I'm using VSProX4 in English, while my native language is Dutch . I wonder if it's possible to change the language to Dutch(NL) and if it is,how to do that.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have purchased a Sony DCR TRV480 to play Hi8 tapes and convert to Digital Video. My camera came with a USB cable that plugs into the camera in the video jack. I want to capture the video using VSProX4. What do I need to do to capture it? Do I need a driver for the USB. I dont seem to have a firewire jack on this computer but it does have a 1394 labeled jack in the back. It has several USB jacks.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have heard it takes some time to make a smart proxy file, It seems to take a very long time although I dont know what is reasonable with my computer, intel2.2g proc-4g ram-64bit-win7. The files are h264 mp4 720x1280HD 60fps. Is it because they are mp4 files? I use WMM6 and have to convert to .wmv but editing is fine afterward. I have also tried Video Pad and there seems to be a short wait for loading but nowhewre near as long as VS. Is there a better format for Video Studio than mp4.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I am unable to burn DVDs with my current computer drive I want to burn them on another computer using the VSProX4 software. Also the video quality of the DVD I burned on this computer is poor. What is the easiest way to burn them on another computer? Should I create DVD folders or create disc image or just copy the files in the Corel VSPro folder on Documents and transfer it to the new computer. I rendered a video file from my project and it is saved in my projects folder in documents.
View 14 Replies View RelatedJust installed ProX4. When I make a title - either single or multiple - and try to apply a Border/Shadow/Transparency to the text, I get an error message that says . . .
"Encountered An Improper Argument"
Making the title was the ONLY thing in the project.
I'm about halfway through my 30 day trial of VS Pro X4, and starting to feel a little more comfortable with the software, but a few things are still puzzling me. Granted I've only scratched the surface of the SW capabilities so far.
I took the plunge and got a new Panasonic HDC-TM90K HD video recorder to replace my old 8mm analog Sony. I've only had the opportunity to use it several times, so far so good.
The Panasonic camera comes with HD Writer AE 3.0 software. Pretty rudimentary compared to VS Pro X4; does the basics, trimming, titles, transitions etc. Not bad, it works, but definitely not as sophisticated as VS Pro X4. However I need software that can capture the 8mm tapes I'm converting, which the Panasonic SW cannot, really don't want to learn/use two software packages so hence trying to focus on VS Pro X4. See thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=41255 for my question re: mpeg compression.
Using the Panny HD Writer SW I was able to capture and burn AVCHD DVD's from the Panny camera SW without issue, not too difficult considering this is my firt time doing all this stuff. AVCHD DVD's play just fine on my Sony Blu-Ray.
I tried capturing the same video content from the Panny camera with VS Pro X4 and could not. VS Pro X4 is stating there is no camera attached. I believe the Panny SW is hijacking the USB connection first and hence is controlling the connection to the camera. I tried looking for some services that the Panny SW has running and closed the auto-run of the Panny SW, but still no luck. I haven't tried uninstalling the Panny SW, that's next.
I was however able to import the files from the Panny camcorder using the import function in VS Pro X4 by selecting the files I wanted. Imported files are the exact same size as the files imported in the Panny HD Writer AE 3.0 SW.
Was able to make a simple little video by adding a title, couple of transitions between clips etc, couple of chapter markers. All went fairly well. Then did "Share > Create Disc", used the default (only) disc template that came in the VS Pro X4 SW trial, selected AVCHD and burn disc, no issues, until I went to play the disc in my Sony Blu-Ray. Once the action in the video picked up and there was significant motion in the video the video started to break up, don't know the technical name for it, digital artifacts maybe? It doesn't look like the deinterlacing examples I've seen, which appear to be unaligned thin lines, this is more blotchy, like blocks of data not being filled in.
So then I tried it again and selected 2 pass conversion, this time it worked, which is good, but does that need to be done anytime your burning HD content to a AVCHD DVD?
I just bought a new pc with windows 7 home premium 64-bit,but I run the program(3ds max design 2012 64-bit) and though it is installed correctly,it doesn't start, it freezes when its starting, any error messages appears.
