I have a video file created from one of my old VHS tapes. Unfortunately the display shows two rows of tracking lines about two inches from the top and bottom. Can VS ProX2 filter them out?
View 4 RepliesNew to this video editing game, just have a question regarding 4.3 and 16.9. i have a Canon XM2 which has a setting in the menu for 16.9 wide screen format. When this is selected on the camera the view finder shows a distored image (squshed). I have also found a setting that when 16.9 is turned off you can display 2 horizontal lines on the display. my question is am i better off shooting footage with the 16.9 turned off on the camera and then using Videostudio pro x4 to create the 16.9 format(if this can be done).

For example, when drawing a simple rectangle after drawing (2) sides, If I go to snap to my initial starting point to show a vertical extension line to intersect with my third line I am drawing, the vertical extension will not show up, even though the horizontal extension line is visible, and even though it snaps to the my starting point to where I wish have the polar tracking show the vertical extension.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere ought to be a way to do this, but I don't see how: I record forums, and the presenter frequently wanders back and forth across the stage. I can use the motion tracker to track his wanderings (since the camera is set to a fairly wide angle). What I want to do with the motion tracking information is have the presenter's clip pan back and forth as he walks forth and back - with the net result that he stays in the center of the screen. (I'd use a zoomed portion of the image so that there would be enough to fill the frame.
Is there a way to do this? It would make forum recording so much easier.
I am very new to Revit (3 days) but am having an issue with the graphics display. When I start a new project from any of the preinstalled templates, the shaded views (with or without edges) do not show any shading and only display HLR. When I create a new family, or open a project from the tutorial downloads, the shading works. Is there a project setting that I am missing? Creating a render of the view shows proper shading/materials, just in the design phase it does not show.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an old video on cassette that I'm trying to capture to my computer to burn to dvd. It's fine on my t.v. being played in my vhs player. When I connect it to my computer using the program Video Studio Pro X5, I can capture, and everything is functioning fine, but the tracking is off in the preview section. I've captured, and played it back, and it captures like the preview. It's got the wave at the top, and a tiny bit of it on the bottom. How to adjust the tracking, like on old t.v.'s so that the picture is centered?

How do I get my wide polylines to show correctly? Is there a setting I should know about?
I'm attaching an image of the block the way it should look, and one of how it looks when I paste it in drawning no 2.
When I place a .psd picture in INDD 5.5 and do a drop shadow, the resulting pdf shows the outline of the canvas as a thin line. It doesn't show when the picture has no shadow. How can I get rid of the lines?

I tried the command "spline" and paste the coordinates and "pline" + paste; the result consists of two straight, collinear lines.That's not going to fly.
I tried to set the "units" in meters and the precision to 0.000000 thinking the values were too small and had been rounded which lead to the lack of curvature but the result was the same; then I reduced the number of points but to no use.
My video with IFrame at 100Mbps shows green video within VS Pro X6.With VS Pro X2, it is showing fine.

