Photoshop :: How To Deactivate CS6 If Application Won't Open
Jul 20, 2013
I previously downloaded a copy of Photoshop CS6 off TPB, but somebody else has the serial number I used, and I can't open the application. I need to know how to deactivate my computer so I can download a trial version from the website.
Â
Also, I can't open the program because when I do, it comes up with a box saying "The serial number 12345678987654321 is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use Photoshop CS6 Extended again on this computer." how to deactivate it without having to open the application, and uninstalling it doesn't deactivate it.
The Elements 11 Organizer icon in my Applications folder has a circle with a slash through it and when I click on it I get the error 'You can't open the application "Adobe Elements 11 Organizer" because it is not supported on this type of Mac.' The packaging for the software clearly states it is compatible with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. I did an uninstall and reinstalled with no other programs running, but still have the same problem. I originally had this software installed on an older Mac Mini running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard with no problems at all. Â I am able to open Elements 11 Editor, however, when I try to open a raw file from my Panasonic Lumix LX7 I get the error 'Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.' Once again, I had no problem opening this file on my Mac Mini and the Lumix LX7 is a supported camera. I am able to open a NEF file from my Nikon D5100, and I am able to open a JPEG file from the Lumix.
I just downloaded photoshop elements. When I try and open the download it asks what application do I want to use to open. I don't know. I have a macbook air.
I'm running Photoshop Elements 10 on Mavericks. On lauch I'm getting an error code 16 and the application doesn't open. I've tried to download and run the license repair from Adobe and it doesn't respond. I've gone in and performed a disk permissions repair, and nothing.
Photoshop CS5.1 crashes when trying to launch the application using a cron script. This happens on two different machines running 10.7.3. Photoshop opens without crashing when manually running the bash script. The same script works both manually and as a cronjob on 10.6.8. When I try to open any photo using PE 11 as the default application, the photo doesn't open. I have to open the application first and then search for and import the photo into the application. Is this the way it is supposed to work?
Using a picture browser or other image management application, after selecting one or more raw files (maybe from different folders), what is the syntax for a call to Lightroom to open those files (best directly in the develop module)? Right now I can ask to open the images in Photoshop/ACR or to open a folder on Bridge, but I can't find out how to do that with LR. I just can't bypass the catalog part which is useless to me.
I have a problem with media libraries in Corel Video Studio Pro X4.
When I close and reopen Studio X4 the library does not contain any media (photo, video, audio). Library exports and imports no luck. It looks as if start Studio the library is reset. A smart package no luck too.
Deleting C:Documents and settings....Ulead SystemsCorel Videostudio Pro14.0pl-PL no luck.
The problem is so serious that adding a HD video again- new proxy file is created- it takes a long time. The old proxy file is correct, but in proxy manager is absent.
AMD Athlon 7860 (DualCore) 2,8GHz, 4GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GTS450 1GB CUDA, Windows XP SP3. VideoStudio with servicepack, DirectX 9.0c. Administrator acount. 40GB free on C: HDD.
I use Lightroom 1.4 and want to upgrade to 3.2. After installing the software I can't open the application (message: the application Lightroom has suddenly stopped...). I tried to remove old prefs, old application, other Adobe prefs and finally all Adobe software but Lightroom refuses to start up. I tried to create another user and for the new user the thing is working. I really really hope to find a way to get it running on my old user-account because of a lot of other software, server-connections etc etc. I am working on Mac OS 10.5.8.
I recently downloaded the free trial of illustrator to my mac and my creative cloud account on my desktop is displaying that I downloaded it but when I click on the illustrator app to open the program, it just takes me back to the creative cloud illustrator website, where I originally downloaded illustrator from. How can I open the illustrator app in order to begin using the free trial of this program?
I have upgraded to Lightroom 5.3. After uploading the software, when I attempt to open the program, I get the message: "The application was unable to open correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. I have not been able to contact Adobe for support.
I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 but get the following alert: "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application." Can it be reinstalled? It is not available under "History" and none of the available installs appear to be for Mac OS X (Version 10.7.4). S
I have PSE9 and a macbook pro 10.9. I lost the original DVD that came with my purchase of PSE. Some files must have gotten corrupted because I can't open the program without reintalling. It says, "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory. Please reinstall the application." I have the serial number and all and I registered the product. Is there somewhere I can download a new copy to install?Â
at photoshop cs6 extended downloaded in july, i now get the following message: "some of the application components are missing from the application directory. please reinstall the application."
I'm trying to start Excel and show the results of some BOM items I have written to a file like item number, part number and description. The task is to find components in an assembly that have a part number longer then 39 characters, due to ERP limitations.
What I´m doing is cycling through all BOM (structured) items on first level and check if the part number is longer then 39 characters.
I write these item number, part number, description to an Excel file (temp.xlsx), so the user sees which Components he has to check for the Part Number (make it shorter). I figured it would be best to do that with an excel file, so the user can save the results to a new file or just check it.
Values will be erased from the temporary excel file afterwards. Here I can't figure out how to start the excel application and open the file in an actual application window if possible.
how to list the results with plain iLogic that would do it too or some other solution to list a snapshot from the BOM.I guess there is no way to add your custom BOMViews ?
I want to uninstall / reinstall Photoshop cs6. When trying to deactivate it, it asks me to connect to the internet. But I am connected and the other help menus of Photoshop (update search, customer service...) connect to the internet without any problem.
Only desactivation fails to connect. Norton Firewall is defined with adobe Photoshop and adobe appl manager authorized.
How can I deactivate Photoshop if the PC is gone? We had a Pc with big problems, on it was Photoshop cs5. Before I have the chance to try it, someone took the pc and destroy it totally to prevent someone to take anything from it specially data. What can I do now, we need this Photoshop on another machine.
will i be able to still open cs2, in order to see my preferences and other settings, to help me set up the cs2 on my new computer? or will it totally not open?
all I run two desktop machines both running (until today) Windows XP. I have now bought a new Vista based machine so I deactivated the CS4 version on one old machine and successfully installed CS4 on my new one. After installation, CS4 told me that I was still running 2 versions of CS4 and I had 30 days to deactivate one of them. Bit odd I thought so back to the old machine and I started up CS4 again and right enough, it was still 'active'. I deactivated it again thinking I must have been mistaken and this time, double checked that it said 'successfully deactivated' however when I restarted, it was active again. As an experiment, I tried this with the second machine and it did the same thing (stays active even after saying it was deactivated).
