Jun 5, 2013When I upload images from Photoshop cs6 or lightroom 4.4, the uploaded images appear greenish and flat wehn compared to the original images.

Photoshop :: Images When Uploaded To Web Colors Shift?
Apr 27, 2012I have been having a problem lately with my images displaying funky when they are uploaded to the web. The images become over saturated. The color space is sRGB so I am not sure what is going on. I never have had this problem till this year. I use lightroom, then export the image and finish editing the image in photoshop. When I export from Lightroom I pick srgb color space.

Jan 5, 2014I would edit some light work on my images and then export it into a folder. It would look fine and have all the features that I edited. Whenever I upload it to other places, it wouldn't take the edits I made and it shows up as the orginal image or maybe a darkened version of it (I'm not sure). The only place that actually takes my edited images as edited, is 500px. For facebook, there were times when I uploaded and it didn't take my edits, but when I exported the image again to a higher resolution of Jpeg, facebook would take the edits.
I wanted to print some photos so I uploaded them to costco or shutterfly, but the images are not the way I edited in Lightroom.

Oct 11, 2013I like using the Flickr uploader through Lightroom (I have 4) to keep my Flickr images up to date. I have taken to adding a copyright to my images, but have become involved in a project that requires a different copyright for select images. Is it possible to use the uploader service to add one copyright to some images while adding a different one to other images? Or do I have to export images and then manually upload them to Flickr? I would rather not do that, if possible, just because I wouldn't have the added benefit of being able to have image metadata and edits automatically update in Flickr as I do them in Lightroom.

May 19, 2013I have a blog and everything for it (header, banners, etc.) is made in Photoshop and up until yesterday it was all fine. But yesterday I wanted to try to put a scanned picture for my header - which on my computer looks white, but on the web it looked gray, so I decided to go back to what I had.
When I uploaded my old header it now looked blue/gray-ish, very pixelated and really strange. When I tilted my screen (laptop computer) I could see some weird edges around the shapes that I had on that header. I ulso tried uploading to Picasa web albums but the same thing happens.
I tried also making another image in Photoshop to test it out - it was white with big spots in green colour and when uploaded I could see the edges of the entire image even though it was white (it didn't blend with the rest of the background like it used to), and when I tilted my screen I saw pink edges around those big dots and it looked all fuzzy almost like it's moving (like on those very old TV's when you lose an image and it's snowy looking).

Oct 9, 2013Im having trouble exporting images with High ISO (3200+). Colors aren't coming out the same as the edit version in Lightroom.
Images are coming out brighter after export. Here's an example.
Image was shot in ISO 6400. Other images shot at higher ISO are also coming out brighter.Clearly a huge difference. Its quite disturbing.

They do not use the same layer colors as us and I am trying to find a lisp that would allow me to set up a table with the layer names and the color I want them to be so that I can quickly change all the layers to our companys color standards.
Example:
Layer 1 = Color 1
Layer 2 = Color 15
Layer 3 = Color 10
Etc.
I don't know a lot about lisp but I figure if I could find a lisp that did this I could plug in my layer/color assignments and it would work.

Jul 1, 2012How do I stop LR3.6 from overwriting previously uploaded photos?
For instance, 3 days ago I uploaded a bunch of photos with their original filenames intact.. ie DSF1000 etc.
In Flickr I changed the filename to something more meaningful.
Yesterday, in LR, I selected 2 photos from the same batch of previously uploaded photos after modifying in Lightroom.
LR reuploaded all the same photos again..with the original file names (which I'd changed in Flickr) which meant Flickr comments and the view count was reset to 0.

Mar 28, 2013*smacks the foreheard* I forgot to change the timezone on the camera when I arrived in a different continent and all my pictures are 8h behind. I have imported the holidays pictures into folders arranged by the day the pictures was taken and therefore many of the pictures are put in the wrong folder.
Correcting the pictures for the difference in the time zone was a cinch. However the pictures are still in the wrong folder! Updating/Synchronizing the folder does not put the pictures in the right folder.

Now I have scanned my old dia pictures and want to change capture time for multiple images in lightroom 5.3. It works for one image whem I in library view use Metadata, Edit Capture Time... and set the date using "Adjust to a specificed date and time". If I try to change for more than one image by marking them and edit the capture time it fails. The pictures gets both different date and time.

Nov 18, 2013Seem to be having a problem with color, OK the attached image shows a tutorial that I'm learning, as you can see I have dual monitors, both are Dell 22 inch and not calibrated although they are both the same in relation to color profile and there's not a lot of difference when viewing the same image on both screens. The problem is that when I'm viewing a video tutorial on the left screen the colors are completely different from what I see in Photoshop, so when I open the tutorial image supplied the colors are completely different from what I see on the Video tutorial. Even if I change the video to the right screen and Photoshop to the left screen the results are the same. I use VLC player and have tried Windows media player but get the same results.
Graphics Card is nvidia gtx 660 2GB All settings are set to default, Windows color profile and Photoshop are both set to ProPhoto RGB.

Jul 3, 2005Recently, whenever I "Save for Web", the resulting images appear to be tinted (i.e. the colors are not the same as they appear in Photoshop). This applies to both GIFs and JPEGs. However, when I load the saved GIF or JPEG in Photoshop, the colors look just like the original PSD. I have tried saving with "Standard Windows Color", "Uncompensated Color", "Standard Mac Color", and "Document Color Profile", but there does not appear to be any difference between any of the above when the file is viewed outside of Photoshop. I have had Photoshop for some time and I never encountered this issue before. Did I change something in my settings by mistake?
