3ds Max :: Wireframe Selection Has Changed?
Jun 15, 2012When working in wireframe mode in previous versions of max I was always able to select whatever object I wanted by clicking on one of its edges, regardless of whether it was behind any other objects. Now in the latest version max appears to be selecting objects closest to the view (as if I were in shaded/perspective) and it's driving me absolutely mental as making selections is now very slow and arduous.
I haven't yet managed to find whether or not this is a glitch, or a change, and if it is a change whether it can be turned back to how it was before?
AutoCad :: Selection Highlighting Changed To Solid
Apr 2, 2009Midway through my session I must have hit some key combination that changed a global setting of some sort as all of a sudden when selecting objects they no longer show up dashed to show they are selected, the grip points still show but there is no dotted line of the objects.
This happens everywhere including when picking boundaries to hatch......you cant see what boundaries you have selected because the selection line is solid.
This is making life unbelievably difficult, how to reset the selection to a dashed line as opposed to a solid line?
In case I am not being clear, draw a line. Then select it (click on it) and you see it becomes dashed and the grips appear. When I select now just the grips show up and the line stays solid.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Assembly Color Changed To One Color
Feb 21, 2013I am working on an assembly file with some different color components, the color of each component is set to AS MATERIEL. But suddenly the assembly color was changed to one color only, which is the same color as one of the component. I clicked each part, the color is still set to AS MATERIAL. I even can not undo it to change the color back.
And from now on, any part was placed to this assembly is changed to assembly one color. Inventor 2012 under Win 7 system.

Sep 11, 2012My color picker has changed from the normal default to a totally different one. How to change it back?
Below is a picture of what it has changed to. I used to have the default one with White top left Black Bottom Left and the certain colour top right.

Photoshop :: Color Space Changed
Dec 14, 2012I've set up a customized color space, named it and saved it. The one pref I always change is that I work in Adobe 1998. So I'll be working in PS and then see that when I go to save an image, the box checked at the bottom of the Open/Save dialog is sRGB. I go the the color space dialog and low and behold it says North American General Purpose. How did it get switched?

Apr 29, 2005color picker has stopped giving me the slider with the full range of colors, and is instead just allowing me to peruse a few colors at a time. I can still access the full spectrum, but have been using PS for 8 years with the same setup. I'm using PS 7.

Jul 17, 2007I have just opened up Photoshop CS2 and the default layer background colour has changed!! How I do not know. It seems the white colour has disappeared and been replaced by a cream colour. Even if I select #FFFFFF for white, it stil only gives the cream options. Even clicking the little black and white squares in the tools window, just corrects to this cream colour.

Dec 3, 2012I'm currently working on a vector in the trial version of Photoshop CS6 that I acquired this Friday(?), and I'm running into a troublesome dilemma every time I re-open the file to work on at a later date. I find that some layers -- not all, but maybe five or six -- have changed their color to whichever color is in my palette, or whatever was in my palette the last time I opened Photoshop.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this a current glitch in this version of CS6? And in case you're wondering, yes, I have tried saving with all shape layers locked before I close; it made no difference.

Lightroom :: 5 - Can PNG Background Color Of White Be Changed
Feb 25, 2014I recently decided to use LR to catalog all my images (instead of Bridge). I love that PNG is now supported. Ran into one problem...all the snowflake and white frame images are viewed as a white rectangle due to the background white. I know Preview and other "viewers" don't have this issue. ACDSee has a setting to change the background. Can I do this in LR5? If not, is there a link where I can submit for a product enhancement to the Product Management team for a future release of LR?

Dec 14, 2011Corel SP1. I now have toolbars I can see clearly, but the black background makes it impossible to tell if an image has a thin black perimeter border. Last release I could drag the window to size it larger than the image and it was easy to see. The attachment shows the trouble and I can't find where or how to change just the background color of the work surface without changing the color of the workspace that now works best for me.

3ds Max :: Freeway Directional Signs - Color Changed On Export
Apr 29, 2013I am using 3ds Max 2012 to create some simple freeway directional signs for my experiment. I succeeded to make a panel but when I export it, the color has changed for some unknown reason. It looks like an additional white layer applied on the surface (In the yellow box in the attached pic).
Any suspicious check options I can try?? I really need to do this right..

