I am working on a project that requires a number of raster images to be compiled in a base file and then x-ref'ed into titleblock sheets. The base file is not giving me any problems but the files it is x-ref'ed into keep giving me fatal errors and shutting down AutoCAD. I am working in 2012 LT. I was able to find a HotFix for this problem for 2008 but have not been able to find a fix for my version.

In version 2010 I could create a PDF and the raster image would show up. We recently upgraded to Map 3D 2012 and although the raster shows up in the preview, it does NOT get plotted to the PDF.

I have set all the drawings I want to print in the Sheet Set Manager and I publish everything to plotter for unattended plotting. However, when publishing the same drawings to PDF using the SSM, all raster images do no print. If I open each drawing and plot the same layout on its own, everything prints just fine. So I think there is something wrong when publishing through the SSM.
The funny thing is that before using Autocad 2012 I was using version 2010 and everything worked as expected, the raster images were printed no matter where I was printing from.
I have a set of drawings that are dwg's that have a dwf referenced/attached in. When I try to print, I get the following error.
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation reading0x2573d000 Exception At 4f6c133fh (the numbers differ between drawings) I can plot all other CAD files with no problems, just this set.
I am running acad lt 2012 on windows 7- at acad startup I am receiving a fatal error message
"unhandled access violation reading 0x008 exception at 4135104h"
Windows updates are all current.
We have AutoCad LT 2012 version. We encounter fatal error when we save the drawing. we cannot finish our job because everytime we save our work it will show a messsage FATAL ERROR.

I have repairing both AutoCAD and .Net 4, I also did a regedit on the CommunicationCenter.

When i am using 3dsmax design 2012, it always display "error creating BMP" after click RENDER button. I must reduce the resolution so that i can render. How can I solve that ? Is it related to RAM or Display card ?

I have successfully draped an orthophoto over a DEM in Map3D but the resulting quality of the the image is so poor it is unusable. I have attached a couple screen shots of the 2D and resulting 3D images. Is the resolution in 3D dependent on the 'resolution' of the DEM? The orthophoto is 10cm resolution.
I have tried REGEN and to Resample Raster but I haven't had any luck.
I've rebooted, re-installed and nothing changes the fact that when i try and insert a raster image the program locks right up.
I can go back 2009 version and have no problems inserting the same raster. The raster is a Mr.Sid format file
After installing Update 2.1 for Civil 3D, Raster doesn't seem to be working. When I go to use a Raster function, I get

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using MAP3D 2013 and trying to create a raster image file for use in anther document (the document will not accept a dwg or dwf file, only a raster image).
When I use the JPGOUT (or PNGOUT or BMPOUT or TIFOUT) command I can select all of the objects and viewport; there is no problem creating the file. But when I open up the raster image, only the viewport outline and objects in paperspace have come accross; the viewport appears empty.
In MAP, the viewport is turned on and I can see everything as intended.

I keep on getting the fatal error messages like FATAL ERROR: unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at 1a89fc50h, when doing simple commands such as move, copy or selecting objects. It has also occurred when I've tried to save. They can occur up to 4 times a day .
I have tried emptying my temp folders and I've ensured my copy of AutoCAD 2011 LT is up to date but these are only temporary solutions as a few days later they will appear again.
I get a fatal error (attached) when I hover over an mpolygon in a dwg file (also attached).
Map 3D 2011, SP2, Win 7 pro 64 bit.
I have tried audit - it did not fix the problem.
Just installed Map 3D 2012 and Bluebeam Revu cad version. Restarted m'puter and Message pops up, then CAD closes. Very counter productive.

Due to a "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000417h" my AutoCAD 2014 crashes every time I try to print a dwg to pdf.
It seems to only occur if I print one of any number of files within a particular/specific folder.
Things I am still able to do:
I can publish the very same drawings to pdf.
I can print a dwg to pdf if it is within a different folder.
I am using AutoCad 2000 on Windows XP - and have had no problems for years. today - I went to print out a drawing, and when clicking on plot - or plot preview, it gave me: Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 5e2c36h. I thought it was just this one file, but none of the existing drawings I open will print. And they have always printed.

I've set up a drop down menu with various page setups coming from another file (-psetupin).
If I initiate a page setup for our Plotter or Printer, everything works fine. If I initiate a page setup for the 'dwg to pdf.pc3', I get the error listed above. I don't understand why, it worked fine not too long ago. Also, if I manually create a page setup with the same 'dwg to pdf.pc3' it works fine...

View 5 Replies View RelatedI normally am a Civil 3D person. Learning something new as the company I work for has been tasked with creating some GIS maps for a client. Still have only a couple of months experience with Map 3D. The current task at hand is creating a map of our client's district boundary to replace an old exhibit hanging in client's office. I used mapiinsert to insert 64 MrSID raster images, then data connected some SDF file for the boundary, major thoroughfares, and tributaries. The overall aerial imagery, after clipping, is about 11 miles by 17.25 miles. I am planning to plot this on a 48" x 76" sheet of paper at a 1200 scale.
The problem is that I get about 1/8" of an aerial image and 75-3/4" of blank paper when I try to plot. I have tried to reduce the raster image quality and bumped up the Rasterpercent and Rasterthreshold system variables to their maximum settings with no improvement. Images show when I do a preview, but do not plot out. I also tried creating a PDF but I get the same result with a thin strip of aerial when I do that. I use Bluebeam for PDF.

Yes, I know the HP is only a 44" plotter, but I am plotting to fit a 36" roll so that we can view a check plot before we forward the file to our reprographics company for full size plots. I have also tried different settings on the plotter but nothing I have tried has had any impact.
I just loaded AutoCAD 2013.... when I printed out a drawing which included a picture .bmp file format, only the picture comes out completely black. It's looks like the raster images printed were reversed. It appear as a negative image.

I started the drawing I have been working on for the last couple of days. I went to save it and this is what I got:

I have Autocad LT 2007 running on a PC with Windows 7.I am having problem with creating layers or just working with layers.I get this error message:
Fatal Error: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 7585c41fh
The second part of the message "at 7585c41fh" is different sometimes, but the first part is always the same.Then Autocad shuts down.
I am currently using ACAD Civil 3D 2014. When I am in paper space and try to plot I get a Fatal Error before I even get to the plot menu. This is only happening in 2 specific drawings and I've done a purge, audit and drawing recovery. With 8GB of Ram there should be more then enough to at least plot a 5MB drawing.
