VideoStudio :: Recorder Bar NOT Popping Up Windows 7
Sep 2, 2012
I'm having major problem with trying to record a screen capture. It's my first time trying corel videostudio. When I click record screen capture region the program minimizes but nothing else pops up and there is no frame on my monitor region. I've tried every compatibility mode, and it does the exact same thing. no recorder bar pops up.
Sometimes this happens when I'm working with photoshop : first it doesn't do anything for a moment because he is processing something (I don't have loads of RAM) then suddenly like 5 help-windows open... I wonder: is there any way to prevent it?: is there a shortcut I must prevent pushing? some settings? It's not that important as I can still do everything, but it is very irritating...
Obviously this is a change from CS5 to CS6 and I don't like it. I would like to know how to change it back. When I have a bunch of tabs open in a window and then minimize them because I am working in yet another new window... every time I return to PS6, that minimized window keeps opening up on top of the project I really want to work with. Why doesn't it stay minimized (like it used to in CS5)? Is there a way to go back to the way that works in CS6?
I'm running VSP X5 Ultimate with SP1 on a Toshiba i7, 8GB RAM and plenty of HD free space. When using the Screen Capture function and, in Settings, switching to system audio, I get a message that no system audio is detected and that I should enable this on my computer. I'm assuming that "system audio" is the feed to the speakers (both of which are working perfectly) and I've been over everything in both Control Panel>Sound and Control Panel>Realtek (not much there) and can find nothing which would "enable system audio". I've never been able to record with the system audio. I searched the VSP forum with multiple iterations of the problem with no luck.
How can I get system audio working in the screen capture?
I have CS5 and began a file yesterday only to have multiple problems today when I tried to open it. First it said,
"File is not readable"
Yet when I opened it on my schools computer it was able to open. Then my other file did open but when I tried to save it it said,
"When spot colors are used with transparency, changing them to process colors outside of illustrator can generate unexpected results."
Then when I cancelled that it began to read,
"Saving to a legacy format may cause some changes to your text layout and disable some editing features when the document is read back in"
I don't really understand how I could fix this issue because obviously its the file inside. Now I did have a lot of imaged in the file that I made in photoshop where I took away the background, made it transparent then saved as a png. Is that the issue? Most of my images on the file are .png and were edited with photoshop.
I take hundreds of photos in burst-mode against a green screen. Using photoshop I made a selection with the magic wand, I inversed the selection, copy and pasted the selection to a new 'empty' layer, deleted the background, then save the result as a PNG file to preserve the transparency.
Obviously I need to have a batch process to do this! The PhotoPaint script recorder would seem to be ideal for this but I'm having a tough time figuring it out. I've managed to mask and copy my selection to a new layer (confusingly called 'object' in Photopaint) and save it. I can't record deleting the background for some reason, neither can I successfully save it as a PNG, on top of that it's now it is saying my file names are invalid! Is there any way of doing what I want with this program?
A way to Change the color of an xref layer via command line by selecting the layer and not by knowing the layer name? What I am trying to do is come up with an action recorder file that will allow you to change an xref layer color.
Using (setq Filetab (vla-get-files (vla-get-preferences (vlax-get-acad-object))))(vlax-dump-object Filetab) returns most pathname as specified under Options. However, the Action Recorder path is missing. How do I retrieve this path?
every time i try to draw a marquee or draw a shape in ps6, a small info box appears next to my curser. it is incredibly distracting, and i cannot figure out how to get rid of it.
When I start Photoshop, I get the message, "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video adapter manufacturer's website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences."
I have updated everything but this message still pops up everytime I open Photoshop CS4. Not only that, I tried to enable the GPU enhancements via Preferences but my Photoshop keeps crashing every time I try to click or do anything.
For the longest time, when I open ID, the Info panel is there. Now suddenly the same thing is happening in PS. This is driving me nuts; I don't want the Info panel there when I open the programs. How can I prevent this?
Corel A.RM. has been popping up and forcing Corel to close. This has been happening at leas once or twice a day. I'm using X6 on WindowsXP. what A.R.M. is and possible reasons why this is happening?
I need to edit the scales and add custom ones, but when i type _SCALELISTEDIT, nothing happens, I know that its selected as my layout isn't any longer, but I can't find the darn window where the scales are located. I've also tried using the menu as well. This is for ALL drawings. New and already created.
Any way to use text and write in gimp without the text options popping up when you are writing.
I am asking because I would like to record a video using gimp and will be typing certain things and I really don't want the text options there while I'm typing.
So, this might be a silly question. I have lightroom on one monitor and when I drag it over (the program window) to my other monitor it pops (changes color) after about 1/2 a second. There is a shift in color. I'm wondering if it is the monitors ICC profile or something weird like that? Both of my monitors are samsungs (different models) and they are both using the Samsung natural color profile.
