3ds Max :: Render Status Bar Missing?
Aug 13, 2013i have looked everywhere for torublshooting for this. but they are all for 3d max 2009. I have the 2012 version and the render status bar is gone missing. I cannot find the INI file.

I rendered frames 600-1500 on the machine with max 2014. The renderer indicated that all frames were rendered in the usual way. However, upon playback (avi), the animation lasted 18 seconds rather than the expected 30, with the last 12 seconds (about 360 frames) missing.

This happened for the first time a couple of days ago using the same project file. In both cases, the avi file size was 1,044, 391 KB. It is not unusual for other project avi files to greatly exceed this. I have looked in the project file for some parameter that set an avi file size limit without success.

After Effects :: Layer Missing When Render?
Aug 31, 2013I have created a short 4 second comp and it all plays back fine until I actually try to render it. I've tried rendering the layer on it's own in a seperate comp and it disappears then as well and just becomes a white screen, but the original one when put into a comp works fine. I've spent hours editing it and putting it in place so i really don't want to start again.

Photoshop Elements :: 3D Motion - Layers Missing After Render?
Feb 28, 2013I was having three 3D layers moving ontop of a background. Everything was working fine, although very slow on 8GB macbook pro late 2011. Everything was fine while testing it in the "motion window". Then i started rendering it and the output video file is missing two of the three layers? What is wrong? Additionally, if I now go back to the "motion window", i have the same problem: While playing the file, two layers are missing.

Description:
1. The model is completed.
2. Renderer is assigned to 'mental ray'.
3. When in the material editor, when i click on "Arch and Design", the drop down template is MISSING.
Installation was perfectly fine.

Revit :: Unable To Render The View Due To Unknown Error During Render Calculations
Aug 1, 2012I keep getting a dialogue box that says "Revit was unable to render the view due to an unknown error during render calculations. The rendering operation will be canceled." The only option is to click "close" and when i do so, it continues to render but only the sky and grass. My buildings are not present.

The blue one is a correct tangent normal map created from a sphere in max 2011, the colored one is the the one created inside max 2012 from the same objects and settings, and the last is another sample of normals generated in max 2012.

Apr 17, 2012Is it possible to render an object to fit exactly into the render window. i.e If I have a plane object segmented into 512 * 512 segments and I randomly colour each polygon. If I render at 512*512 pixels, I would like to fit the plane exactly so that the rendered image shows 1 pixel per polygon.
Whilst you can select region to render its not that exact and is based on the visual window. can it be utilized with render blowup.
Basically I want to render a square object exactly ( no borders) at a large resolution, hence the need for render blowup so that I can render into smaller tiles.

AutoCAD .NET :: How To Get Status Of Attached Image
May 24, 2010I am trying to clean up our drawing database and have run across several drawings that are showing external file references with a status of 'unreferenced'. During a scan early last week of all current revisions of our drawings (about 120000) we uncovered about 7500 drawings that don't quite cut the mustard as it pertains to the use of attachments. I have written a small .NET app that scans through my drawings, but I am having difficulty with one aspect of my probing.
I need to be able to open up an AutoCAD drawing, navigate to said drawings image dictionary, get a RasterImageDef from that dictionary, and then check to see what the 'status' of that drawing is. By 'status' I mean the status as reported in the External References dialog that appears when using the command 'xref'. In particular, I want to write out/show a message when I encounter a drawing with an attachment that has a status of 'Unreferenced', which I take to mean that the drawing was attached at one point, has been unloaded, but not properly detached.
My problem is that I can't seem to get to any property that shows that status. I have used ARXDBG to snoop the database and I can verify that I see the images still in the image dictionary, but not in the drawing itself. I also can't seem to get at thte status of the attachment. To compund the matter, everytime I try to inspect the RasterImageDef object I get, AutoCAD locks up and bombs out.
I am guessing I could get at what I need via C++/ObjectARX but I don't want to go that route if I dont have to. I have attached a snippet of the code I am currently using to scan through my drawings, not perfect or even pretty, but it works.

Nov 16, 2010I just installed 2011 and was in the process of setting up my workspace when I realized i could not find the Status Bar pull down on the View Tab/Windows Panel. Help still says it is there. When I went into the CUI I could not find the command or even the icon. I know that you can right click and edit the status bar buttons but you can only do them one at a time and then you have to right click again to get rid or add the next button and then right click again....the drop down, available in the last several releases enabled you to just check them on or off all at one time.

Jul 10, 2012LT 2013. Under Layer Ctrl, the status tab (light blue sheet of paper icon), highlights as light blue (in use), regardless of whether or not its in use. The only way I can force a refresh is deleting / attempting to delete a layer (eg. del '0' which obviously dosen't work); but forces an update, where those in use remain light blue, and those not in use revert to white/grey.
how I can fix this quirk of not updating/refreshing when the Layer Ctrl is opened.

Photoshop :: Adding Copyright Status To A Metadata...
Jan 22, 2009I am using Photoshop CS3 for Windows. I have created a metadata template in Bridge with my contact information and my copyright information, etc. When I created the template the field called Copyright Status was not available but if I open an image and go into File Info by doing Shift-Ctrl-Alt-I the Copyright Status field is available and I can change it from Unknown to Copyrighted. I like this field because it shows the image is Copyrighted (Unknown looks bad and unprofessional) and also when you open the image in PS the © symbol shows at the top of the screen in front of the file name.
Is there a way to create a metadata template where I can have Copyrighted in the Copyright Status field?