I had installed the NewBlue title Ex which link one gets when one registers VS X5. Since I did not prefer the same (compared to heroglyph) i uninstalled it, but the name NewBlue Titler Ex still appears inthe drop down FX menu tab. Is there some way to remove this redundant entry?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a competitor product for video editing and now I am looking for a new product since the support there was really bad. I tried the testversion of Videostudio X4 and downloaded the recommended file from the website which is the german version. I installed it on a XP 32 Bit machine and also on a Vista Ultimate 32 Bit machine.
In both cases the first dialogs (welcome and registration) after running the program are in Chinese language. Now, the problems are:
- Although I can translate the contents by google translator I do not register the program in this case. I don't know what is comming up after that.
- The Corel support does not do anything when you don't specify a registered product.
When I produce a MP4 video file in X4 it shows a thumbnail in the video file. I cannot figure out where this image comes from. It seems sometime to be the first video image from all tracks, but sometimes it is just the upper video track and sometimes it is a picture from a later point of the video. How does it work? And how can I control which image is used?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI record a program with my computer. When I get two recorded, I take each episode and "multi trim video' and cut out the commercials. I do it for each one. Now I have two episodes without commercials I open VS and 'add video to timeline.' I do that for each one and now have two shows i save together. I watch them as a 90 minute movie every two weeks instead of each week 45 minute.
For several years, when I save the video "same settings as the video.." it saves it pretty quick. Just as you would count, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,.... until 100%. The screen is blank when it does this. This has worked fine for years. Resonantly, without changing anything, when I save the file, it goes really slow and the video shows up on the screen when saving. In stead of taking maybe 100 seconds, it takes hours. It never had the video show up and go so slow.
I downloaded a video and at the bottom is a crawler(bar at the bottom that shows sports scores). I want to crop this off-is there a way to perform this function? I saw the cropping FAQ but couldn't find how to crop the bottom. I am using VS X2.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt was working fine. Then I just did a simple command (pattern a part) and the entire workspace blinked out. The first time it happened I hit UNDO and it was back. So I got out of the drawing and got back in and tried the pattern again. Same issue but this time when I hit UNDO it would not come back. I closed the file without saving and when I went back in the file the workspace is still nothing but white screen. In the browser everything is still visible except for those that I had already changed to invisible. I tried making an invisible to visible and nothing happened. I got out and tried opening the "old version" which should've been before any of this happened and it is also blank. I can go to an ipt or iam in the browser and hit open and it will open in another screen just fine. I just can't see my main assembly. I have Inventor 2012. It shows no errors or messages. I have even rebooted.
I looked thru the forum and found a past issue back in 2005 identical. I tried doing Find in Window on an item in the browser but for some reason that option is not even in the list when I right click.
I just installed inventor. When I begin a part there is no display of the planes, only the corner indicators show up when I hover over a plane. Also, when a part is created, only the edges show up when I hover over them.

After I close the program or the drawing, I am not able to see the contour lines again. The contour lines are on in the surface style. View 8 Replies View RelatedI'd like to know the coordinates relative to the last entry when creating lines (splines). When creating splines using the line tool, it would be useful to know the coordinates of my current cursor position relative to the last point in an easy way, so I can draw precisely a long line without having to memorize the coordinates of the last point.
Initially, I thought the 'Keyboard Entry" rollout would show the values that reflect what I'm doing visually, just like the rectangle tool for example, or pretty much any other tool, I don't know why the 'line' tool is different but anyways.
I used Solid Edge for my entire professional career. One thing that is driving me batty is how, when necessary in a view for clarity, tangent lines are displayed and how to change them, or at the very least, come up with a work around to display them how is needed. In general, tangent lines are first, supposed to be of thinner lineweight, but also, are not supposed to extend all the way across the surface of a part, they are to leave a small gap.
I have found and tried the option of displaying tangent lines, and also have checked the for shorten option. The issue is, in many of the parts the gap produced in HUGE. So I've spent a few hours tinkering, and I finally decided to try and define a new linetype using autocad express tools. So I tried this, but to my dismay I haven't been able to set up a linetype that only has a gap at the end. See attached jpeg for illustration.
I have drawn in essentially a sewer pressure pipe (using gravity part network because I don't have time to setup the other) and I am using PVC pipe and null structures at the joints. I created the pipe network from a feature line with verticies at the grade breaks and every 10'. As you can see in the picture the pipes are lining up but I have these straggling lines on the profile.

Is there a way to automatically display the dimension of lines or objects as you draw them? I looked at dimensional constraints, but AutoConstrain doesn't seem to have an option to automatically apply dimensional constraints....right?
On my LED monitor (Samsung XL2370), horizontal and veritcal lines display as different hues. Is there an Autocad setting to work with this or is it maybe some setting on my monitor?

Why do our feature lines all come in as the color white when xreffed into a drawing? Feature lines show up just fine in our topo drawing, so then we xref it into our design drawing and they all show as if the color is white when is is not in the layer properties. All other items (symbols, points, and lines) come in as the color they were drawn in the topo drawing.
