I was working on a file this morning and saved it in .Ai format. This afternoon I came back to work on it again and now it won't open. Illustrator hangs, and then stops responding. Is there a way I can fix this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have installed photoshop CS on a Dell Latitude e6520. The installation completes successfully and I was able to active the product via the telephone. However when I go to launch the product it get all the way to the work area and then when I attempt to click anyhwere in the application it says "Not Responding" and then closes the application.
I have updated the nVidia Driver thinking it maybe a grahphics driver issue but still no luck. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the product about a dozen times with no luck. What can I do to fix this problem.
I have created a macro that create company logo and file name path to all page.
But when document page is more than about 10-15 or more macro stops responding and coreldraw x6 hangs.
Just got my Wacom draw tablet working with GIMP....but now I have a whole new set of issues GIMP will not respond to either the Wacom pen or mouse then stops responding to my main keyboard and main mouse ., lets me draw a little on one layer and then just stops working. Today when I tried to configure the tablet settings in the tool box it didn't read the tablet at all. And yes the tablet was plugged in. I think I am starting to hate GIMP.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed Autodesk Inventor Pro 2014 as a student for my engineering class and I have yet to get it to work properly. Every time I try to open the program, it will open to the main selection page. But the first click I do on the screen causes it to say 'not responding'. I have to close the program and try opening it again. The second time, it does not even get past the opening screen. It freezes and I end up having to log off of my user and log back in. I have the 64-bit version that matches my computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to export with artboard. Illustrator automatically adds a number to my original file name. It won't even let me replace the old file. It is extremely annoying and makes flow with other programs really hard because they can't auto update, since the file name changes. When you have multiple files, you can't be manually renaming all the time.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn previous versions of Photoshop until CS6, with your work set to 'Float in Window' mode, moving your artwork window meant that it sat behind the program interface at all times, so you could move it to the side of the screen and it would sit underneath your panels, layers, text, colors, tools etc...
In CS6, it now sits on top of it. This is extremely annoying as it means having to manually arrange the windows so they don't obscure the working tools. Any reason why this was changed? I'm sure it works for some people but it's disrupting my workflow.
How do I stop the Adobe Product Improvement Program prompt from coming up every time I open Photoshop CS5 on my Mac, even after I have responded that I do not want to participate? This is becoming very annoying and I have looked on line for a method to turn this off without luck.

Is it possible to make the program to stop rounding when I try to set the image size? I'm putting in a size that is like 4.569 and it rounds it to 4.57 and I don't want it to round it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working in Revit 2012. Everytime I save my file it just sits there and thinks. When CTRL-ALT-DEL revit is not responding so I have to end task. The file is not of abnormal size and has been functioning fine until today. I haven't done or made anything in revit out of the ordinary. When I re-open the file I get a "seek failed" message. I open the backup file just fine, but again, cannot save it without it locking up on me again. I have audited and purged. I have copied and saved a new file under a different name.

I need a COMPLETE file for Navisworks...
When I go to Revit, and try to export to NWC file, it starts the export process... about 40 minutes in (YES, 40 mins, it just loads and loads and loads) I will get an error message that "Revit has stopped responding"
This is now the 3rd time today I have tried this with no success. I also tried loading into Navisworks directly (Nav 2013) but will not read the files properly and bring them in together.
I know Revit 2012 is capable of exporting linked models to a single NWC file... however my computer does't seem to like it. I even just sat and read a book and did not internet serach or running any other programs at the time....
I NEED THIS TO WORK
Exporting each individual Revit model to NWC and recompling them in Navisworks IS NOT AN OPTION.
I need to export this large linked Revit file as ONE nwc file.. I know it CAN be done...
My laptop is fairly newer and has like 8gb of ram, so that shouldn't be the problem, is it?
I just upgraded my iMac from Snow Leapord to Mavaricks 10.9 and Illustrator CS6 or Illustrator CC will not respond when you try and open a file. I tried Clicking on File/Open and also Cmd+O and it will not bring up the open dialog and will not respond and I have to force quit the program. If you double click on a file it opens but when you try and save it, the same thing happens, not responding and have to force quit. It also happen in Photoshop.

So when I attempt to open eps file, it simply hangs, and eventually says NOT RESPONDING. As I type this I've been attempting to open a file for over 30 minutes. I've tried rebooting to no avail.
I save a lot of files to "save for web". After saving PS asks if I want to save changes to the original file. I never want to save the changes to the original. Since the default is to change the file I am afraid I will accidentally OK the change without wanting to. I would like it to stop asking and just not save it. Is there a way?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got a shape locked on the screen and can't unlock it.It is just a rectangle with 2 rounded corners. It has a strange shadow... I don't recall doing that shape ever, I was switching among Illustrator and Photoshop and in a second it just appeared.I tried many alternatives but still can't get rid off it. It is in every new file I make. It doesn't respond to zoom in/out. If I switch to outline view it stays the same, even with the shadow.I recorded a video.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am unable to use the file command open, new etc. I click on open and nothing happens no file box opens. As soon as you do anything else the program says not responding and you have to close it down. I can click on an autocad file in windows explorer and bring up the file this way but as soon as you try any file command such as save as the program freezes again. I am running windows 7 professional and the autocad LT 2011 64 bit program.
