I had a green screen clip. Keyed out the green in PPro and exported as an flv alpha channel to get transparent background. When I put the flash file on a webpage it keeps looping. How can I set the output in PPro to autoplay (which it does now) but stop after it has played through once?
I use CS5 + Windows 7, and I would like to make looping gifs from .mp4/.avi clips. I make sure that I set looping to ''forever'', and that I save the file as a gif. once I upload it to a site on chrome(like imageshack and tumblr), the image always stops animating or doesn't animate at all. I've tried uploading the image on Firefox, and it looped forever on the image's direct link on imageshack. But when I upload the image to tumblr on either browsers, either from my files or the imageshack link, it still stops looping. When I go to a tumblr page to mass-delete posts, a gif that has a smaller size than an older gif(this one doesn't animate at all anymore) does loop. Every other gif on the whole site I haven't made always loop.
When editing a multicamera sequence, I keep running into this weird phenomenon where I can't stop the playback. I hit the space bar, start making cuts, then when I want to stop I hit the space bar again and nothing happens. The sequence keeps playing, sometimes stopping after a couple a minute or so, sometimes not until the end of the sequence.
The nested multi-cam sequence has just 4 streams of DSLR video. The machine I'm using has plenty of CPU power and memory and an nVidia GPU, so I'd be surprised if resources are a problem. The source media is on a Raid-0 array.
I've tried switching the resolution to 1/4, but this makes no difference. I have several layers of audio but have solo'ed just one to see if that would work. No.
I started a project and watch a lot of files in the source monitor to set IN and OUT points. When the file playes f.e. more than a minute the sound gets muted while the film is still running. First I thought it wood be a matter of my external HD from where I loaded the files. Now that I take the same or any other files from my internal sata 3 harddrive the behaviour is still the same.
When i scroll the mouse wheel to move some frames back and forth the sound is back when i hit the space bar. It's the same if i just hit the space bar once to pause and then hit it again to resume.
The effect shows after different amount of times, sometimes after 45 sec. and sometimes after 2 minutes +
I am running Pr Pro CS6 (latest update installed some days ago) on a windows 7 ultimate x64, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GTX 670, i7 3770, HD is a WD caviar black
The movie clips come from a Panasonic Lumix FZ 150 in FullHD resolution as h.264 MP4 files.
I am quite sure that some months ago this behaviour was not present. I did not change anything on Premiere CS6 but running the updates.
I have created a banner for a website in Photoshop. On the right side of the banner I want to have a flash file I created with transitioning imaging. I also use Dreamweaver but the banner is such that I cannot add it together in dreamweaver , or at least I haven't figured out how.
The best way I would like to do it is in Photoshop but will the Photoshop image allow the swf file to play? I tried to create a gif in Photoshop but that doesn't play like I would like. I am only using three images 330 px by 248 px so it isn't huge.
I shoot raw/jpg. I viewed in Digital Photo professional and transferred a Tiff to photoshop. I saved the image on a seperate disc. when I opened and tried to save again I received an error saying I didn'thave permission. I finally saved the psd version by changing the name of the picture. when I went back to the raw file on my flash card it was gone. when I went back to the tiff file that was gone to. the only file I have left is the jpg back up and the psd version. All the other pictures are still on both the flash card and my backup drive except this one. I've done recovery searches and they recover everything i've deleted from the flash card except the file I need. I don't understand why this happend. I've tried searching for hidden files etc. I didn't delete this file. the recovery program shows that it is there it just won't get it. it gets everything else but not this one. both the raw and the tiff files disappeared from two different drives. I want to get the raw file back.
My co-worker spent all day trying to export a Flash file to open and edit in Illustrator. Is this possible? She feels that it is because when she exports as .fxg into Illus if she turns the preview to outlines the art looks like vector art. Im not so sure. You cant select anything. It still has all those outer boxes aroud it like when you "Place" artwork. Is it possible to do this?
I save a lot of files to "save for web". After saving PS asks if I want to save changes to the original file. I never want to save the changes to the original. Since the default is to change the file I am afraid I will accidentally OK the change without wanting to. I would like it to stop asking and just not save it. Is there a way?
I have prepared an animated video in Photoshop/ImageReaday (CS2). How to I export it to an editable Flash file?
I tried Export > Macromedia® Flash SWF but when I opened the resulting file in Flash (CS3) I found it was not editable. I need to be able to access the timeline and layers.
I want to use VSx4 to create a custom sized .swf, flash file for a website. I plan to use a free program called Any Video Converter to covert my final VSx4 creation to the .swf as I hope that future versions of VS will have .swf output.
I'll be creating the video using stills with transitions in between.
Now I haven't tried this yet but...