Is it made to work only with windows 7 professional?(I mean the 7 editions? )can I upgrade and then the program will work fine?
Any good special effect software that runs well with VS Pro x4?

View 3 Replies View Relatedbeen working with this CS2 on my PC here at work for sometime but as time goes on it seems to working less and less like it use too..
Take for instance I use the color picker tool and the whole program freaks out as if its trying to allocate ram up. It flickers.. then I wait.. it flickers some more.. and still I wait.. it looks as if its done freaking out, but then flickers somemore and I wait.. total I spend up to 5 mins waiting for CS2 to stop freaking out sometimes, then out of the blue it will begin to work again, but only for a short period of time. Now here is the kicker I am running PS alone.. no other programs, I even end un-needed tasks from taskmanager.
So far I found out the fallow actions makes this occure.
Color Picker.
Closeing Files.
Applying a transform.
Adding Text.
My system specs are
Windows XP Service Pack 2 with latest updates from windowsupdate.com
P4 3.00GHz.
2 GB of Ram.
256MB ATI card.
75-G HD.
My CS2 PS is
Version 9.0.2
Have all the latest update from Adobe Update Center.
After installing an update to Illustrator 17.1 from the Cloud a few days ago I've noticed there is a significant hit in the performance. It runs really slow! Even with simple documents with just a few layers. I opened more complex ones and it's super painful to work. I have to wait a few seconds when selecting or moving a layer. I really want to go back to CC 17.0, As for the system I have the newest Mac Pro form the previous generation (before the trash can model) - Intel Xeon 6-core 2x2.4 with 28 gb of memory ram. Running Mac OS X 10.7.5. Graphic card: ATI Radeon HD 5870.
View 6 Replies View RelatedA couple of years ago I bought VS 11.5 and had absolutely no problems with it. Two weekends ago, my computer (Windows XP pro) blew up - I have now installed it (VS 11.5) again on my new computer, which runs Windows 7. When I double click the icon to load it, the following warning box appears:
Cannot initialize the application. The screen resolution is too small to play the video. The screen resolution must be set to at least 1024 x 768. Followed by an "OK" box, which if clicked, gets rid of it.
Clicking START, CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY, ADJUST RESOLUTION, it tells me that the resolution is 1280 x 960, both of which are greater than the minimum advised.
Do any of you know if Videostudio X5 is compatible with Windows 8? I currently have it installed on a Windows 7 system, and I am thinking about upgrading to Windows 8.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just installed windows 7, and my good old VS 9 stopped producing sound. I tried the compatibility check, but that didn't do any good.
The very same V.S.9 worked fine with XP.
I have need having trouble with cs6 running slowly on my iMac. The computer runs fine with all other applications but will quickly run up several gigs of page outs when handling camera raw and photoshop files, it starts to creep along after a short while. Apple ran "stress tests" on the computer and everything is perfectly functional. I used to have no issues with cs5 and the computer should be able to handle the task easily. I have tried to reinstall photoshop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running Photoshop CS4 on Vista with 4G RAM. Even when working on a relatively small picture (34M/69M), I get an error when trying to use Quick Select. The message says "could not complete your request because there is not enough memory". I am not running any other applications and I am allowing Photoshop to use 80% of my RAM. I have a 700G scratch disk. What gives?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I double-click SETUP.EXE to install the program, nothing happens. It shows up in the task manager, but it doesn't do anything.
If I run it on my laptop, the install starts without any issues. But I don't want it on my laptop. And it can't seem to run on my desktop.
I even tried creating a fresh user account to install it from there
Lightroom 5 on Windows 7 32 Bit and 8 Gigabytes of memory (more than the 32 Bit system can use) permanently runs out of memory when doing some more complex edits on a RAW file, especially when exporting to 16 Bit TIFF. The RAW files were created by cameras with 10 up to 16 megapixel sensors with bit depths between 12 and 14.
After exporting one or two images to 16 Bit uncompressed TIFF an error message "Not enough memory" will be displayed and only a Lightroom restart solves that - for the next one to two exports. If an image has much brush stroke edits, every additional stroke takes more and more time to see the result until the image disappears followed by the same "Not enough memory" error message.
