Using ligntroom 4 from the cloud setup, is there any kind of setting I can use to defeat the big blotto sign that pops up just under center screen in "Develope" mode when you Ctrl-z (undo)/Ctrl-y(redo)?
When you have the image in single image view and so quite large, when in full screen, that UNDO thing pops up right in the most likely place you are carefully watching to see the changes. And it is absolutely huge, at least for something that is apparently meant to be a gentle reminder for the event where you didn't do it on purpose.
Maybe a small picky thing but I can think of no reason that sign needs to be so "In your face", why not down in a corner and in font many times smaller.
At any rate, what can I do to get rid of it or move it to a less obnoxious location?
Is there any way to restore the classic undo/redo buttons (with r-click functionality) without the need to load the 2009 UI preset? I have Max 2013 already set up with a fairly complex custom UI so I don't want to have to recreate that after loading the 2009 style preset just to get my undo/redo buttons back. The ones in the Customize menu don't support the multiple undo/redo via right-click.
And while I'm on the subject...is there any way to simply get rid of the irritating Quick Access Toolbar? I find it telling that whoever designed it put a save button next to the undo. Shows they never worked in production
im a noob at photoshop, i just started a few days ago. (use it to texture for 3d stuff) and im getting a few problems with it.
the main problem is that none of the command keys are working (stuff like Ctrl + Z for back and Ctrl + Y for redo) also some other commands are not working. Does anyone know whats going on?
Even with a simple IPT that only has a handfull of features, at times it takes a long time (3-5 minutes, sometimes longer) for Inventor to execute a undo or redo command.
Undo file size setting in Application options is set at 1MB (which is teh same setting I used in previous versions).
I think it'd be so cool to be able to replay your entire undo history of a picture, so you can see and show others how you proceeded on a picture you made. That way, it's never necessary to capture screen video for like 10 hours and stuff..
So first you'd need to add an option to save the undo history (so that you always keep the history from when you started). Then you'd need an option to playback the undo history.
I have a problem understanding how undo marks are added to the undo stack. In the code below a fan of lines are draw in a random location. If you run MTest a few times, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove the fans one at a time.
If you run MMulti to draw 10 fans, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove all the fans in a single step.I want to be able to remove the fans one at a time.I thought that a StartTransaction / Commit pair would act as markers for the undo stack, but this isn't working.
Tested on AutoCAD 2010 VS 2008 <CommandMethod("MMult")> _ Sub testmult() Dim i As Integer For i = 1 To 10 Call testdraw() Next End Sub [code]....
When importing pics from a particular folder this morning, I must have accidentally asked Lr to import my photos from my desktop, but because all subfolders are listed, it's imported 27000 or so images from all over my computer. This is an absolute disaster because it's not just taken a copy, it seems to have transferred them or sucked them into Lr.
I just imported from another catalog. I had two catalogs from the same event, one with some previous processing I had done, and another with all of my ratings made. I must have done this backwards, as all of my ratings are now gone! This was about 10+ hours of work, so I am hoping I can undo this??? How I could recover and undo that last import? I thought it would just sync, but I did not. I have not closed the catalog, although I'm not sure it makes a difference.
When I went into LR4 just now I must have hit a button and all of my 700+ edited images from a specific collection started changing back to their original state. What did I push? How do I get them back without having to do it one by one in the history mode?
How can you undo the Photo menu option "Update DNG Preview & Metadata" in the Develop module?
I accidentally hit this at which point Lightroom added a "From Metadata" entry to the history for the file. It also seemed to update the preview for the file (as seen with before / after).
I tried to undo the change, but all Lightroom did was remove history items ("From Metadata" remained at the top, all the edit sliders stayed the same (even though history was being removed) and the "before" image was permenantly changed.
Not even resetting the image from Library -> Photo -> Develop Settings -> Reset, then "Update DNG Preview & Metadata" worked.
Is the only way back from this operation to delete the DNG and reimport? It's not as if Lightroom warns you that the operation cannot be undone as with the "Read Metadata from File" command.
I'm on a roll, folks...have been browsing this forum madly since I stumbled across how to included images in my message, so I can't show you the image, but I was wondering if anyone would know how to get an image into one colour.
