Illustrator Scripting :: Missing Profile - Doc Does Not Have Embedded CMYK Profile
Apr 2, 2012Each time I open a file in AI - CS3 I get the same message: "Missing Profile - The doc does not have an embedded CMYK profile". I looked in library>colorsync>profiles and sure enough they were gone? I downloaded new profiles from Adobe, installed them in library>colorsync>profiles - and still the same thing with each file I open. I dragged AI to the trash, re-installed AI from my disc repeated the process with the same results .

Aug 22, 2013Each Time I try to boot Photoshop CC I get the missing DLL message. It tells me to try reinstalling but I've already done this twice over the last month for other reasons. If I click OK on the error message 4-5 times it goes away and PS CC boots up. I'm using 64bit PS CC in Windows 7 on a Dell XPS with a nVidia graphics card.

I only needed a few items and deleted the rest, however every time I load up the scene, it will say that it is missing the files (which it isn't), because I don't want them. Nov 13, 2011I had pictures on a flash drive that I scanned in. When I brought them into Lightroom, I "added" them to lightroom. I didn't "move" them. So, I am assuming that when the flash drive is missing is why I am getting the "jpg is missing or offline" message. Is there any way to fix this or do I just have to delete them all and "move" them?

Jan 3, 2014When I downloaded my photos into Lightroom today I used today's date on the folder, but got the year wrong, 2013. After I completed editing my entire photo session, and tried to export some of the images, I realized I had the date wrong on the folder. I used my Mac's "Finder" to locate the file and change the name to 2014, with the rest of the folder name. I see now that this was a mistake and I should have probably changed the file name IN lightroom instead. Now I cannot export because I am getting the message about the files being offline or missing. I have tried to correct this by changing the folder name back to the original incorrect name (year), but this did not solve it. I clicked on the question marks and tried to "find" the folder, but that did not work either. It would be nice to be able to save my work in editing, rather than to have to start over again. In addition, Lightroom now shows several extra folders with the same folder names have been created that I didn't plan or create, purposely at least :

Jul 3, 2010How do you turn off the 'image is offline or missing' dialog when no drives are hooked with the source files. I'm on LR3, and I don't remember this being an issue with LR2. Doing a client presentation with my MBP and the files are indeed offline. I usually my client selection process from the grid and loupe views, but I'm getting this message, pretty large across the top of the image. I don't remember this being an issue before, so either it wasn't there at all, or the text was smaller.

I found Uncoated Fogra29 the best profile to use with my Epson Inkjet Printer. (better than the default Epson Profile)

Dec 17, 2012I created a profile showing original ground and included superimposed profiles and an offset of the og line. Now when I open the drawing, the profile lines are gone. The grid is there, all of the profiles are listed under the alignment but they are not showing up. All of the styles are on and I've turned all layers on. I've tried to regain all and recover the drawing but the profile lines are not showing in the grid.
