Photoshop :: Results Change Once Uploaded To The Net

Feb 8, 2007

I'm done creating something on Photoshop CS2, I save a copy of the image as a jpg, then upload it onto the net. I've been doing it for years... Just recently I got a laptop and put photoshop onto it, and every single picture I upload onto the internet seems to be enlarged in size, and instead of a sharp crisp picture I see in my photoshop, it's all grainy, blurry,

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 :: Export Results In Change In Image Size?

Nov 26, 2012

I am creating my files in 5x. The final product will be a printed 8.5 x 11 calendar. The company requires 300dpi resolution, and a bleed size of 1/16".

Product 8.5" x 11" Calendar

Final Size 8.5" x 11"

Bleed Size 1/16"

Resolution to Submit 8.627" x 11.127", 2588 x 3338 px, 300dpi

My page is letter size. The image is a bitmap composed of numerous photographs and vector graphics.

I have saved them to a CMYK BITMAP 300DPI.In Corel the image reads as 11.125" x 8.625"

When I export to a pdf or jpg the image size changes to 11.293" x 8.796" which will not work for the printer. It sets the design elements outside the 'safe zone'.

Photoshop :: Images When Uploaded To Web Colors Shift?

Apr 27, 2012

I have been having a problem lately with my images displaying funky when they are uploaded to the web. The images become over saturated. The color space is sRGB so I am not sure what is going on. I never have had this problem till this year. I use lightroom, then export the image and finish editing the image in photoshop. When I export from Lightroom I pick srgb color space.

Photoshop :: Made Images Suddenly Look Very Bad Once Uploaded?

May 19, 2013

I have a blog and everything for it (header, banners, etc.) is made in Photoshop and up until yesterday it was all fine. But yesterday I wanted to try to put a scanned picture for my header - which on my computer looks white, but on the web it looked gray, so I decided to go back to what I had.

When I uploaded my old header it now looked blue/gray-ish, very pixelated and really strange. When I tilted my screen (laptop computer) I could see some weird edges around the shapes that I had on that header. I ulso tried uploading to Picasa web albums but the same thing happens.

I tried also making another image in Photoshop to test it out - it was white with big spots in green colour and when uploaded I could see the edges of the entire image even though it was white (it didn't blend with the rest of the background like it used to), and when I tilted my screen I saw pink edges around those big dots and it looked all fuzzy almost like it's moving (like on those very old TV's when you lose an image and it's snowy looking).

Photoshop :: Why Do Photos Look Faded When Uploaded To Websites

My photos look great in CS6 but once I save them and upload them to a website like Facebook, Shutterfly, my personal website or anywhere really, they end up looking washed out and faded.  What do I need to change?

RGB is set to: Adobe RGB (1998) CMYK, Gray & Spot are all in their default settings.

Photoshop :: Pictures Losing Quality When Uploaded

Jul 13, 2009

I'm having some trouble when uploading photos to my company's website, they look fine when editing and then when they are saved to my computer. However, after uploading to our website it looks like they lose resolution quality in areas where colors are changing.

The first image here is the image from my computer, the second is from the website after being uploaded. In the areas between the red jersey material and the white numbering/lettering it just looks strange. Is there something I am not doing right while editing the image, or is the problem most likely in our upload process?

Photoshop Elements :: Projects Are Blurry Once Uploaded / Saved?

Jun 21, 2013

Every-time I save something in PSE 11 that has text or graphics, I feel like the clarity is not even remotely close to what I was seeing in PSE. The whole thing often has a blurry/pix elated look to it. I am sure that any graphics are large files for clarity and in PSE 11 they appear very clear and sharp, I am usually saving in .png The resolution is 300.

What can I do to make sure that they save crystal clear and sharp so that once they are uploaded (to somewhere like Facebook for a timeline cover) that they don't loose that sharpness to text and graphics that I see in PSE? What is the best format to save in? I don't  have this issue with pictures I am editing, it seems to just be stuff I am making.

Lightroom :: Images Don't Show Up Edited When Uploaded?

