I am unable to import this planter box i created into the project I am working with. I have attached the planter box family file (rfa) I am working on and and a screen shot image (jpeg) of the planter box once it's imported into a project. I used another planter box template to create my family. Perhaps the file path is not set up correctly. Insert this family file into a project file.
View 2 RepliesI am having problems with void that i cant hide in my project. The void is inside my generic family but wont apply a cut unless i apply a length parameter to it. The problem i that in my project it seems to be visible as a yellow box that will also appear when printed.
Is it possible to hide this in the project by any way?
On my current project I get the error message "Software problem" when attempting to open the project file. This problem began last night and affects the project file and all automatic backup files of my current project. It does not seem to be affecting other projects.

Having just download a free trial and being very new to revit--I notice when I open revit and the project I have been working on I can see faintly and briefly the properties and project browser box but they disappear as it's opening and I cannot figure out how to get them on my screen.
Did I hide them somehow with out realizing it? Where do I go to get them back on my screen again?
I have downloaded few instant project templates Yet when I go to the Instant project window I do not see the import Icon . I only see the orange Icon(get more content). Is there something wrong with the installation of my VSPro x3.

When I click the import or load button the program appears to freeze and no dialog box appears. I can hit escape and its back to normal. View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running VideoStudio Pro X5. I spent all day yesterday on a little project and wanted to get it to youtube afterward. Unfortunately, none of my share options seem to be working! I've tried creating a disc, creating a video file, and uploading directly to youtube, but after everytime I try, I get an error message and VideoStudio closes out. I tried with the demo of X6 as well. The error message says APPCLOSE and gives the dump file, I believe.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased the PSP X3 Ultimate. Installed everything with no issue. Rebooted edited a photo saved it then opened Project Creator to upload it to Facebook. Put in my correct email and password. Yet I get the error of:
Unable to connect Please check your network connection.
the same machine that has PSP/Project Creator there is nothing wrong with my network connection. I've checked my UN/PW for Facebook and my connection and everything is correct.
It appears I can not even connect via PSP to check for updates etc.
When setting up a new project, I'm unable to change the bit depth for the project. It's set to 8-bit and ghosted. The graphics render button has a selector but when clicked it doesn't bring up the drop down.
My guess is that it has something to do with my hardware configuration (read: I need to upgrade my GPU) .

It has a curve. basically what I have done is created the line work on plan but now I want to use that curved line to create my family. which I am thinking I can create a profile and then sweep it on those lines. Quite simple what I want to acheive in ACA but not in revit. I want a line elevation view from file A (with shadows if possible) to insert into another file (B) sheet (so it shows another option variant without the complexity of setting up phases to show that option in file B. I can insert from file a render - managed that successfully but I dont want full renders as the the recipient (a planning authority) will plot from a pdf non-colour.
Is there any way of rendering so that the result is mostly line with a bit of half tone? I do elevations within a project this way by setting up a 3D aligned to elevation then sort out what I want shaded / colour / line by graphic overrrides.
I am wondering if there is a way to insert a template that I have created into a project that already exists. I have created a template for the company I work for and we already have all of our plans for our homes drawn up. So I either have to redraw these homes starting with the new template or if it is possible load in a template.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently working with a point cloud inside of revit. But, The point cloud comes into revit in a geospatialy correct position. Therefore, it is skewed and not near the origin where you would normally model in revit. I need to be able to rotate my project without actually changing the position of my objects.
I use CAD alot as well so the best way to describe this would be, in CAD, being able to set your UCS to an object, and then later on reseting your UCS to world.
The main purpose of all this is to be able to bring my floor plan into a sheet without it being rotated to the same orientation as the Pointcloud.
I don't know why Corel made this program without the ability to change the playback speed in project view. You can only change the speed on each clip. When you have 50 or more clips, this can take all day, when it could take a few seconds if you can do it in project mode.
