searched Smart Sound and found there website, and I'm not positive but it looks as though they are charging 29.00 for each sound Effect

Feb 12, 2014I have a problem with After Effects being unable to process image files in the correct order when making time-lapse videos.AE seems unable to identify the correct chronological order from the camera generated file names and the files need to be re-numbered with a number prefix.
However sometimes even after re-numbering AE still cannot order the files correctly and will generate a video with either individual or blocks of frames out of order.
I have another app (Video Velocity) that can also suffer exactly the same problem and which will often process a video with the exact same individual or blocks of frames out of order as AE.
However VV has options to order the files in various ways including ‘sort by file create date’ in which case the time-lapse video will be processed correctly. AE doesn’t seem to have this option? Or does it?
VideoStudio :: Sound On Clip But No Sound On Project?
Oct 26, 2010Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.

Nov 28, 2006I'm trying to take images that are about 300x300px and convert to 100x100px. When I change image size in PS and constrain proportions, the result is a jagged-looking image.
The resolution is set to 72 px/inch and the Resample Image box is set to Bicubic.
Am I always gonna have jaggies in this scenario and what can I do to make it look smoother? Also, does it make a difference if it's gif vs. jpg?

Oct 18, 2012I have AutoCAD 2013 (Full) and Adobe Acrobat X Pro v10.1.4 installed. I usually select ‘Adobe PDF’ as my printer instead of the standard ‘DWG To PDF.pc3’ which comes with AutoCAD and everything works fine. However on some particular drawings I have, when I print using the ‘Adobe PDF’ nothing comes out, it’s just a blank PDF. If I select the standard ‘DWG To PDF.pc3’ printer, it prints fine.
These particular drawings do have one missing Plot Style so maybe that has something to do with it? If so how do I remove that Plot Style completely so it’s not required anymore?