Jan 5, 2014

I would edit some light work on my images and then export it into a folder. It would look fine and have all the features that I edited. Whenever I upload it to other places, it wouldn't take the edits I made and it shows up as the orginal image or maybe a darkened version of it (I'm not sure). The only place that actually takes my edited images as edited, is 500px. For facebook, there were times when I uploaded and it didn't take my edits, but when I exported the image again to a higher resolution of Jpeg, facebook would take the edits.

I wanted to print some photos so I uploaded them to costco or shutterfly, but the images are not the way I edited in Lightroom.

Lightroom :: How To Add Different Watermarks To Different Images Uploaded To Flickr

Oct 11, 2013

I like using the Flickr uploader through Lightroom (I have 4) to keep my Flickr images up to date. I have taken to adding a copyright to my images, but have become involved in a project that requires a different copyright for select images. Is it possible to use the uploader service to add one copyright to some images while adding a different one to other images? Or do I have to export images and then manually upload them to Flickr? I would rather not do that, if possible, just because I wouldn't have the added benefit of being able to have image metadata and edits automatically update in Flickr as I do them in Lightroom.

Revit :: Cannot Render In Cloud - Files Could Not Be Uploaded / Translated

Feb 24, 2013

Using Revit Architecture 2013 with Update 1 on a Windows 7 32 bit system. I've rendered successfully in the past ( a month ago, as I recall) and then, as I continued working on hte model, the ability was gone.

I receive either the files could not be uploaded or the files could not be translated errors each time. It's quite frustrating. I love this product, but I am in grief becuase of this.

I've tried all the suggested remedies in the book: Logged in and out from Revit, cleared the firefox cookies and cache (used ccleaner) logged in and out of the 360 account on the web and said my prayers. Several times. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Revit on a different computer, to no avail.

Since other models render perfectly, I suspect a problem with the model.

Illustrator :: CS6 JPEG File Saved Looks Distorted When Uploaded Onto Internet

Feb 7, 2013

Made a simple type and shape design with a solid backdrop. When I tried to export via save for web to jpeg with high settings, it came up online with subtle but visible alterations. Behind my shapes are speckled like dust, it looks super low quality.

I tried using ps to save instead, I even tried removing the backdrop and remaking a whole new document and just moving select items over, then recoloring..which was not the best attempt but same result.

I'm not exactly sure what her color settings should be to avoid this. Im working at 6500 x 6500 right now. Here's a visual of the up close issue. All over its less quality. And Im saving at top jpeg settings in RGB. I really don't want to tell her she has to begin all over again.

Lightroom :: 3.6 - Flickr Upload Overwrites / Renames Previously Uploaded Photos

How do I stop LR3.6 from overwriting previously uploaded photos?

For instance, 3 days ago I uploaded a bunch of photos with their original filenames intact.. ie DSF1000 etc.

In Flickr I changed the filename to something more meaningful.

Yesterday, in LR, I selected 2 photos from the same batch of previously uploaded photos after modifying in Lightroom.

LR reuploaded all the same photos again..with the original file names (which I'd changed in Flickr) which meant Flickr comments and the view count was reset to 0.

Photoshop :: Merge To HDR Results In CS6

Aug 15, 2012

I'm geting really ugly "Merge to HDR" results in Photoshop CS6 that were not present in CS5.5. It only happens when using the "Remove Ghosts" checkbox

I use a Panasonic Lumix G2
Photoshop CS6
Lightrom 4
Camera Raw 7

I'm trying to merge RAW images to HDR. I use Adobe Lightroom 4.

1) I right click on multiple RAW exposure images
2) Edit In > Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop
3) After aligning and merging, I use the "remove ghosts"option, but it creates really ugly blown-out areas on my preview image. The result is just as bad after clicking "OK" and the "creating file" box is done. I can see another thread discussing this in the Photoshop CS6 Beta (read only) area. The guy was using a Panasonic Lumix GH2,(mine's a G2) so maybe it's an isue with RAW support for Panasonic's Raw format.

[URL]....

Im having this exact issue also.
