When i am using 3dsmax design 2012, it always display "error creating BMP" after click RENDER button. I must reduce the resolution so that i can render. How can I solve that ? Is it related to RAM or Display card ?

I am working on a project that requires a number of raster images to be compiled in a base file and then x-ref'ed into titleblock sheets. The base file is not giving me any problems but the files it is x-ref'ed into keep giving me fatal errors and shutting down AutoCAD. I am working in 2012 LT. I was able to find a HotFix for this problem for 2008 but have not been able to find a fix for my version.

I know you can set/adjust the grid in the preferences, but I would like to be able to have the gridlines as something editable (changing colors/scale, etc.) and as an element in the piece (as opposed to just a guide overlay that's not integrated).
Up til now I've been doing this the hard way, using guides and the line tool to create/copy/move each line, etc. building it piece by piece...while this works,
I have created a background for a flyer I am making, but would like to add text that takes on the design of the background. So imagine that the background is a piece of cloth, if you placed you hand under the cloth the cloth would take on the impression of the hand. So the text would be poppin' out at the viewer from what would look like underneath the background. Something similar to this. I have seen it on other flyers and was just wondering how it is done.

They would like this aspect of the logo to appear less hand-drawn, and be as symmetric and clean as possible (ie. in no way hand-drawn).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am making a design for a centrifugal water pump, the rotor was no problem, but I'm having some trouble designing the top case. I thought it would be easiest to create the channel for the water outlet using a loft feature.
I attached the ipt. there are two sketches, and I need a loft from the small to the large one, all the way around the circle. when you see it you'll probably understand what the result should be, but, no matter what I try, either I get an oddly shaped loft, or an error.
I have a problem with cutting the design, it actually prints it but not cut it. The error displays : Cut Data File Creation Error..
I'm using Corel Draw Graphics Suite X6, Raster Link, to print & cut using Mimaki CJV30-60..
What does the error actually mean & what do I need to do to resolve this?

I had been getting fatal errors on opening the program with the very same message. That has since passed but now it is happening when I try and open ADCENTER either at the command line or the ribbon button.

When I try to plot to pdf at the highest quality while in a layout, the file takes a long time to create and will be rather large but when I open the PDF there is nothing in it. It is all white! This typically happens when I try to create a plot that is larger than 11x17. I can send to the plotter and plot out a hard copy but no PDF.

View 6 Replies View RelatedEverytime I try to place a #8 machine screw type II screw from the content center I get a Design Accelerator Doctor error saying: "Modeling: Failed to insert a part into assembly!".
But if I place a Type I machine screw it works fine. Also if I replace the Type I screw with the Type II (the one I have a problem with) it replaces it no problem. So basically if I want to place a #8 Type II screw I have to place a Type I and then replace it with the Type II..

I restarted the program and when i selected an object it just stopped working again and i got the out of memory error again. I have about 200 GB free space so i don't know whats wrong, I'm running Windows 7 32bit.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am creating a couple of spur gears using the "Center Distance" design guide. I have fixed each gear to a cylindrical face, but when I click on the "Calculate" button, there is an error saying that the center distance is incorrect.
I went back and edited my sketches so the center distance matched the one displayed in the design accelerator and attempted to calculate again, but the error persists. What am I not getting here?
On PC_71, While ploting(creating the pdf via autocad) the pdf,its everytime coming in portait format but we want in landscape format.
On PC_71, if we create the pdf of any document by our Adobe pdf printer PRT13 then its creating pdf properly for both portait and landscape format . But for any autocad drawing file , the pdf printer PRT13 is not creating in landscape format.
I also cross-checked all plot setting with other proper working PC , its same then also its behave differently.
And if we create pdf on any other PC then its creating the pdf properly for any drawing but not on PC_71.
Also 1 more typical point I noticed that if we delete any pdf file from PC_71, then after refreshing its again appeared on same location.
Note - We are using:
Software : Autocad 2012-64Bit , Naviswork 2013 , Inventor Ultimate 2014-64 Bit , Bentley Autoplant V8i - SS4 version : 8.11.9.140 ,MS-Office 2010 - 64 Bit.

I have an error that started appearing in my VBA programs since we upgraded to AutoCAD 2012. This problem never occured in our previous releases. The program is supposed to loop through all entities in paperspace and check for entities that are a acBlockReference object.
Below is a simplified version of my program. I get an Element Not Found error on the line noted. Again, this has never happened in any of our previous versions of AutoCAD. Just started with 2012.

error 1321. The installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:Program FilesAutodeskMaya2012PYTHON_LICENSE
Then the following message:
Fatal error during installation. #229: failed to run AdskExecuteSequence
Then "Failed to initialize Autodesk Maya 2012"
And then it the installation exits itself out.
I have a 32bit Windows computer.
I happily used Gimp 2.4 and 2.6 for quite some time on my laptop.Now I have downloaded and installed Gimp 2.8 it won't open any files for me - when I try to open a file it returns an error message "no disc in the drive" about a disc drive I don't believe I have.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (two weeks later) and the same bug recurred.
