3ds Max :: Send To Mudbox Results To Crazy Geometry

When I use the Send to Mudbox, it outputs via the FBX into Mudbox and when I raise the subdivision level, my polys go crazy. The model in Max is an Editable Mesh that has been xFormed. Earlier in my process, I output as an obj and that was fine. I sculpted for a while in Mudbox (up to subD level 4), and when I wanted to adjust some geometry in Max, I output a subDivisional lvl 1 model. Cut in some new edges and used the Update scene file in the Send to Max tol, resulting in the attached picture. I could export it as an obj, but I would lose the sculpting I've already done.

3ds Max :: Send To Mudbpx 2012 Results In Scaled Down Mesh

I'm trying to send over a model that I'm working on to Mudbox 2012 and it sends over a mesh that is scaled way down. The original mesh in Max is not small to begin with at all. Zooming in and out is a problem as well as the standard brush size is too small to work with. Is there a setting that can be adjusted to keep the scale of the mesh close to 1:1 when sending meshes from program to program?

3ds Max :: Send To Mudbox / Wrong Object Location?

I have a character in Max. The eyes are separate geometry as usual. When I "Send to Mudbox" everything works out fine. No error messages. But the eyes are being placed by the knees and close together. Though I can move them into position, I'd like to know what's cause this problem? The character itself is fine.

The eyes ARE quads with correct Unwrapping. Again, no warning displaying.

have a little probelem with the send to Mudbox option. It producecs a Mesh with triangles while transfer. When i then update it back, it updates the same triangle mesh back to Max. Don't have the Problem with send to XSI or Motionbulder.

Photoshop :: CS6 Extended - Crashing Like Crazy

Mac Pro; Mac OS 10.7.3; 16GB ram; ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB..Just installed CS6 Extended a couple of days ago, after deinstalling the beta and verifying permissions.
 
I seem to be crashing a lot - I'd say half a dozen times over the past day or so. I make a path (e.g. a simple rectangle), 3D layer from that path, then start to work with extrusion and revolving the extrusion. All of a sudden, the object will disappear from view, though its representation still appears on the layer thumbnail. I'll click different layers, trying to get the object back, then the program crashes. I've sent all the reports to Adobe.
 
The beta rarely crashed on me at all; but this release seems very unstable. I'm not able to get anything done in the 3D module without eventually crashing per the above.

I've dealt with this issue forever and I still don't know WHY it happens. The problem is that when you create two images of different formats (jpg, gif, png) in photoshop with the same color and then put them next to each other in a browser, the colors no longer match.

Premiere Pro :: Crazy Green Square Artifacts Showing On Render?

it included some bad language, but that can be censored. It's nice to know Adobe only cares about their image rather than solving their users' issues with the software that they bought. No wonder people are switching sides to Avid or Apple. But that's hardly suprising in this marketing world.
 
Ok so basically I've been working on a project similar to all the other projects in the last months. Nothing fancy: a simple green screen keying, some added titles and a bit of Colour Correcting and audio EQ.
 
Everything looks fine in the project: both reference and monitor ouputs looks pefectly fine. Until the actual render is reviewed and then the **** hits the fan! I've added screenshots below. Using latest version of Premiere on OSX, only using native plugins and exporting as H.264 MP4 optimised for Vimeo streaming.

Photoshop :: Merge To HDR Results In CS6

I'm geting really ugly "Merge to HDR" results in Photoshop CS6 that were not present in CS5.5. It only happens when using the "Remove Ghosts" checkbox
 
I use a Panasonic Lumix G2
Photoshop CS6
Lightrom 4
Camera Raw 7
 
I'm trying to merge RAW images to HDR. I use Adobe Lightroom 4.
 
1) I right click on multiple RAW exposure images
2) Edit In > Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop
3) After aligning and merging, I use the "remove ghosts"option, but it creates really ugly blown-out areas on my preview image. The result is just as bad after clicking "OK" and the "creating file" box is done. I can see another thread discussing this in the Photoshop CS6 Beta (read only) area. The guy was using a Panasonic Lumix GH2,(mine's a G2) so maybe it's an isue with RAW support for Panasonic's Raw format.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: SSA Results Not Looking Right

I performed an analysis on a system, but when I play the video some of the pipe segments the water line jumps back and forth angling in different directions.  Some of the pipes get full and then the water line just drops down to the bottom.  I also cannot get the pipes to drain at the end, I tried running the analysis for a long time span and it just sits at the point that it wants.

I need my Photomerge CS 6 for stitching many Panels. Normaly it works not Problems with the Performance (32 GB Ram, powerful Mac Pro).

Today I have the Problem that the Software match the Pictueres, but does not Show the results, you see only a black Window with no Pictures at all, only the normal Window from the PS when you start teh software.

In renamde all Files I can found in the Libary, but I can´t found the the ecpellillay PS Temp Datei.

