I'm got my image and everything set up but when I create an object, which I made see threw in "object properties", the object looks grainy like an old tube tv's going out. IDK

View 10 Replies View RelatedI’ve designed the front and back covers in PhotoShop. However, they want the whole document in Microsoft Word. So what I did was make a text box and put the image in it and stretched it over the page.
When I do that, it’s grainy, AND it doesn’t cover the whole page.
Is there something I can do to make that work? Or is this not possible? TO get a clean image from photoshop into Word?
I have a dwg that has a jpg image inserted.  I just got a new computer & Civil 3D 2013 software was reloaded. Now the jpg image looks grainy. The Image Quality is set to High & Raster is active. Where do I need to go & make a change so images appear clear?Â

Panning / dollying the camera, the image plane is still trying to maintain a 'forward' looking view to the camera. I would like to lock the talent / image plane so that when I do a camera move, the talent is 'sticking' to the virtual news room I have used.

I am on a step where it is explaining how to assign a bitmap image onto a plane, however, I cannot get the image to show up.
I create my plane add the image to the diffuse map deselect real-world scale option change the tiling value for U V to 1 and deselect tiling for both
select the plane I want to add the image to click the assign material to selection button (I dont see anything change at this point) Then the final step it says to click the "show standard map in viewport button" - I cannot locate this button within the material editor... there is a grayed out "put material to scene" a "show shaded material in viewport" ??? neither seems to do anything?
I just downloaded 2013, and I am trying to learn how to use it through a book to work with my future school designs. I, of course, have little assignments to do to learn how to work the basics of this program. I am at the point where I am creating a bitmap image onto a plane. I worked it the book's way, and the selected plane did not change to the image I chose; it remained a gray color. I then looked up tutorials online and have the same results. The material editor is changing, but not in the viewport.

why when i first import the image plane it is selectable but after awhile it became nonselectable ? no referencing or layering though
View 2 Replies View Relatedgetting a weird problem. at first when I had 2 image planes (front and side) every time I saved my scene and restarted, they would both disappear from perspective view. but they were still showing in ortho view. I'd have to delete the image plane and make it again. after adding a back camera with its own image, saving and restarting: it started to have all of them show in perspective, but now front and side dont show in ortho.
edit:: the first issue happens in 2011. the second in 2012. back cam probably has nothing to do with it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI seem to be having problems when I lasso round a specific part of a photo taken with a white background and then try to add that part of the image to a plain #000000 black background.
I always seem to get a white outline around the image when I place it on the black background, even when its on ZERO feathered. I don't like using feathered as it adds a smudge round the outside of the image.
I am using my CS2 on OSX and when I view the image in a full screen mode the color around the image is grey, well it used to be grey but it is blue now. How do I change it back to neutral grey?
View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a pic i took with my dig camera and a "border" for a birthday card that i want to use...the border is perfectly sized for a 4x6 pic...so i shrank the pic to 4x6 and added a new layer and placed the border on top of the pic....then i added a "Happy Birthday" text layer on top...when i saved the pic as a jpg and had it printed, everything was grainy....the words and border were the most obvious but the pic was nothing to write home about....
what should i do (even converting the RAW image to a jpg) to make sure the pic, border, and text come out nice and crisp?
I've just recently recieved a digital camera as a gift, and through using it have discovered what i'm guessing is a problem in my Photoshop color settings. In the past i've largely used photoshop for web design work, and not really with higher quality large photos. Anyways, when i'm opening my photo's in photoshop i'm finding extra graininess. I'd blame the camera, but when i open the pictures with windows' image previewer, even at "actual size" the graininess is not as severe as it is in photoshop. Not having had the necessity, i haven't delved into the color correction etc. side of photoshop yet.

We have a drawing with an excel spreadsheet pasted into the Paper Space as an embedded OLE object. I open the drawing and it prints fine. When he prints the drawing, the spreadsheet is very grainy and hard to read.
I tried plotting to a PDF and several different printers with same results every time. The only difference I noticed about his Plot Dialog Window was in the "Shaded Viewport Options".
When he selects from the "Quality" dropdown, the values for DPI associated with each option are different than mine. For example, on "Quality" setting "Normal", my window shows 300 DPI and his shows 100 DPI.
I tried setting his to "Custom" with a value of 300 DPI, but it seems to have no effect.
May be unrelated, but I also noticed that his LWDEFAULT system variable somehow got set to 09. I had to set that back to 25.
I've not long started shooting in RAW with my Nikon D700 and have had some pleasing results so far. However, I've just started editing in Lightroom and have noticed that my RAW images are incredibly grainy. I don't think it's the ISO because this has happened across the board ... even with a very low ISO. Obviously the jpegs seem much better as they've received treatment, but no amount of tweaking the details section of Lightrom seems to solve the problem. My work flow was: Shoot in RAW + jpeg > Manually upload the files to my PC > Add the raw files to Lightroom > Edit them via the developing module.
I've uploaded a cropped version of one of the images. Please note the white specks in the dark area of the RAW image.
This Q must be very old. Why can´t someone invent a sigle button for this I have tried all the things by the book but still when I try to lay text image with white background over an image the white is still there althoug I made it transparent. tried to sa for web as png-8, png-24 and gif. nothing works. To use magic wand gives bad result when applied to text? So what can I do? I am trying to place text over image. I know I could write it over the image but I need the text as a transparent layer some place else.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had Photoshop CC and have found large images (both RAW and JPEG) import really grainy. This hasnt happened with previous Photoshops ive owned.
when i scale the image size down it seems to remove most of the grain. ive found one other thread talking about this but they ended up agruing about termonolgy. Im not really keen for that.
I bet I've messed with some setting somewhere and forgot to change it back, but I can't for the life of me fix this problem.
It would be best if I don't have to add a blur to the gradient to get it to look right,
when I lighten up a photo certain dark areas (not all and not all the time) get very grainy / noisy looking. Is there anyway to remove or compensate for that? Unfortunately, I was shooting in very low-light level conditions and I could not use a flash (shots of horses). I would like to be able to get clean 8x10 prints out of these, but the grain is so bad.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently converted from Sketchup 8 to 3DS and I've been trying to render some scenes with Vray but they all come out super grainy, like the rendering has a layer of noise on top of it. I have a lot of experience with Vray for Sketchhup and have never encountered this. I attached an example.
