View 1 RepliesI took several pictures, seven to be exact of a rocket launch at night, thinking that one long exposure might make some sections of the photo too bright. The beach is a little underexposed, but that is OK. how to join them? I thought I would use the first one as the base and basically merge the others after I take out all of the content except the rocket plume/flare, but when I try this, it puts the rocket plume in the middle of the layer and I would have to manually align the rocket trail, but can't seem to do it very easily. I'm only trying to cut and paste, and obvious newbie to elements. I have just upgraded to 12 but still have 9 on my machine if one is any better than the other for doing this type of thing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to put 8 photos side by side and make one photo out of it. With Photoshop Elements "version 7" this could be accomplished by using the menu point "New" --> "Photomerge-Panorama" in the File menu. In the German Photoshop Elements "version 10" which I use now this does not work any more. I consulted already the related manual and the instruction videos in the internet, without success.
Need menu points which I have to choose for my request.
How can I make mini photos? I don't want several of one photo. I want one of several photos and mini photos of components in a photo, such as a face. I'm a very inexperienced Photoshop user.

I have two photos that I want to use one as the back ground and the other one to insert a blue light. The first picture we can remove the sign talking of the blue light special. Then I want to add the blue light from the second picture.
I wished the wife had taken a tighter shot of the blue light. I can go back and take another picture.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMerge to HDR worked once on the CS4 sample files but no more. Photoshop gets through the Merge to HDR dialog on the sample jpegs (or my own jpegs) but throws the following error when creating the HDR image:
Error 54: uncaught JavaScript exception: Error #.
Line: 168
-> throw err;
If Merge to HDR is chosen on DNG images from Lightroom 2.1 or Bridge CS4, Photoshop again gets to the Merge to HDR dialog but when creating the HDR image seems to throw it away with no resulting error. Photoshop just stares blankly with no image open.
And resetting the Photoshop preferences of course has no effect on this.
I am fairly new to more than the basic elements of photoshop. I am using 'Actions' to create a e-book cover and had my design created but when I pressed finalise iget the error box - The command Merge Visible is not available with two boxes continue or stop Clicking on either box produces no results.
My query how do I cure this please, I also notice that in the layer detail menu all but the background layer have disappeared. I have taken back steps and re-entered layers with the same result. Forgive my ignorance I am a silver haired surfer who was told it was easy to create e-book covers in photoshop.
I have these two photos and I want to merge them together so that it shows a nice interior & view photo. And don't say take better photos!

What I want to do is to take a portrait from one photo (Freehand Selection tool to select JUST the face?) and blend/merge it on the background photo. I want to be able to change the size and opacity of the face so that I get the EXACT result I want.
Currently looking at buying either Lightroom 4 or Elements 11 at home - can I change image resolution and merge/join photos along with the standard photo editing - would be using this app for my travel pics, family photos and photobooks?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded some texture maps of Earth and Mars that consist of a number of JPG images that are all 1024 pixels square. What I want to do, and I've tried and failed so far, is to combine the separate images to make one big map of the planet surfaces. I assume this will be possible by tiling the images.
I've had a google around but can't find any tutorials related to combining sections of a map together.
I have version 5.0 and version 9.0. I would like to merge 5 and 9 together and use in version 11.0.
