I need to make a blu ray disc that continuously plays/loops for a trade show booth display.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a setting , when you create a video file, that will prevent looping? The player has looping turned off but, it still loops. I burn with Img burn and I could find no setting for it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm in the middle of preparing a couple videos for an event in less than 2 weeks. One will be played on a larger LCD or plasma TV. The person in charge of that stuff at the hotel suggested I put that video on a thumb drive and that it could be looped. But now I find out that I have to set that parameter myself. So far, I can only see that it can be done when you burn the DVD. I just tried it and it works fine.
So, my question is, how can I burn the same video, to a thumb drive to accomplish the same end? Is that possible?
BTW, I'm using VP Pro X5 Ultimate on a PC.
I have a new camera which records in AVCHD format. I have transferred the video files from my camera to the computer. I have compiled a project on Video Studio ProX2. When I playback each clip they play at normal speed. When I playback the project before copying onto a disc the playback is very fast. I have also got as far as sharing the project onto a disc but when I click on preview the playback is again very fast. I see that I can slow down the playback but this also slows down any speech on the video.
I have used Video studio PRox for a couple of years now with great success with an old Sony Handycam but I must need to do something to the new format to play it back at normal speed.
I just finished editing MP4 videos with Corel VideoStudio x3. I exported the videos in the same format. The problem i am having with all of the videos is that when I try to view them with Adobe Flash Player All I get is the audio portion of the video and the Adobe controller is visible. I have tried to exporting the videos in a few different MP4 formats but none seem to work?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I play video clips back in the playback window, they shake and stutter and give an "after-effect" look to each clip. Looks like mouse trails if you select that in your setup. I am running the program in Windows 8 64 bit, if that matters, but don 't see why it should. When I play the clips in Windows Media player, just to check to see if it is the clips, none of this behavior occurs. Never ran into this one before and I have been with VS since the good old days of version 4.
I rendered a few clips that were doing that into the final MPG format I want and the shakiness is not there once rendered. It can only mean that I have something ticked or un-ticked in my setup of VS Pro 16 Ultimate. It makes it difficult to stitch together the final clips with pinpoint accuracy.
I have used on and off MovieFactory for a number of years and have been well pleased. It's simple to use and doesn't require a degree in software use to make effective DVD's playable in all DVD players.I shoot my footage with a Panasonic NV-MX300 3 CCD camcorder, which although a few years old now, can hold it's own with lower end so called HD Camcorders
My method of creating a DVD has been to capture the footage using a third-party Video editor and then importing it's export into Movie Factory and then work from there.
I have recently upgraded my version of MovieFactory 6 Plus to VideoStudio Pro X4 as this seems to better support the creation of HD BluRay discs. No I don't have the Power Pack Plug-in with my version of MovieFactory but thought that upgrading would better suit my needs.I have created, successfully a 35Gb .AVI file using my third-party NLE and it's properties are as follows: -
Stream 0
Type: Video
Codec: DV Video (dvsd)
Resolution: 720x576
Frame rate: 25
Stream 1
Type: Audio
Codec: PCM S16 LE (araw)
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bits per sample: 16
My original DV footage was roughly this too. It was shot in Widescreen although the sound was recorded in 32000 Hz stereo. When I import the video into either MF 6 or VS Pro 4 the playback is in a squashed 4:3 aspect Ratio and no matter how I alter the preferences or Project Settings, before or after importing the .AVI file, it refuses to play back in widescreen. When the exported file plays in VLC Player or Windows Media Player, it plays back correctly.
Downloaded and installed the latest VS X3 trial version 13.6.2.42. Direct X is installed on the PC.
There is a problem when I try to play in VS X3 any MPEG2 file created with the earlier version of VS 7SE. The video playback is too fast and I hear only an intermittent high pitch noise. There is no problem playing the same file with the Windows Media Player.
I can play without problem .avi file captured from a DV camcorder. The VS X3 sample files play fine as well.
I'm able to view each clip individually without any playback problem upon capture. However, once I drop a clip into the timeline, the clip experiences a very slight but noticeable bit of stuttering/jumping/hiccuping every so many seconds during playback on the timeline. I was hoping that this might have just been occurring in preview mode, but after creating a video file, the problem still exists. This footage was captured using a Flip camera.
The manufacturer of the flip camera is suggesting that since the footage can play fine with the camera program (Arcsoft Media Impression) the problem seems to be related to the player codec on my computer. They suggested that I download the latest K-Lite Codec Pack to see if that would resolve the problem.
I'm using the trial version of CVS X4 and have been impressed so far, but have come into a problem that I have seen others post here, but it's not 100% identical to my problem.

I've posted a 1 minute sample on Youtube at [URL] ...... You'll notice while viewing an opening pan of the Welcome sign and footage of the columns the issue I'm inquiring about. I find it very strange that this especially noticeable when a scene is being panned.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently evaluating Videostudio Pro X6. I've installed the program to drive F:. I've set my working directory within the program to drive G:. I have the Windows environment variables for the system temp folders set to G: as well. However, I've noticed that when the program is running it's using several hundred megabytes on drive C:. Upon exiting, the space is restored. Where are these temporary files being written to? Is there any way to prevent this behavior?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter rendering a few clips in my timeline for playback, my video tracks are no longer playing back. The timeline time marker plays, the time counts, and the audio playback is working correctly, but the video stays on the frame in which playback started, and does not move change until pausing playback.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was watching through footage and choose a handful of clips ... my video worked fine. Then Friday I came back to start putting everything together and the clips "went blank," The audio could be heard and played back in real time, but the video displays as a black screen or a green screen. I tried rendering, but it said it would take 2+ hours to render the 1 minute of clips I had in my timeline. Even the sections that did end up rendering just showed a blank red screen. Clips are .MTS (which I've used in every project previously with no problem) shot with a Panaconic HMC-150.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on Windows 8, 64-bit operating system
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU - 920 @ 2.67 GHz

The thing that gets me is that this has worked for months, even worked with these clips a few days ago, and now it seems like everything just vanished.
In CS6, When editing Pro Res 422, Video with single layer plays back fine but with 3 layers playback and export are very choppy. I tried merging layers but the video doesn't playback at all. Is there any other settings I could try?