It sounds simple (and I'm sure the solution is), but I've got an image that's maroon and grey and has LOTS and LOTS of cross hatching etc, so changing it to black with the wand is a nightmare and, the crops are so close that you can barely differentiate lines.
I've changed it to greyscale, but that turns the maroon lines and squiggles terribly, terribly light, like a low-res print out. Is there any where to do, essentially, a search and replace on a colour? Simply turn all the maroon, no matter how squiggly it is, to black or should I clear a week and do it manually?
I am designing large signs in corel draw ( 29 feet x 15 feet ). When I zoom out it only goes to 3%. Is there a way to let corel let me work with larger signs?
I just switched from lightroom 3 to lightroom 4 a few months ago, and besides lightroom 4 BEING INCREDIBLY SLOWER it was fine. Until today, when suddenly, CTRL-Z applies a random preset. And I cannot get my original image back. Even putting all the sliders back manually, I can't get my original image back.
I accidentally removed a folder with images from my lightroom catalog. The lightroom .lrcat file seems to be intact (112.400kb) and the images are still on my hard drive.
Is there anyway that i can reimport the folder and that lightroom applies the changes that i earlier made on them? I assume all that information is stored in the catalog file? But when i try to reimport them, no changes are being made.
Working on an iMac in LR3, I thought I was deleting one unwanted file from disk, but actually had all 22 edited images highlighted and deleted them all. I need to undo 'delete from disk' on edited files, however 'undo' is greyed out and command Z is ineffective. I see them all in the trash and the preview shows how they appeared with my edits. When I did this once before, I moved images out of trash back into original file on the hard drive and reimported into LR3, however the edits were not maintained. I need to retain these edits (days of work!) so how do I undo my mistake?
If LR 5 included the ability to undo a specific change fro the history panel? This ? was asked in 2007, undoing "#3 out of 50". At present, would have to CTRL Z all the way back OR manually adjust all slider bars.
I am using 3ds Max 2012 to create some simple freeway directional signs for my experiment. I succeeded to make a panel but when I export it, the color has changed for some unknown reason. It looks like an additional white layer applied on the surface (In the yellow box in the attached pic).
Any suspicious check options I can try?? I really need to do this right..
Sometimes I switch back and forth between images while working on them. If I use Ctrl-Z to undo changes it will jump back to the previous image and start undoing changes there (if I made changes in that order). Is there a way to make it stay on the current image and undo changes made before switching images? If not, that would be a useful feature.
I need to identify these Fonts, used in traffic signs – as well as the Font used in the quotes measurements below. "What The Font" could not find out them.
We do all of our braille signs using a rotary-engraving machine -- get awesome results, but very noisy. Have any of the laser engravers out there had any success doing this process with their lasers?
I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. It has a 500GB HD, 4GB RAM, 16" screen and CorelDRAW X5 and Summa's WinPlot bridge software installed. Everything runs perfectly.
I want to be able to cut vinyl letters from my Summa D75R vinyl cutter and then to cut a different colored outline to be applied over the top of those letters. The letters themselves, that is, the main body of the letters, I can cut with no problem.
I know that I will have to separate the two elements and cut the letters from one file and the outlines from a different file. As an experiment I created a single word with a color. I then created an outline for that word. I deleted the body of the letter leaving only the outline.
I then did a "Convert to Curves" on the outline and imported the image into the WinPlot software that my Summa D75R vinyl cutter uses. I sent the image to the cutter but it cut it as a solid letter. It did not make a double-line cut as it would have to do to make the image an outline.
Details and sections signs in model/viewport modes,
In steel structure drawings, it is very common to have cross sections at particular locations as well as having details at specific joint.
I’m wondering if there is a way to have automation for
Having a sign (circular or rectangular) on the original drawing to show what each viewport represents on the model space (attached). This feature is already available (for example) in the ArcGIS software, i.e, each viewports is indicated by a sign on the original map to show where we are in that viewport
Having a cross section sign that represents at which location the cross section is taken (attached)
I’m not talking here about 3D model. All what I want is to show what each viewport represent on the mother drawing and also to show where the cross section is taken.
I am currently in the process of doing some traffic management drawings and need some road signs, but mainly im after some free cone software apparently. You can get some really good software, free if possible if not then the cheapest available. This is for autocad 2008.