Twice now using PSP X4 I have got a message encouraging me to complete a 5 minute survey. I take the survey, press submit at the end, and get an annoying window to a Corel X4 ad page with no browser controls. The please take a survey message window is still there underneath. When I close the Corel X4 ad window, is asks if I really want to cancel?
I've got a 2 bone chain that I have attached a spline IK to with a flex modifier on the spline. This was working pretty well however, once I skinned the mesh to these bones I noticed that when I rotated the 2nd bone it would seem to pop on a different axis. It was hard to spot at first because it popped between 2 frames, popped 90 degrees and seems to happen at the same rotation amount (can't recall exact degree at the moment).
I turned off the flex modifier and it is still popping so I'm assuming it is from the spline IK. Is there a way to prevent this?
I am having a problem while rigging a series of characters modeled by my company. I have set up a reverse foot and a no-flip knee (Art of Rigging Vol. 1's method). The leg functions properly, my attributes work fine, but I am not using a pole vector for the knee and when I raise the foot control the knee pops out to the side.
I never use a pole vector, I use a knee twist attribute. However, even after experimenting with a simple pole vector constraint on the ankle/leg IK to a locator, this still happens. I have had to counter animate the knee on the last 4 characters because of this.
Unfortunately, these models aren't in a true T-pose, the legs are wider than the hips, and the toes and knees are pointed outward. I create the bones, then orient the rotation down the chain so the orientation is correct--- I'm wondering if this is happening because the leg bones aren't going straight up and down, but more trying to follow the contours of the model. And no matter if I use a no-flip knee, a pole vector, or what, the knee STILL pops out to the side. It's making animating these models a pain in the butt because I'm constantly counter animating the knee so the leg is straight on simple things like run cycles.
When exporting a file to jpeg the dialog box that normally appears and lets you select the quality of the jpeg is not popping up but the files saves but I now have no options in saving the file.
A couple of years ago I bought VS 11.5 and had absolutely no problems with it. Two weekends ago, my computer (Windows XP pro) blew up - I have now installed it (VS 11.5) again on my new computer, which runs Windows 7. When I double click the icon to load it, the following warning box appears:
Cannot initialize the application. The screen resolution is too small to play the video. The screen resolution must be set to at least 1024 x 768. Followed by an "OK" box, which if clicked, gets rid of it.
Clicking START, CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY, ADJUST RESOLUTION, it tells me that the resolution is 1280 x 960, both of which are greater than the minimum advised.
Do any of you know if Videostudio X5 is compatible with Windows 8? I currently have it installed on a Windows 7 system, and I am thinking about upgrading to Windows 8.
When trying to create a disc it opens dvd factory 2010 and does everything Ok but when I try to burn the project it gets about 95% through the burn process and fails. It seems like it is putting the files on but failing in the "writing lead out" phase. I've tried 3 different dvd burns to make sure that isn't the issue. I can create a file and then use nero to burn the disc fine but not when going through VS pro x3/DVD factory
I have a new computer with Windows 7. I just loaded VS x2 with all the patches and extra content. I can create projects fine but when I try to "share" and create a disk nothing happens. I clock on the "create disk" button and a small square grey box appears next to the button but nothing else happends.
I have the most current Windows 7 drivers & updates and drivers for my disk drive. It worked fine in Windows XP.
I have used X2 for a couple years, but recently bought a new PC with Windows 7. I finished a project (successfully), then after finding and downloading the Windows 7 patches, I was able to burn the project. However, at some point roughly 5 minutes in, all the audio is ahead of the video by about a half a second, and remains that way for the remainder of the project. Watching the project in X2, it works fine, so it is a burn issue. I tried normalizing audio, but that doesn't work. It just seems like a software glitch.
I upgraded my computer to Windows 8 from Windows XP with a clean install. I've installed VS X5 & SP1 on it. I now find I can't create a custom profile either by copying an existing one or building a new one from scratch. I think Windows 8 is protecting something but not sure.
Make Movie Template Manager New select Windows Media Video for file type and enter a name Select Profile tab Click Customize button on bottom Now in Manage Profiles select a profile then click copy error message "The profile could not be saved. Restart the encoder and try again"
Try to create new profile upon saving error "Access is denied 0x80070005" then click ok then "An error has occured. If the error continues, consider reloading the session file, starting a new session, or restarting the encoder."Maybe this also happens on Windows 7 but I don't have that. This works fine on Windows XP.
I installed the 30-day trial version of VideoStudio Pro X5 (VSX5_Pro_TBYB.exe (1 431 816 336 bytes) from [URL] on my new Windows 8 laptop. Everything seemed to work fine until i started to experience problems with "hanging splash screen" during start-up. To solve this, I uninstalled VS Pro X5. Now, I am not able to re-install the software.
The installation seems to work OK until the EUL-screen. When checking "I accept the terms...", and pressing the Next-button, nothing happens.
I've tried (with no luck):
* Manually uninstalling/removing according to this
* Created a local new user and tried to install X5 on this
* Checking "zombie" security issues according to this
