Lightroom :: Missing Lens Profile In 5.2 RC?
Aug 30, 2013I've been waiting for an update that includes a lens profile for the AF_S Nikkor 18-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 G W/A lens. I thought it would be in RC 5.2 or Camera RAW 8.2 RC. But, no. Closest I can now come is the more expensive 16-35mm W/A. I'm using this on the D600.

Jan 20, 2014I have Elements 11 and just created a photo album, went to print it and it either comes up with:- Tere was an error opening your printer, Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any document. or if I get the printer ialogue box to open, then press print it comes up with Could not complete your request because the ICC profile is invalid.

I tried removing Elements from my pc and re-installing it incase I had done something to cause the problem, but makes no difference.
Lightroom :: Canon 60D With EF-S 15-85 IS USM Missing Lens Profile In V4
Apr 22, 2012This is a Canon kit combination and it seems odd that it's not included in the Canon profile for lens correction. The EF-S 10-22 IS USM is there which is not a kit lens and quite expensive. Am I missing a step or do I have to download additional lenses from Adobe?

Feb 13, 2011my main reason for upgrading to LR 3 was the lens profile correction abilities but for some reason LR 3.3 is not listing my Canon 15-85 IS USM lens. I use LR 3.3 at work and the lens is listed but on my Macbook Pro it's missing.

I don't want to start creating a profile as I am not sure I have the technical capabilties or knowledge. Where can I find a profile for this lens?

Sep 6, 2013In the middle of a photoshop session the application spontaneously quit (when changing colour palette). This is a totally legal copy of CS2, recently successfully transferred to a new-ish Mac running Snow Leopard. When I tried to restart P'shop it came up with an error message "Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organisation, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."Subsequent attempts to launch p'shop came up with a supposedly humorous "Space Monkey" splash screen.

Feb 6, 2014I have Lightroom 3 and just this morning noticed that all of the preloaded lens profiles are missing. I've been using the program for 3 years now and they've always been there previously. The only one available is SIGMA. I have a Canon, so all of those are gone. At the bottom of the box in "Develop" it says "Unable to locate a matching profile automatically."

I am running on Windows and tried repairing, but it seems to be missing the installation file that it needs.Is there a way to download and install the profiles for just the lenses I have? Or, do I need to completely re-install? If that's the case, will all of my libraries stay in tact?

Apr 2, 2012Each time I open a file in AI - CS3 I get the same message: "Missing Profile - The doc does not have an embedded CMYK profile". I looked in library>colorsync>profiles and sure enough they were gone? I downloaded new profiles from Adobe, installed them in library>colorsync>profiles - and still the same thing with each file I open. I dragged AI to the trash, re-installed AI from my disc repeated the process with the same results .

Mar 27, 2014In Development module in LR4.4, viewing a Fuji X100s raw file (converted on import to DNG) I tick the box for "Enable Profile Corrections" under "Lens Corrections," and select "Auto" from the "Setup" menu. I would have thought that LR would pick up the X100s profile, but no, nothing happens. If I choose "Fujifilm" from the "Make" dropdown, I can find the X100 (not X100s) profile manually. The profile's probably pretty similar, but still, I'm wondering why my install of 4.4 doesn't have the X100s profile in place?

While I'm at it, I'll ask this too -- I recently bought the new Nikkor 35mm 1.8G ED (the new full frame 35mm Nikon lens, not the trusty 35mm 1.8DX) and there's no profile for that lens in my LR4.4 either.

Finally, I note that when I choose "Check for Updates" from the "Help" menu in LR, I'm told there are no updates available.

Apr 20, 2013I've tried this several times, both with and without previews. I'm trying to make a copy of my masters with sidecars etc. so that I can examine the entire catalog on my laptop with an external hard drive.

On my destop PC I export all my images as a catalog to the external drive (it's a Terabyte drive ) and when done I cannot read the catalog on either the machine that created it or the laptop. I'm running Vista which seems to work ok with evertying else. I've tried both with and without previews thinking it would be a smaller amount of space by leving out the previews.Â

When opening the catalog from the file menu in LR 4.4 or by clicking on the saved .lrcat file it gives an error message that the catalog/library is invalid.
Lightroom :: Use Canon Lens Profile If There Isn't Sony Profile?
Mar 13, 2014I just bought the Tamron SP 90 2.8 DI MACRO USD and LR lens profiles only lists this lens for Canon (F004E) and Nikon (F004N). There is no profile for Sony (F004S) ! Any drawback if I use F004E or N ? Or better use a the profile of the older Model of that lens where there is a Sony profile ?

Aug 11, 2012Downloaded the BLURB color profile and installed to the system. Restarted LR and it did not appear in the other list for color profiles. I checked and found the profile in c:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/color. I tried coping the file to c:/ProgramFile(x86)/CommonFiles/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended. Restarted LR and still no BRURB icc shows up in the list. I also noticed there were other profiles in these directories which do not show up in the list. What am I doing wrong? Is there another menu which controls the "other..." list?

Dec 17, 2012I created a profile showing original ground and included superimposed profiles and an offset of the og line. Now when I open the drawing, the profile lines are gone. The grid is there, all of the profiles are listed under the alignment but they are not showing up. All of the styles are on and I've turned all layers on. I've tried to regain all and recover the drawing but the profile lines are not showing in the grid.

I found Uncoated Fogra29 the best profile to use with my Epson Inkjet Printer. (better than the default Epson Profile)

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Missing Profile View Band Labels
Jan 20, 2010I cannot for the life of me get the start and end labels for any band to display within a profile view. Each band has the 'label start' and 'label end' labels ticked and the major/minor labels display at every other point but don't display anything at the start of the view or end. The profile views are taken from a simple straight alignment and the profiles themselves extend the full length of the view.

Feb 21, 2011I have a drawing that contains an alignment and 2 profiles (existing and proposed). Call this File A.
I created data shortcuts for these 3 objects and reference them in many drawings.
Last week File A was having some problems, it was inexplicably large and seemed to have some corruption I couldn't fix. So I created a new drawing, call it File B, and promoted the alignment and profiles into it.
I used Data Shortcut Editor to point the data shortcuts to File B. In drawings that already referenced these objects they look like the they are coming through just fine.Â
The problem is that I can't see the profiles listed in the Data Shortcuts section of prospector. The shortcuts folder selected is correct, the xml file is there, it points to File B. The alignment is listed and I can create that reference in a new drawing. I also can't find anything wrong with File B.
