I've been noticing this behaviour in CC 7.1.
When you place "Sharpen" and some third party plugin (Sapphire, NewBlue, BorisFX, ...) the 1 pixel wide rectangle starts to appear around the frame. Is it a bug?
It seems the Sharpen effect in Premiere Pro CC is not 32-bit, however based on this [URL] , it should not affect the colors. Can we get a confirmation that indeed applying this effect on a 4:2:2 10bit ProRes project will not crush the bit-depth of the colors?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just started using PS CC (Mac, v14.1.2) and tried out Photomerge with a set of 40 (4 rows, 10 cols) raw images (Pentax PEF format), resulting in a 0.3 gigapixel image.
When I have them stitched by Photomerge, I see fine white lines at the merge points.
I had enabled all 3 options (blend images together, vignette removal, geometric distortion correction), using cylindrical layout.
When I first convert the PEFs to TIFFs and use Photomerge with the same options, there are no such white lines.
An example of the bad output:
These unwanted lines are, of course, at the edges where the images are getting joined.
Also, when using only a few images (2x2 or 3x3, or even 4x5), I do not get this effect.
I noticed that when using less images, the blend masks' edges are not straight - but they are when I see this issue. This suggests that at some point the merge operation gets overwhelmed and switches to a simpler algorithm, which in turn has this "bug" with RAW images, apparently.
Is this a known issue, and is there a way to get this working right with this many RAW/PEF images?
It used to be that whenever i would move the cursor in adobe premier with either the left or right arrows or by simply clicking and dragging it, it would play the audio from that frame. But it is not doing it anymore, I think i must have accidently hit a shortcut key or something to change it in settings i dont know. But it would be good if I could get the setting to change it back. I know for a fact that my laptops speakers do work, so its not that.

actually I have bulk actions when I'm doing this procedure and only do these things: reduce image from example around 900x600 to 180x120 and then I just do filter - sharpen - sharpen.It's nothing special comparing to this photo
What is the difference between sharpen and sharpen copy in the presets section of LR? they seem to have the same effect, dont know which one to use

I have a picture that is rectangle and obviously cannot resize to a square - distorts the picture. I know there is a way to copy the rectangle picture into a square picture frame which allows the picture to be square while not distorting the rectangle size.

In order to do that, I've expanded this shape and created a ellipse with no stroke above button, with transparency/screen. This is what I got:
Now I need to get rid of the rest of ellipse, so the button will be transparent on upper boundaries. Inner part of button should be white, but whatever I put between button and ellipse should receive glossy effect. How to do that?
I am working in a custom project. 30fps (progressive). My quicktimes begin at frame 0. When I look at the files in quicktime, the frames are there. When I import the files into premiere CC. the first 2 frames are not viewable and my imported clip begins at frame 2. Is this a settings thing?

a) How to create a rounded rectangle? I tried to use “rectangle tool” but I couldn’t find adjust to make it “rounded”.
b) Considering the possibility to create a “rounded rectangle” and applying “shadow drop” on it, will the shadow appear “rounded” as well? Or is there something to do?
c) In some tests I made applying “shadow drop” on a normal rectangle (as a new layer) the only adjust I could make after that was on “shadow size” (dragging the mouse). I was having trouble with my video being too slow (Nikon d5300 recording at 1920x1080 and 60i frame rate) and I changed it from 59.94 to 29.97 and it corrected my video but now my audio is too slow. What can I change now to fix audio so that the video stays corrected?

I am trying to use a title block I made as a template in a paperspace. I made the title block in the model space of a separate drawing, its origin is at 0,0. I used the WBLOCK command to make the title block into its own saved block, but when I insert it into the paperspace of the drawing that I want to use the title block in the drawing of the title block is larger than the white rectangle which represents the paper. I can insert viewports and print the drawing fine, but the drawing of my title block being larger than the white area of the paperspace bugs me. How do I make it bigger?

If I choose at AI, the export, to jpg option, and tick the use artboards option, the exported jpg will get a rather thick white frame.
The document has no stroke, if i export without the use artboard option there is no problem..

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I covert a font or shaped image under Bitmaps=>Convert to Bitmaps, I get a white solid background. In Corel x5 this would be a clear background. Also I can no longer Cover to Bitmap a photo then open with bitmap editor to create rectangles or ovals with clear faded edges. These are items I use all the time. How do I achieve this now. Also x6 will not save in x5 version. It will warn me of potencial problems then fail.