May 31, 2011We hit a weird snag. All our text used to be 100% black (c=0 m=0 y=0 & k=100) On opening files the black is now a mixture of CMYK.We changed default color profiles last week. Could this effect all files? f so - what are the original clr setting for Coreldraw X5 or how can we reset them?

However, color at some point changed to grey.
Color- by layer, transparency- by layer, viewstyle- 2D Wireframe...
The thing is if I double click on a text it turns to black but after regenall it turns to grey again!
Already did restart and everything. Looks like there is maybe some variable for color control, I don't know.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 :: Colors Changed By Themselves / Color Management Changes Don't Make Difference
Nov 1, 2012Document colors in Corel Draw X3 have changed. Example: dark green is now black on my designed object; Teal is now light green.
I thought it might be color management had switched somehow but all management settings do not make a change as they did before or at all. Basically I think the problem lies in the color management. I re-installed the program but the problem remains. Color management does not affect color appearances as they used too before.I run windows 7 and have had it for a couple of years with no problems.
Paint.NET :: How To Move Color Picker Out From Tool Box Into Color Selection
Oct 5, 2011I am a new user to paint.net, because the tool I used for complex image manipulation does not run on the OS of my new machine. Although I could easily purchase the newest version, I needed work on some pictures now. Paint.net was easily available and does most of the thins I need at the moment. In addition, it is officially supported at my work place, so it's a good idea to learn how to use it.
Paint.net has some great features and a cute UI, but there are some issues I would like to see improved. The one at the top of my list is the font preview. I am doing some text on a number of pictures and want to check out some fonts. Unfortunately I can't change the sample text in the font list (at least I do not know how).
However, meanwhile I found a even better function (actually the way I would like to see it). When the font list is open, I can scroll through the list and the text will instantly updated. Cool.
Great thing would be to move the color picker out from the tool box into the color selection, so that it would be always available. Also it would be useful to not only pick one pixel sometimes but the average of a greater area.
Illustrator :: In Color Picker / Selection In Color Palette Is Different Than Preview
Oct 2, 2012Working in Illustrator CS5 on a Mac. When choosing a color in the palette, the preview showing up is different than what is in the palette. If I hit "OK" the actual color chosen is the one in the palette, not the preview window... Including some pics for reference. In my 10+ years of using Illustrator, i have never seen this.I am using a Dell monitor on a mac... not sure if that would make a difference.

Aug 8, 2005I have been using Photoshop for quite sometime now for basic image editing and website design. I recently upgraded to 7.0 since 4.0 was giving me some trouble with memory errors that would result in loss of work. Anyways my question is this: Lately (as in the past week or 2) I have been having a problem with my Photoshop, when I would click on the color selector (the 2 color boxes in the tool selector box) it would select the Eye Dropper tool instead. And from there I could not do anything without hitting Alt + F4, after doing that the Eye Dropper tool would go away and I would be back where I started, still unable to change or choose a color. While the Eye Dropper tool is active when I do this I cannot click on anything or do anything, the Eye Dropper tool will not even function. I would only get an error sound as if I was trying to do something I'm not supposed too. I've never encountered this before and cannot find this same problem anywhere online. I have reinstalled PS numerous times and still the same effect. Has anybody else had or seen this problem? How can I fix it? Thank you for your time.
Nevermind, I found the problem. Apparently if I run PS with only 1 monitor on I get this error, but as long I have both monitors enabled it works fine. That's weird but atleast it works now.
Photoshop :: Selection / Color Correction And Blending
Nov 24, 2012How do I make a selection of ALL the yellow on the Meatball building and make it a deeper yellow the way it has been done in the attached photographs:

Someone suggested playing with the Color Range: Select/Color Range and then use the lasso tool plus the option button to delete what you don't need. But that's not working for me.
And in the next photo, what is/how do you achieve the blended effect on the area that is the where you would more obviously see that this is made-up of two photos? It's a blending mode right? Which one?