A tab character in the XMP sidecar file is *not* the reason (ensured that), as mentioned in a post. It seems that Lightroom in general does not allocate enough memory and frees too less/late allocated.
fix that bug, it's not productive permanently quit and restart Lightroom when editing/exporting a few RAW files. Versions prior to Lightroom 4 did not have that bug.
I'm using video studio pro x3 and windows 7.
When trying to create a disc it opens dvd factory 2010 and does everything Ok but when I try to burn the project it gets about 95% through the burn process and fails. It seems like it is putting the files on but failing in the "writing lead out" phase. I've tried 3 different dvd burns to make sure that isn't the issue. I can create a file and then use nero to burn the disc fine but not when going through VS pro x3/DVD factory
I have a new computer with Windows 7. I just loaded VS x2 with all the patches and extra content. I can create projects fine but when I try to "share" and create a disk nothing happens. I clock on the "create disk" button and a small square grey box appears next to the button but nothing else happends.
I have the most current Windows 7 drivers & updates and drivers for my disk drive. It worked fine in Windows XP.
I have used X2 for a couple years, but recently bought a new PC with Windows 7. I finished a project (successfully), then after finding and downloading the Windows 7 patches, I was able to burn the project. However, at some point roughly 5 minutes in, all the audio is ahead of the video by about a half a second, and remains that way for the remainder of the project. Watching the project in X2, it works fine, so it is a burn issue. I tried normalizing audio, but that doesn't work. It just seems like a software glitch.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my computer to Windows 8 from Windows XP with a clean install. I've installed VS X5 & SP1 on it. I now find I can't create a custom profile either by copying an existing one or building a new one from scratch. I think Windows 8 is protecting something but not sure.
Make Movie Template Manager
New
select Windows Media Video for file type and enter a name
Select Profile tab
Click Customize button on bottom
Now in Manage Profiles
select a profile then click copy
error message "The profile could not be saved. Restart the encoder and try again"
Try to create new profile upon saving error "Access is denied 0x80070005" then click ok then "An error has occured. If the error continues, consider reloading the session file, starting a new session, or restarting the encoder."Maybe this also happens on Windows 7 but I don't have that. This works fine on Windows XP.
I installed the 30-day trial version of VideoStudio Pro X5 (VSX5_Pro_TBYB.exe (1 431 816 336 bytes) from [URL] on my new Windows 8 laptop. Everything seemed to work fine until i started to experience problems with "hanging splash screen" during start-up. To solve this, I uninstalled VS Pro X5. Now, I am not able to re-install the software.
The installation seems to work OK until the EUL-screen. When checking "I accept the terms...", and pressing the Next-button, nothing happens.
I've tried (with no luck):
* Manually uninstalling/removing according to this
* Created a local new user and tried to install X5 on this
* Checking "zombie" security issues according to this
I'm having major problem with trying to record a screen capture. It's my first time trying corel videostudio. When I click record screen capture region the program minimizes but nothing else pops up and there is no frame on my monitor region. I've tried every compatibility mode, and it does the exact same thing. no recorder bar pops up.

Don't bother checking the specs on my profile, as this post is about another computer.I just have two questions for now to try and minimize time to correct the problem.
Question 1: Can the VSPro X2 Windows 7 compatibility patch be installed before installing the program?
Question 2: Should compatibility mode be tried before installing a compatibility patch? Or should the compatibility patch be installed first?
Background: I have Service Pack 1 and have already downloaded the VS Pro X2 compatibility patch for Windows 7 (UVS125_Win7_Patch.exe [URL]
I bought VSP X2 a couple of years ago for daughter( living in another location) using Win XP at the time. Now she has Windows 7 notebook, and when she tries to install VSP X2 she gets an error something like this: "application incorrect...xstrace.exe" (I am in process of trying to get exact error message) Device information: Will get if needed.Program version: VSPro X2Patches/updates that have been installed. Daughter has SP1 but not installed yet because she cannot install the main program. As noted above I have downloaded and sent her the Windows 7 compatibility patch, but need to know if she can install it before installing the program.
Ive recently been upgraded from a Laptop to a pc at work with windows 7