I know how to change the project properties to custom frame sizes which is fine but what should I aim to be creating? I was thinking of an MP4 (H264) file but just wondering if you have other thoughts on what I should create as a video file before converting to .swf
The stills will be j-pegs. No audio will be involved
How to stop X6 downloading the help file and the User Guide PDF from the internet every time that I want to view these from inside X6?
All these files are installed on my PC so why does X6 insist on conecting to the internet for them? I know that if I disconect from the internet (but why should I Corel?) the help files load off my hard drive but if I click on Help/User Guide (PDF) I get "File not found".
First off, I don't mind the save as a copy feature. If I have a psd file with layers and smart objects and such, and I Save As > JPG, I don't want the jpg open, I want the psd open. I like how PS does that behavior, but I don't like how that jpg gets " copy" added to it's file name. Yes it's easy to remove, but I'm using a batch action on over 300 pictures, I don't feel like renaming 300 jpg's. Yes it's supposed to be a safety net, but I basically never work from jpg's as original's, and if for some reason I do, I set them as read only and copy the files off to a safe location, so I don't need it.
I know it's possible because my old school's computers with Photoshop CS5 never saved jpg's with copy in the file name. So, how do I stop PS CS5 from adding copy to my file names? Because I need Photoshop to not add copy to my file names on my work computer.
I was working on a file this morning and saved it in .Ai format. This afternoon I came back to work on it again and now it won't open. Illustrator hangs, and then stops responding. Is there a way I can fix this?
I have worked in Sony Vegas 9 and I was hoping Adobe Premier Pro CC was similar--- but its not. I can't figure out how to render and save a file as a windows media or mp3 or in any format for that matter.
I need to export with artboard. Illustrator automatically adds a number to my original file name. It won't even let me replace the old file. It is extremely annoying and makes flow with other programs really hard because they can't auto update, since the file name changes. When you have multiple files, you can't be manually renaming all the time.
Is there a setting , when you create a video file, that will prevent looping? The player has looping turned off but, it still loops. I burn with Img burn and I could find no setting for it.
in the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 when creating an animated GIF via the Save for Web dialog box; there is a looping option section that allows your animation to loop forever, or once...
In the previous version, it would remember which setting you selected for subsequent saves. In this new version, it forgets it and always defaults to ONCE; where I want FOREVER... making me forget to check it sometimes, when I'm working fast; and create animations that stop after one loop...
I have created a successful 24 frame animation gif using Photoshop layers and putting them into timeline. I have saved it for web, and checked the Once option. I have checked the looping option to 'Once', but when I play it or place it in an email it loops forever. It only plays once when I open it in the web browser, or when I preview it in Photoshop.
I'm in the middle of preparing a couple videos for an event in less than 2 weeks. One will be played on a larger LCD or plasma TV. The person in charge of that stuff at the hotel suggested I put that video on a thumb drive and that it could be looped. But now I find out that I have to set that parameter myself. So far, I can only see that it can be done when you burn the DVD. I just tried it and it works fine.
So, my question is, how can I burn the same video, to a thumb drive to accomplish the same end? Is that possible?
I was wondering if when I stop a looping clip playing in my timeline, I could have it stop at the frame I stop on instead of stopping at the positioner or in-point. This is a very vital problem I'm having.
I have come up with a work-a-round but it doesn't work near as smoothly as I would like it to.
All I do for the workaround is instead of hitting space when I stop, I hit right alt to set an in point then hit space to stop and "A" to move to my newly created in-point. But it doesn't work as smoothly as it should. I would really like it to perform like playing a clip in the desktop works. It just loops around and when I stop, it actually stops.
I need to loop through the user defined properties and create a list. I can create the lost but I can't find a way of looping through the defined properties. I can get property values but only if I know the name.
I need to loop through without knowing the UD name. Is there a way to recursively loop through all of the user defined properties?
In this case length returns a value of 20. I can repeat this command 20 times and have all these variables but I don't think that is the best way. I do need the "y" value insertion point of the text. Line numbers are very important with what I do.In the end what I want to do is
1. sort through how ever many values sslength returns.
2. compare a blocks attribute "y" value insertion point with that of all the text values.
3. If both y values are equal then that blocks "tag name" will be changed.
Here is what I am doing on the block end with for reference:
(if (= texty fuwhole) (setq funum1 (subst (cons 1 (strcat "FU" value1)) (assoc 1 funum1) funum1)) (entmod funum1) ) fuwhole is the blocks "y" value insertion point. funum1 is the blocks dxf group code
I am using AutoCAD 2011. I have a lisp that I have created/modified.
What it does:
Allows me to Select a layer that I call out and change its color properties back to bylayer.
(i primarily use this when i am cleaning up my drawings, I turn them all to gray with another command i have then i run this one to find all the entities on that specified layer)
What i am trying to do:
I would like this command to do a loop. So say i type in a layer name that does not exist, instead of running through the rest of the command i want it to revert back to "specify layer name" until the correct name is entered for that layer.