I have the error, that the animation preview can't start my media player...
I allways get two errors: One from windows (the german one) and one from max...
My default media player is "media player classic home cinema". If i click on a AVI file in explorer, mpchc will launch and play it. So the file associate are ok. But max can't start it.
This is not related to max 2012... I have this error since many versions of max...

I am occasionally getting an error message when trying to view .MOV files from a Nikon D600: Video System Error: unknown Message: BindSuccess. Once that error pops up, I cannpt view any movies until I restart Lightroom. However, I do not have any problems viewing any of the files with Windows Media Player. What is causing this? I have an AMD Radeon 6700 HD series video card and a lot of RAM.

I've created a slide show using layers and have created a video group. This turns the layers into clips in the timeline. I've added a cross-fade transition between each clip in the timeline.
Everything plays back nicely in PS. When I export to mp4 and play it back in Quicktime, no matter what the magnification, the transitions look horrible. Even if I freeze frame on one it's horribly pixelated. I've tried different export options with the same results. Something appears to be happening during rendering the transitions, as if PS doesn't know how to create them. I export to:
Adobe Media Encoder
H.264
High Quality
1920 x 1080 (same as my file)
Frame Rate 30 fps
Field Order: Preset (Progressive)

I am trying to record a video of a driven constraint. It seems to work fine until I go to view the video file. When I open the file the windows media player opens but no video plays. It acts as if the video is a ~ milli second long.
I have tried to save the file in both formats: .wmv and .avi. Both do the same thing.
I have blended still photos, imported video AVI with it's own audio and music tracks. The work area was rendered and when I play the sections the music blends out and the video plays back as it's supposed to and even with full screen. Then I use the "Share" tab and burn a DVD using either a DVD-R or DVD+R and everything is fine except the video pieces that I want to play are silent.

View 4 Replies View Relatedjdi1: Why is there still no video playback in full screen mode?
jdi2: Please give us an option to start video playback automatically when browsing through files in loupe and fullscreen mode (without having to press "space" or such). Let us switch this option on or off just as needed.
Video playback is still a bit laggy. Often LR5.2 needs to load audio first while the video already starts playing. If other (even freeware) media browsers can do this without latency, why not Adobe's LR?
After I've upgraded to OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion, I begin to see the following issue while trying to import .mts files from my Panasonic GH2 SD cards:
1. LR no longer sees individual files on the SD card. I know that this is because ML has decided to treat all AVCHD-related directories as packages and LR can no longer see the indivisual .mts files from the file system. However, Premier Pro CS6 CAN.
2. Even after copying the .mts files to an unrelated directory, LR is no longer able to import the files. I get the "There is a problem with the video file"
3. The .mts files I previously imported into LR 4.1 with Lion no longer plays inside LR. I see the thumbnail but if I attempt playback I get the "there was an error working with the video" error.
There obviously major compatibility issue with LR 4 and ML in relation to video files. I relies on LR for all my video file cataloging needs - now I am unable to do so. All of this was working just fine with Lion.
I rendered the video previews on the timeline (5 video timelines) The length of the timeline is 1 hr 20 min. The first 37 minutes playsback fine but from that point on, the edited video flickers showings video from the footage on each stacked timeline. I restarted computer hoping that would take care of the problem but did not.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile editing a large video file (one hour), the audio playback worked for a while, but then simply stopped working. Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using PS in a traditional animation capacity--drawing each frame of animation by hand on a seperate layer. I loved doing this in 5.5 and it worked wonderfully on my machine. There are a couple of problems for me with CS6 that perhaps
My main problem is that when i play back my animation (I prefer to use the clips/layers version as opposed to the "frame" version which is more limited in my opinion), the image quality is horrible. When I say "play back" I mean hitting the spacebar and playing it, not rendering it. This feature worked like a charm in CS5.5, but the quality is very low in CS6. The same thing happens when scrubbing with the play head--the image quality gets all blocky and pixelly looking. The funny thing is, when I stop playback or stop scrubbing through frames, the images go back to thier normal state.
When I first saw this happen, it reminded me of a low quality RAM preview in After Effects (for those of you who are familiar with After Effects)--which I thought would make sense, since AE offers a way to increase or descrease the quality of immediate playbacks (RAM Previews) depending on what you are testing in the playback and how much available RAM you have. But there is no way to adjust the playback quality in PS CS6--at least not one that I can find. I absoluately need playback to be 100% quality as it was in 5.5, otherwise this feature is completely useless to me.
Also--did they remove the "onion skinning" button from the Timeline window? That was so useful... That is such a useful button for anyone attempting traditional animation in this program--which it was wonderful for in CS5.5.
BTW--my current machine specs if that matters:
Mac Mini, 2009 model
2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB
OSX Lion
4 GB RAM
100+ GB free HD space
