When I try to plot to pdf at the highest quality while in a layout, the file takes a long time to create and will be rather large but when I open the PDF there is nothing in it. It is all white! This typically happens when I try to create a plot that is larger than 11x17. I can send to the plotter and plot out a hard copy but no PDF.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working on a project that requires a number of raster images to be compiled in a base file and then x-ref'ed into titleblock sheets. The base file is not giving me any problems but the files it is x-ref'ed into keep giving me fatal errors and shutting down AutoCAD. I am working in 2012 LT. I was able to find a HotFix for this problem for 2008 but have not been able to find a fix for my version.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn PC_71, While ploting(creating the pdf via autocad) the pdf,its everytime coming in portait format but we want in landscape format.
On PC_71, if we create the pdf of any document by our Adobe pdf printer PRT13 then its creating pdf properly for both portait and landscape format . But for any autocad drawing file , the pdf printer PRT13 is not creating in landscape format.
I also cross-checked all plot setting with other proper working PC , its same then also its behave differently.
And if we create pdf on any other PC then its creating the pdf properly for any drawing but not on PC_71.
Also 1 more typical point I noticed that if we delete any pdf file from PC_71, then after refreshing its again appeared on same location.
Note - We are using:
Software : Autocad 2012-64Bit , Naviswork 2013 , Inventor Ultimate 2014-64 Bit , Bentley Autoplant V8i - SS4 version : 8.11.9.140 ,MS-Office 2010 - 64 Bit.
Hardware : Workstation Dell Precision T3600
When i am using 3dsmax design 2012, it always display "error creating BMP" after click RENDER button. I must reduce the resolution so that i can render. How can I solve that ? Is it related to RAM or Display card ?

I downloaded my correct size template from CreateSpace, opened it with Paint.net, trimmed the excess white (I was told it was okay to do this) and started a bit of the design. Before getting too far in, I decided to take a look at the dimensions on the finished PDF.
I downloaded PrimoPDF and clicked print. With the "fit picture to frame" box checked, the right and left edges are cut off. When I uncheck the box, I get white space at the top and bottom. I'm afraid with the white space at the time and bottom, that will translate to the print book cover.

So basically i have designed the top of a paper plane and have completed the top design which i now want to clip into the template using the clipping mask tool. I have used it exactly how it is supposed to'
1. firstly getting my shape that i want to use to clip exactly how i want it
2. then getting my image which i want to place under my first shape to use the clipping mask with
3. align it in place and bring my "shape" to the front and image to the back then using the selection tool i select all objects then click objects> clipping mask> make
and for some reason it clips it but the image that i wastring to clip just becomes a white fill...

I am using a pdf underlay to trace over and whenever the crosshair or pickbox enters a white area it does not shift color to black to remain visible. This leaves me picking randomly trying to guess where the crosshair or pickbox is. If I change the 3dconfig to disable hardware acceleration, the color shifts, but the pdf is whited out. Not to mention the fact that by disabling hardware acceleration, I'm wasting the expensive video card on the machine. Is there a workaround? updated driver? service pack?

I'm using PSE8. I was using Filter>Render>Clouds and it was working for me. I must have done something because the clouds that are rendered are black & white not Blue and white. My photo is of course a color image. How I can correct this or what I need to do to get back to the default setting that will render blue & white instead of black and white?

And that there are no color shifts. I had version 6 at work and its fine, when I converted from RGB to CMYK the colors just got a little washed out but the whites remained white.
I've just set up a new macbook air from a time machine back up and for some reason my cursors in illustrator 5.5 are white making it very difficult to use. All was and is still fine on my macbook pro with the same version.

There is no white at all in the color areas and white seems to show as this cream color everywhere - affecting how I view images. However, when I print the white is white.
