I've VideoStudio x5 and I try to delete volume control points from my clip in the Sound Mixer. Tooltip says "Delete this control by dragging outside the clip" but it doesn't work.
View 2 RepliesAlthough I have used Ulead VideoStudio occasionally over a few years, with moderate success (as I am a complete beginner at video editing), one problem has occurred quite often, and I have not been able to find out how to correct it.
It is this: when I burn a DVD, then put the DVD into a DVD player attached to a TV set, the volume - set at a comfortable listening level on the TV ( in one case, the level is defined at 40) - is very uncomfortably loud, so much so that the TV volume needs to be reduced to 15-20 before it is tolerable.
Is there any way of controlling the volume during the DVD burn?
I am wondering if there is another method to control volume levels on the audio and voice over tracks. I am thinking particularly about a method to easily (automatically) reduce the volume of the background music when a voiceover starts and raising it again after the voiceover is finished.
I find the existing process of capturing a volume node fiddly and, for me, a bit hit and miss.
why I'm having trouble with VSX5 Pro's "Sound Mixer?" It isn't working, and I don't know if my issue is one that has been reported already, or not. In my timeline (under 'voice track') I have an audio file which I separated from the main video file. The main video file is now 'muted' so that only my voice track plays the sounds. Note: I copied the same voice track and pasted 3 copies of it only to lengthen the overall playtime, but they are each on the same voice track.
The problem I'm having is that the volume adjustment settings don't work. After selecting the first segment on my voice track, I then move the slider up to maximum volume (from level 0 to 12), and then I right-click on it to save it as "default," but it ALWAYS jumps back to volume level zero (0)! It does the same thing even if I don't "right-click" and save it. The setting never stays where I want it to. What else can I do to increase the volume of the sounds on my 3 segments in my voice track, and have them stay at level 12?
EDITED: Also, is there some way I can save/export my "voice track" to an external sound file and/or convert it into a different sound format? I haven't seen a way to do that.
I've just bought VideoStudio Pro X4 and I want to mute the sound on my clips as I'm going to have music playing instead. On page 115 of the manual it says I will find the clip volume control in the Music and Voice tab. I have been all over the program interface and clicked on virtually everything but I cannot find a Music and Voice tab. In the end I had to split the audio for each clip and delete it. how to find the Clip audio volume control?

The volume is just playing at the level recorded with no way for me to turn down or up.I performed a disc repair and that didn't solve the problem.
I have a couple points that were part of an import event (data from a previous project) which I want to assign as control points for an incoming traverse, is there any way to assign those as control points? I can't seem to find a way to do that other than perhaps re-importing the specific points as control points and overwriting the existing ones.

I have a shape in illustrator CS6 that I'm trying to edit. When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.

I need to multiple select two control points on a box. Control, shift, other key combinations, etc. are not working. Control works in other apps; don't know why this is going on.

In the screen grab here, you can see that "errors" in gradient smoothness coincide with control points..or maybe between certain control points....is there a way to prevent this error from happening?

How to set 2 adaptive points (AP) to control the position and diameter of a circle. Have tried setting a ref plane driven by circle dia param but justs results in overconstrain when flexed. Is it possible to a) lock the centre to an AP and lock redius to AP?

For example in Shape Tool creating a horizontal line (click and somewhere beside CTRL - click), at me it creates control points at the end of the lines plus two ones on the line.
That is super anyway because immediately can be seen where is the 33% of the line length, but could be set somehow this that how many control point should be as default?
When I make my rooms for a building, I want them to be a specific distance from the previous wall, say 10'. But when Revit measures the walls, it measures from the center line of the wall and not the edges. How do I correct this so it is measuring from the nearest edge so I'm not constantly having to think about how thick the wall was on each side and manually add 5 inchs or whatever it is in order to get a solid 10' room.
Also, when placing rooms, I have found that the program keeps making the reference distances from points halfway across the house. For example, if I want to make a room 10'x 10', and go to place the top wall of the room. If there is another wall across the hall or something that may intersect if you extend an imaginary line, the reference dimensions won't be 10' from the bottom wall, but it would be something like 4' 5 7/16" from that other room that has nothing to do with the wall I'm trying to place. Does that make sense? How do I turn off or control the meaningless reference points?
When I select an element, in this case a building, to make changes, the entire file is selected instead of the building. There is nothing to ungroup when this happens.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Curves, when you want to see the deepest blacks and whitest whites, you hold down Option while clicking and dragging the balck and white sliders – and the dragging doesn't allow accurate control. It's okay, but I would find it better if I could nudge the black and white sliders from the keyboard while seeing the effect on the image. Is that possible when using Curves as an adjustment layer?

I 've added a Link Constraint to the salmon colored component which is linked to the red cylinder pin at far left. This pin has a Path Constraint to an Arc path which is orientated left-to-right and arching up. The pin at right has a line Path Constraint that moves down and to the right. Still image 01 shows the retracted position. Still image 02 shows the animation at 50%, the Fowler hinge follows nicely the path of the left most pin quite well. Notice no movement occurs in the down direction that would be imposed by the right pin - if it worked/was set up properly.
Any way of viewing the coordinates of the Control Vertices (Control Points) of 3d or 2d NURBS Surfaces. I tried to use the "properties" of the 3d NURBS surface that i designed but i could not find them anywhere..
i would also like to ask if it is even possible to export these coordinates to txt or even more to Excel.
Running C3d 2012 here, but haven't used prior versions. I'm using fieldbooks to import survey data. If there is an error of some kind and I "Re-import event" for the fieldbook, then the occupied points from the field book are deleted out of the survey database and I get the resulting error of "point invalid" during the import. My fix is to go into my control drawing and import the control points from the drawing into the survey database then run the "re-import" again.

I tried shift click on the first clip and then the same on the last one to group them all. They group but I can't change the volume for all of it. Do I have to change volume separately on each clip?

how I can add more volume to curved object surface? Say for example I have a plastic cup.You can think of this as cylinder object ,which was the shelled out using the shell tool and then had its base sealed.
Now at certain parts, I would like to increase the thickness and then blend it the rest of the surface(may be chamfer its edges) .
At certain parts on curved surface I would like to add an extra mm, I think if the surface was flat I would just sketch the shape, then extrude it by few mm and smooth the edges by doing a chamfer
But how can this be done on surface that is curved? Or multi curved for edges?
How can I delete some points that show in my sketch like these (see the attachments). by the way, they are related to sketch constrains?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen Replacing Model references I get a lot of orphaned/unattached corrupted Dimensions,Leaders, Centerlines baloons etc.Fixing the bulk of it is not a problem, and is a trade off between re-attaching, or deleting and re-doing the leader/dimensions etc.
The only frustrating thing is the centerlines and center points. Some of them HAVE to be deleted via the Design Doctor. (This is a 5 click operation, which starts taking its toll)Is there perhaps an easier /quicker way to delete all the "Unattached points"
I have a couple of hundred 3D Polylines which have point crosses at each vertex. Any way to remove these point crosses that fall on the 3D Polylines.
(IF 3D point vertex = any 3d Polyline vertex THEN delete)
Reason I can't just filter out the points and delete is that there are points that don't fall on Polylines which I want to keep. All points are on the same layer. Polylines are on various layers. Data is from a 3D topographical survey.
