I changed the mode of a RGB image to HSB color model then copy and paste hue channel as a layer to the original RGB image ...After changing the blend mode of the hue layer to the hue blend mode..I can't see my original RGB image.
View 2 RepliesI accidently changed the color of the background outside of my docked image from grey to black and can not figure out how to reset it to the default grey. The workspace dock color is grey until I dock an image and then the color surrounding my image changes to black. This is occuring in the Full Edit Mode.

I’m not sure about the current “annotation scale” in case of lay out mode.
Annotation scale option is displayed only in the model and viewport mode but not in the lay out mode (attached)!
Based on what annotative objects living on the lay out but neither in the model (or viewport) are re-sized? At this mode, there is no option to choose the annotation scale?
On other words, how to choose the annotation scale in the lay out mode?
I'd like to export a design as a PNG image. The document color mode was set as CMYK and I've only used CMYK colors but when I go to export, that option is not available (as you can see in the picture).
Can't .png images be exported with a CMYK color mode? If I export as .jpg then there is no problem but in this case it has to be saved as a png image.
In the Printer Settings drop down menu both Color Mode and Print Mode are grayed-out. This just happened I cannot think of anything I've done differently.
I'm using OS 10.6.8 and the latest Epson drivers for the 3880. I have re-installed both PS and the Epson drivers. If I print from Acrobat Reader everything seems to work fine, this only is happening in Photoshop CS5.
Today I encountered a weird problem with Lightroom. When I switch from Library to Develop to edit photos, immediately, the photo changes. I get strange blue highlights appearing in an area that is largely black, and red, where there is white.If I do a command Z (on a Mac), it just changes back to Library mode.

Everything worked just fine until suddenly, in model tab, every new dimension i wanted to draw, looked like this (see .jpg attatchment). I didnt modify anything. Just changed to layout tab for a moment and then back to model. When i changed the text height into 10x bigger just to see the difference, the white dimension line just got wider and thats it.

But suddenly the assembly color was changed to one color only, which is the same color as one of the component. I clicked each part, the color is still set to AS MATERIAL. I even can not undo it to change the color back.
And from now on, any part was placed to this assembly is changed to assembly one color. Inventor 2012 under Win 7 system.
I have a school project due tomorrow and I am almost completely finished. Except one part says that "Model adjusts correctly as __ varies". When I change a parameter, only that parameter changes and the rest of the part remains the same. I'll attach the assigment. I'll attach my work also if requested.

I've set up a customized color space, named it and saved it. The one pref I always change is that I work in Adobe 1998. So I'll be working in PS and then see that when I go to save an image, the box checked at the bottom of the Open/Save dialog is sRGB. I go the the color space dialog and low and behold it says North American General Purpose. How did it get switched?

It seems the white colour has disappeared and been replaced by a cream colour. Even if I select #FFFFFF for white, it stil only gives the cream options. Even clicking the little black and white squares in the tools window, just corrects to this cream colour.

I have added a Layer Mask to the new layer and I'm trying to use the Brush Tool with black forground to cover part of the new layer. I'm following an online tutorial step by step, but when I try to use the Brush Tool I get "could not use color replacement tool because it only works in full color mode". The Image>Mode is set to RGB.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently working on a vector in the trial version of Photoshop CS6 that I acquired this Friday(?), and I'm running into a troublesome dilemma every time I re-open the file to work on at a later date. I find that some layers -- not all, but maybe five or six -- have changed their color to whichever color is in my palette, or whatever was in my palette the last time I opened Photoshop.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this a current glitch in this version of CS6? And in case you're wondering, yes, I have tried saving with all shape layers locked before I close; it made no difference.
For some reason, my colour picker appears to have changed into a format that I do not necessarily get on with.
Any ideas how to get it back to normal?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe project is a photo montage. It was 4-color, now must become 2 colors. So I've changed each of the original 4-color photos (jpg and eps) into separate psd files (as grayscale/duotone/montage-and assigned it One pantone color)
In a new psd "montage" file, I plan to place each photo on its own layer, adjust tints, transparency, etc, to create one new montage/flattened.I'm not sure which color mode is best when setting up this new file, CMYK or grayscale?
Once the PS doc is done, the job will be saved as a PDF for 2-color printing.I want to insure the 2 pantone colors separate properly at press.
Why have colors in my merged image changed? I am running Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7 and I'm viewing 3-channel RGB images. Something has changed and the blue channel doesn't appear in the image and the green channel is now blue. Everything looks perfect according to the thumbnails in the channel window. But when I looked at the merged image in the central view, again, blue is gone and green is now blue.

I recently decided to use LR to catalog all my images (instead of Bridge). I love that PNG is now supported. Ran into one problem...all the snowflake and white frame images are viewed as a white rectangle due to the background white. I know Preview and other "viewers" don't have this issue. ACDSee has a setting to change the background. Can I do this in LR5? If not, is there a link where I can submit for a product enhancement to the Product Management team for a future release of LR?