Photoshop :: Merge To HDR Results In 72 Dpi Image

I've recently discovered that when using the Merge to HDR function the resulting image is 72 dpi as opposed to the 240dpi of the original files used to create the 32 bit image. I've tried using both psd and RAW files with the same result. Others have confirmed this does not happen on the Mac version of CS3. I am using CS2 but others in a class I am taking have experienced similar problems with CS3 running on Windows. I'm running XP Pro which has been kept up to date. CS2 also has all updates installed.

Apparently, PS is also resizing the image to a relatively huge document size in the process of converting my bracketed images to HDR while retaining the correct pixel dimensions. The work around is to uncheck the "Resample Image" box within the "Image Size" dialog window after conversion so as to restore a 240 dpi resolution but this adds yet another step to the workflow.

I recently built a new computer. In getting all my old favorite programs reinstalled I have found that when I am trying to export using the PNG format with alpha well the alpha is quite strange. If I view it in Irfanview it gives this weird effect like there is a background in certain areas, more directly in back of the main image.

Maybe it's Irfanview but no I just checked it out in XNView as well and the same thing.

what's causing this strange exprort bug?? Is there an specific update I need.

The image in jpg is a direct save to that format in Irfanview so you can see what I'm talking about.

When using CS4 Extendeds new 3D painting functionality I'm noticing, on multiple machines and setups the same problem.  I wanted to share the issue to see if there is a fix or if others are aware of it, and also to see if the rest of the community is also having this issue. Basically, take any model into Photoshop's new 3D view, and paint a few brush strokes onto the model and then go inspect the resulting 2D map, very close up, and notice that there are un-acceptable artifacts all throughout the brush-stroke when zoomed in very close.  This is not always a problem depending on the work your doing, but in many cases these artifacts produce maps that are un-usable, specifically when generating bump maps.  The effort needed to clean the maps up would be better spent fixing the problem or using other software. I'll post some pictures of the issue so you can see what I'm talking about. If you have a solution, that would be wonderful, otherwise, simply trying this out yourself to see if you get the same results and posting here would be great.  The artifacts themselves seem to appear anytime paint travels over the edge of one polygon onto another, even when these pologyons share ajacent and connected UV space. Please note that you must inspect this above image up close and zoomed in to really see the issue, and notice that all of the artifacts line up consistantly with where the polygons andor the UV's are layed out, it's one or the other but I can't tell which.

Photoshop :: Different Results Of Color Space

I am converting a raw image.

1. First in ProPhoto, passing it to PS CS3, accepting ProPhoto (against the working color space), and then I convert it in sRGB in Edit.

2. Next, converting it in ProPhoto, but when CS3 receives it, I ask for immediate conversion in sRGB, the working space.

3. Third, I change the color sapace in ACR to sRGB and pass the image to CS3.

Of course, the ACR adjustment parameters are identical in the three processes.

1 and 3 are almost identical (a difference layer does show differences, but I don't see them on the results without huge boosting, and that shows quite random, noise-like difference).

However, 1 and 2 are *vastly* different. The difference, boosted by 2 EV clearly shows the original texture, which is determined by a pecularity in the blue channel.

What is the explanation for the difference between the two conversion from ProPhoto to sRGB?

The conversion engine is Adobe (the conversion immediately at receiving the image does not ask me for the engine).

I'm developing a program which runs several simulations and obtains the results automatically.

I'm using the dynamic simulation API created in Inventor 2013. For that I use the GetResultValues(ByRef values() as Double) method of the class DSResult. 

I used the method inside the VBA of inventor and worked well. But when I wrote the program in Visual Basic Express 2010, the method doesn't return anything.

AutoCad :: PUBLISH To PDF Produces No Results

I've got an issue which is preventing me from being able to PUBLISH multiple DWGs to PDF.

I can successfully PUBLISH multiple DWGs to hard copy with no problem - and it is very easy.

However i seem to be missing something when trying to PUBLISH to PDF.

Ive tried creating a 'Page Setup' which nominates a PDF writer (Adobe PDF or PDFCreator) and the printing device, and that will only work for 1 of the specified DWGs. I have also tried specifying 'PDF' in the "Publish to:" pulldown in the PUBLISH dialogue box - which returns no result. The PUBLISH dialogue box closes and nothing else happens.

Lightroom :: Send DNG To From 4 To PS6 As TIFF?

When I use Topaz plug-ins in LR4, the image comes back with only 10% of  the pixels remaining. It has been suggested by Topaz support to transfer images to PS6 from LR4 without LR4 adjustments and see if it still happens. Unfortunately my DNG files cannot be sent to PS6 without adjustments. Is it possible to convert DNG files to TIFF so the option becomes available to send it to PS6 without adjustments?

Photoshop CC cannot produce 2 equal batch results ! its skips images at random and even worse skips parts of the batch commands! This makes PSD CC absolute useless in a professional environment, and that Adobe have not fixed this huge bug in the last 5 updates they have done in less than a month is an outrage.
