View 2 Replies View RelatedI have PSE9 and a macbook pro 10.9. I lost the original DVD that came with my purchase of PSE. Some files must have gotten corrupted because I can't open the program without reintalling. It says, "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory. Please reinstall the application." I have the serial number and all and I registered the product. Is there somewhere I can download a new copy to install?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a new Mac Mini, and copied all my computer data and applications from my MacBook Pro onto it. Since the Creative Suite (CS6) wasn't working on the new computer, I re-installed it (downloaded from the Adobe website).
Here's the problem: When I try to open Photoshop by double clicking on a file icon (such as a .jpg), I get this message: "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory, Please reinstall the application." So - I uninstalled and then reinstalled everything, but it still doesn't work. Also another icon appears in the Dock on the far right.
If I launch Photoshop first, and then open files from within the application, the files open without a problem. But I'd rather not have to do this all the time.
With InDesign and Illustrator, another icon appears in the dock as well when I double-click on a file - but I don't get the message and can access the file with no problem.
When loading Photoshop CS4 or Dreamweaver I get both the same message; some of the application components are missing from the application directory, please reinstall the application. Well, I've reinstalled photoshop and dreamweaver several times, download everything again too.Nothing solves the problem. What to do? the message is simply not telling me what is going wrong, shame on adobe.but anyone got the solution to this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI un-installed CS5 when I got additional memory on my MacBook Pro. Wben I re-installed CS5 I moved the application icon to my desktop. When I clicked on the icon I got a screen that said. "Some of the application components and missing from the Application Directory" Please re-stall the application. The CS5 does open if I open it on the application page.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI keep getting an application has moved message when starting Photo Shop CS6I have attached a screen grab of the message here. what I need to do to keep it from happening each time I start up CS6?
My OS is OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.4I start up CS6 from my normal location which is the CS6 icon that resides in my dock.if I select the update button, it has no effect, the application still gives me the same message each time I start up.
I've just installed PhotoShop 6 on 20 of our college iMacs. We have a volume license account so this individual account signin is useless, but that's not the issue. Mac OSX, we have restricted use of files for students, they are allowed to run applications. Allowed access to Adobe Photoshop CS6. Software opens, but then gets message not allowed to run application adobe_licutil. What/where is that so we can modify our security settings to allow this to operate?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm getting an error message that I don’t fully understand when using an adaptive component. "There is only one component in this repeater" I am trying to create a undulating ceiling and attach an adaptive "Rafter" to follow the form. I can occasionally get it to work but on occasion I receive the error message. I can send you the file if you like, I’m pretty sure it’s a “User Issue”!RAC 2013
I have been told that it is to do with the direction that I draw the curves but I would like a more indepth explanation of this error...
The other issue I'm having may have to do with the placement of the adaptive component on the node plane, depending on where I place the component it will change the orientation if the rafter...
Since my Windows-7 PC went to the shop for a clean up following some suspect virus my CS5 Photoshop seem to have some components missing. I can get into CS5 (I had upgraded from CS3 earlier in the year and now I can't get into CS3 even though the icon is still there.) and upload a photo and use the basic tools but I can't use a lot of the ACTIONS: i.e. I get error messages like The command "Feather" is currently not available or "The command Channel Mixer is currently not available"

I can click on "don't show this message again" before pressing ok, but can i disable it from showing somewhere in the application settings? I want to enable it sometimes and sometimes not.
- The "Reset All Warning Dialogs" button from Edit - Preferences - General is not very usefull because I want to keep other messages' settings, only this one should be affected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI made a simple aluminum frame with clear polycarbonate shields. Somehow, when I put it on drawing sheet, some parts behind the polycarbonate are missing. If i make the polycarbonate invisible, the missing parts appear again. This strange phenomenon started today. It didn't happen before, and no parts were missing behind the clear polycarbonate.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working on a large plant piping project and while I've seen this behavior before I've never seen it this bad.
Attached is a screen shot of a small portion of the assembly drawing in which you can see a good example of what I'm dealing with.
At the top you can see a weld neck flange that appears to be attached to air where there should be an elbow. In the middle you can see that on one side of the elbow there is missing geometry.
At the bottom is another flange that attached to air where there should be an elbow. This drawing is littered with these errors and as such is unsuitable for even a reference document.
I have turned visibility of these components off and on without resolution. I have turned on tangent and interference edges without resolution.
I have translated a copy to ACAD to see if it's simply graphical but the ACAD file shows the same errors. I have checked parallel and perpendicularity and all is well.

This problem began for me after installing the PSCS6 beta. I started getting a popup saying "Adobe Application Manager is missing or damaged" and advising me to download and reinstall AAM. I did that, with no result. The responses from Adobe ("you must have a bad installer"). I was able to leave the beta as it was and use PSCS5.
Fast forward: PSCS6 is released and I purchase and try to install the upgrade, which won't install with the beta present. The Beta uninstaller won't run because of the AAM error. I laboriously search and delete all files related to the beta.PSCS6 release version installs, but when it starts I get a popup witht the same message about AAM. I have spent over 12 hours in chat with Adobe support with only negative results. Not only have they not fixed the problem -- they have managed to propagate it to my PSCS5 installation -- which they subsequently deleted.
As part of attempting to diagnose I have tried the PSCS6 unistaller, which fails with the same error; used the CS cleaner tool and reinstalled -- same problem; verified permissions and file ssytem on my system drive; tried removing CS6 and reinstalling from a new, clean admin account -- same AAM error.
I am at my wits' end with this. I have NO working verion of photoshop (big problem for a photographer/designer), NO confidence in Adobe support (most of the 12 hours was watching them try the same things we had done several times before), and how to fix this short of stripping my Mac back to the metal and reinstalling everything.
Each Time I try to boot Photoshop CC I get the missing DLL message. It tells me to try reinstalling but I've already done this twice over the last month for other reasons. If I click OK on the error message 4-5 times it goes away and PS CC boots up. I'm using 64bit PS CC in Windows 7 on a Dell XPS with a nVidia graphics card.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI previously downloaded a copy of Photoshop CS6 off TPB, but somebody else has the serial number I used, and I can't open the application. I need to know how to deactivate my computer so I can download a trial version from the website.
Also, I can't open the program because when I do, it comes up with a box saying "The serial number 12345678987654321 is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use Photoshop CS6 Extended again on this computer." how to deactivate it without having to open the application, and uninstalling it doesn't deactivate it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe Elements 11 Organizer icon in my Applications folder has a circle with a slash through it and when I click on it I get the error 'You can't open the application "Adobe Elements 11 Organizer" because it is not supported on this type of Mac.' The packaging for the software clearly states it is compatible with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. I did an uninstall and reinstalled with no other programs running, but still have the same problem. I originally had this software installed on an older Mac Mini running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard with no problems at all.
I am able to open Elements 11 Editor, however, when I try to open a raw file from my Panasonic Lumix LX7 I get the error 'Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.' Once again, I had no problem opening this file on my Mac Mini and the Lumix LX7 is a supported camera. I am able to open a NEF file from my Nikon D5100, and I am able to open a JPEG file from the Lumix.
