How could I protect my work? With watermarks? Do you even think, it's important to protect it?
I am preparing some water paper decal graphics which will go onto a black surface. I have made decals using either a solid yellow or a gold uniform fill with CD6 & RGB color model
I have increased the printer (Canon Pixma 860) intensity to the max.The end results don't seem to pop on the black background surface like they do on the white decal paper background.
I have a huge bitmap that i traced using Outline Trace > High Quality Image
On zooming in, the curve looks like this with bitmap below the curve-group
As you can see on the right, the original bitmap is below the curve-group.. but when i delete the bitmap (as i no longer need it). it results in these curves with strange whitish borders :
If you import a bitmap into draw and then use the "node edit tool" to crop parts of the image, subsequent tracing causes unpredictable results... a random part of the image gets traced...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am creating my files in 5x. The final product will be a printed 8.5 x 11 calendar. The company requires 300dpi resolution, and a bleed size of 1/16".
Product 8.5" x 11" Calendar
Final Size 8.5" x 11"
Bleed Size 1/16"
Resolution to Submit 8.627" x 11.127", 2588 x 3338 px, 300dpi
My page is letter size. The image is a bitmap composed of numerous photographs and vector graphics.
I have saved them to a CMYK BITMAP 300DPI.In Corel the image reads as 11.125" x 8.625"
When I export to a pdf or jpg the image size changes to 11.293" x 8.796" which will not work for the printer. It sets the design elements outside the 'safe zone'.
When I export a CorelDraw file to Illustrator, Corel has a habit of turning all objects into transparencies. So I have to convert them back into opaque objects in Illustrator, which can take a long time since I'm doing illustrations that have on average 1000 + objects, most of them opaque. I'm using the default export settings, and changing which version of Illustrator I'm exporting to doesn't seem to work.
I'm wondering if this is a glitch with CorelDraw X5 or do I have some box checked that shouldn't be?
I have photo store and I often shoot weddings but I have "problems" with my customers.Thy want to put all pictures on CD Discs to watch the pictures on computer and to make order for enlarging.I resize the picture but they complains about small looking size of the pictures. They complain even if I put almost invisible watermark.I have try with A4 contact sheets but still complains.
how I can put the pictures on CD but somehow to protect them from enlarging on photo paper. Is any program available to protect the pictures from enlarging. For example picture looks fine of computer screen but when it's printed on photo paper watermark to appear, or I ask too much.
I just wanted to know is there any way, not to allow user to change, workspace or save workspace in another name.
we have 2 shifts of drafters in our company who work with one machine. Shift 2 always complain about user on shift one change panel and ribbons . we have a standard icon and panel , But you know some users have their own way which thinks is the best and always keep changing UI.
So I need to know is there anyway to lock acad.cuix or lock workspace.
How to protect some area in the Illustrator from changes? Like Photoshop does.
What I mean is: In the Photoshop I can select some area with Selection tool, let's say a rectangle. Then I can edit that area without a risk to harm any pixels outside it. I can apply any filter to it (blur, etc.), I can fill it with some colour or pattern. And the area outside the selection will be unchanged.
I can not find any way in the Illustrator to do the same or even a similar thing! I can isolate some object or group. but I can not isolate an area/region.
Say you doing some graphic work for someone and the person would like to see it before they say ok that will work.
Well if they wanted to they could steal the pic so is there a way to protect your work from this happing.
I have a drawing for our current project. I wish to share this drawing to other disciplines but shouldn't be modified by others. We can password protect that file, but it will ask password while opening it. I need to protect this file like Excel that "anyone can open it but they can't modified istead of typing password". I need to open and attach as xref it in autocad not in autocad reader (DWS).

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn PS CS3 I had set up something very useful on my Wacom tablet. I had two buttons mapped to two different actions. They would do the following:
1) Load tool preset for Dodge, 25px soft round, 10%, Highlights
2) Load tool preset for Burn, 25px soft round, 10%, Shadows
With PS CS4 this doesn't work because of the new "Protect Tones" checkbox. If Protect Tones is on, the tool preset will not change from "Highlights" to "Shadows" automatically. It just gets stuck on whatever it was on previously. To make matters worse, Protect Tones turns itself ON every time you switch from Dodge to Burn, even if you've saved a Tone Preset with Protect Tones turned off!
Any new plugin for illustrator that will password protect a layer. The plugin Master Lock only works in Illustrator version 8 and 9.
Is there a newer version that works with CS5 ?
I have created a design with two fonts that I used, but when I open that design now is shows that the 2 fonts are now missing and wants to substitute for another font, I designed the logo about 8 months ago, I have looked in my Fonts folder in Control Panel as well as Font Navigator, but they are not there, this happens a lot with other designs as well.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am a self thought user of CorelDraw11 and i have been having great fun using it. I now want to move a bit forward into something much more advanced. I want to design a website using CorelDraw11.
My question now is, is it possible to design a website using CorelDraw11?
I must have clicked on something that has caused there to be no color in a design or text. It looks transparent. In the lower right corner it shows to be the correct color and outline but it does not show up on my screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI followed the directions in guided mode in "recompose" to protect/remove. All I get is the little cross hair curser. Is there suppose to be a virtual "brush" like the directions speak about? I am using the supposedly "fully functional trial" version of Photoshop elements 11.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to be able to take a design that is in outline format such as this for an example:
[URL]
Converting it to an outline is really easy and I have no problems with that. However, I need each individual piece of the design to be separated out as an individual object as certain pieces would get cut out of different materials.
What is the easiest way to convert this design from one big outline design, to individual components?
I use X5 for creating files that can be read by a laser cutter. To combine as much object as possible on the working area i have to import the DXF files and place them.
Now i would like to know if its possible to link a obeject in a DXF auto to that same object in a X5 design. So if it is changed in the DXF it is changed in the X5 as well.
I have a design that I would like to cut in half so that I can cut half of it at at time on my vinyl cutter. I can't think of way to do it in Corel.
