I am using 3ds Max 2012 to create some simple freeway directional signs for my experiment. I succeeded to make a panel but when I export it, the color has changed for some unknown reason. It looks like an additional white layer applied on the surface (In the yellow box in the attached pic).
Any suspicious check options I can try?? I really need to do this right..

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. It has a 500GB HD, 4GB RAM, 16" screen and CorelDRAW X5 and Summa's WinPlot bridge software installed. Everything runs perfectly.
I want to be able to cut vinyl letters from my Summa D75R vinyl cutter and then to cut a different colored outline to be applied over the top of those letters. The letters themselves, that is, the main body of the letters, I can cut with no problem.
I know that I will have to separate the two elements and cut the letters from one file and the outlines from a different file. As an experiment I created a single word with a color. I then created an outline for that word. I deleted the body of the letter leaving only the outline.
I then did a "Convert to Curves" on the outline and imported the image into the WinPlot software that my Summa D75R vinyl cutter uses. I sent the image to the cutter but it cut it as a solid letter. It did not make a double-line cut as it would have to do to make the image an outline.
I'm making some signs for my veggie stand for when we open. the problem I'M having is that I can change the font size ok but after I go back and try to add color to were i want it on the text won't let me do a thing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working on an assembly file with some different color components, the color of each component is set to AS MATERIEL. But suddenly the assembly color was changed to one color only, which is the same color as one of the component. I clicked each part, the color is still set to AS MATERIAL. I even can not undo it to change the color back.
And from now on, any part was placed to this assembly is changed to assembly one color. Inventor 2012 under Win 7 system.
using lightroom 4.3 when I edit a group of photos in lightroom, most of the files will only be edited in lightroom but a few will also be opend into PS6 (by right clicking > edit in>) Once the PS edits are complete the image is saved & I return to Lightroom. When I export the entire group of images - I set the file name to 'custom name - original file number'. The images I edited in lightroom only - all are renamed as expected (ie wedding photo-1234, wedding photo-1235). The images I edited in both lightroom & photoshop receive the custom name but lose their file name (ie wedding photo-, wedding photo-1, wedding photo-2, etc.) When viewing these PS edited images in lightroom - they do show the file #, it is only after export that the file # is lost..
I wish to maintain the file names for all of the images.
I have a little problem with Adobe Lightroom 4. I just started using the program and it was all workin well. I do a lot of editing through the "develop" section. Anyways, I started to export some of the photos (made them be re named to edit# according to the original number of the photo) and I found that now the "last edited" on my exported pictures said 2014/04/09. Why has the edited time changed?

I've set up a customized color space, named it and saved it. The one pref I always change is that I work in Adobe 1998. So I'll be working in PS and then see that when I go to save an image, the box checked at the bottom of the Open/Save dialog is sRGB. I go the the color space dialog and low and behold it says North American General Purpose. How did it get switched?

It seems the white colour has disappeared and been replaced by a cream colour. Even if I select #FFFFFF for white, it stil only gives the cream options. Even clicking the little black and white squares in the tools window, just corrects to this cream colour.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently working on a vector in the trial version of Photoshop CS6 that I acquired this Friday(?), and I'm running into a troublesome dilemma every time I re-open the file to work on at a later date. I find that some layers -- not all, but maybe five or six -- have changed their color to whichever color is in my palette, or whatever was in my palette the last time I opened Photoshop.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this a current glitch in this version of CS6? And in case you're wondering, yes, I have tried saving with all shape layers locked before I close; it made no difference.
For some reason, my colour picker appears to have changed into a format that I do not necessarily get on with.
Any ideas how to get it back to normal?
I have a drawing of my car that is purple and would like the color to be changed back to green the same color as my car. (Red, Yellow and Blue would be cool too. Just change the Blue bumpers/bars to Black).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently decided to use LR to catalog all my images (instead of Bridge). I love that PNG is now supported. Ran into one problem...all the snowflake and white frame images are viewed as a white rectangle due to the background white. I know Preview and other "viewers" don't have this issue. ACDSee has a setting to change the background. Can I do this in LR5? If not, is there a link where I can submit for a product enhancement to the Product Management team for a future release of LR?

View 2 Replies View RelatedCorel SP1. I now have toolbars I can see clearly, but the black background makes it impossible to tell if an image has a thin black perimeter border. Last release I could drag the window to size it larger than the image and it was easy to see. The attachment shows the trouble and I can't find where or how to change just the background color of the work surface without changing the color of the workspace that now works best for me.

We hit a weird snag. All our text used to be 100% black (c=0 m=0 y=0 & k=100) On opening files the black is now a mixture of CMYK.We changed default color profiles last week. Could this effect all files? f so - what are the original clr setting for Coreldraw X5 or how can we reset them?

I want the particular bar to fade out (gradually erasing more and more) as it heads towards the RIGHT.
I have few text labels and lines in a drawing that supposed to have black color.
However, color at some point changed to grey.
Color- by layer, transparency- by layer, viewstyle- 2D Wireframe...
The thing is if I double click on a text it turns to black but after regenall it turns to grey again!
Already did restart and everything. Looks like there is maybe some variable for color control, I don't know.
When in brush mode, clicking "ctrl" switchs to color picker until yourelease. Is this shortcut editable? What if I want this to be set onAlt instead, for instance?

I am designing large signs in corel draw ( 29 feet x 15 feet ). When I zoom out it only goes to 3%. Is there a way to let corel let me work with larger signs?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing ligntroom 4 from the cloud setup, is there any kind of setting I can use to defeat the big blotto sign that pops up just under center screen in "Develope" mode when you Ctrl-z (undo)/Ctrl-y(redo)?
When you have the image in single image view and so quite large, when in full screen, that UNDO thing pops up right in the most likely place you are carefully watching to see the changes. And it is absolutely huge, at least for something that is apparently meant to be a gentle reminder for the event where you didn't do it on purpose.
Maybe a small picky thing but I can think of no reason that sign needs to be so "In your face", why not down in a corner and in font many times smaller.
At any rate, what can I do to get rid of it or move it to a less obnoxious location?

It's not something I have tried to do before and I am a newvie to CorelDraw as my new job requires me to use it. My old job required Illustrator CS4/5.
Document colors in Corel Draw X3 have changed. Example: dark green is now black on my designed object; Teal is now light green.
I thought it might be color management had switched somehow but all management settings do not make a change as they did before or at all. Basically I think the problem lies in the color management. I re-installed the program but the problem remains. Color management does not affect color appearances as they used too before.I run windows 7 and have had it for a couple of years with no problems.
