When I have uploaded my three photos I desire to create an HDR photo with, I highlight them, right click, edit but it does not give me the option to "Merge to HDR". Why will it not allow me to do so?

How do I stop LR3.6 from overwriting previously uploaded photos?
For instance, 3 days ago I uploaded a bunch of photos with their original filenames intact.. ie DSF1000 etc.
In Flickr I changed the filename to something more meaningful.
Yesterday, in LR, I selected 2 photos from the same batch of previously uploaded photos after modifying in Lightroom.
LR reuploaded all the same photos again..with the original file names (which I'd changed in Flickr) which meant Flickr comments and the view count was reset to 0.
When I merge LR5 catalogs the existing photos are overwritten by the incoming photos

View 2 Replies View RelatedI would edit some light work on my images and then export it into a folder. It would look fine and have all the features that I edited. Whenever I upload it to other places, it wouldn't take the edits I made and it shows up as the orginal image or maybe a darkened version of it (I'm not sure). The only place that actually takes my edited images as edited, is 500px. For facebook, there were times when I uploaded and it didn't take my edits, but when I exported the image again to a higher resolution of Jpeg, facebook would take the edits.
I wanted to print some photos so I uploaded them to costco or shutterfly, but the images are not the way I edited in Lightroom.
When I upload images from Photoshop cs6 or lightroom 4.4, the uploaded images appear greenish and flat wehn compared to the original images.

I like using the Flickr uploader through Lightroom (I have 4) to keep my Flickr images up to date. I have taken to adding a copyright to my images, but have become involved in a project that requires a different copyright for select images. Is it possible to use the uploader service to add one copyright to some images while adding a different one to other images? Or do I have to export images and then manually upload them to Flickr? I would rather not do that, if possible, just because I wouldn't have the added benefit of being able to have image metadata and edits automatically update in Flickr as I do them in Lightroom.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI took several pictures, seven to be exact of a rocket launch at night, thinking that one long exposure might make some sections of the photo too bright. The beach is a little underexposed, but that is OK. how to join them? I thought I would use the first one as the base and basically merge the others after I take out all of the content except the rocket plume/flare, but when I try this, it puts the rocket plume in the middle of the layer and I would have to manually align the rocket trail, but can't seem to do it very easily. I'm only trying to cut and paste, and obvious newbie to elements. I have just upgraded to 12 but still have 9 on my machine if one is any better than the other for doing this type of thing.

So Ive set up a 10 to view raffle tickets job. Inserted 20 numerical merge fields, positioned, resized, applied font size color alignment etc etc etc.. Takes ages..... So then merge to a new document, works nice and I can save it fine.
There are a hundred reasons why i may have to close the 'master' merge file before the job has been successfully printed. It may be a repeat print job.
Any which way I really dont get why the live merge data fields are lost on closing the file.

Should I open them in Photoshop and merge them/edit them before I import them into LR 3 or should I import first, do my keywords, etc. then export into PS. I am using CS4. I assume I shouldn't develop in LR3 until after the images are merged.
