Photoshop :: Desktop Application Artwork?
Apr 11, 2005Im doin some artwork for some software that'll sit on the desktop like Winamp does and Im wondering how you get the edges of an oval to look less jaggy?
Ive converted to Index colour cause I understand for desktop stuff like that it cant have antialiased edges right?.....and the bitmap image I have now has awful jaggy edges!
Do I get round it by Stair-stepping?....if so what is it and how do I do it?

Mar 19, 2014I have PSE9 and a macbook pro 10.9. I lost the original DVD that came with my purchase of PSE. Some files must have gotten corrupted because I can't open the program without reintalling. It says, "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory. Please reinstall the application." I have the serial number and all and I registered the product. Is there somewhere I can download a new copy to install?Â

Jul 27, 2012I am trying to get the desktop path in an application I made to modify and save the parts list of an IDW. Â I find this code all over the interent and it looks exactly like what I need:
Path = My.computerComputer.FileSystem.SpecialDirectories.Desktop
However when I try to use it it's like the "My" system object isn't there. Â I'm quite sure it has somethign to do with VBA instead of the normal VB. Â How can I accomplish getting the current user's desktop path with inventor VBA?

Jul 2, 2012All of a sudden I notice that when I open a file in Autocad Architecture, it shows the file creation date and not the actual last save date. Only thing I can think of is I reinstalled 3dsmax Design and I wonder if that changed something. I attached a screenshot for reference.

Apr 24, 2013today I had opened my photoshop file which I was coloring ( a comic page) I allready spend 3days on this comic and I just don't wanne start over .I was working on it in CS6, As friends suggested I had opened it aswell in CS5 to try if it works there but no it didn't. I also placed it in AI, but sadly again the ugly line picture shows up .

Photoshop :: CS6 Palettes Need Application Frame
Dec 11, 2012I use two monitors, one for my canvus and the other for all my palettes. Which means my palettes are outside the application frame. With this setup, my mouse is very "jerky" when rolling over the layers palette, or others (takes a few sconds to notice). But once I move the palettes within the application frame the mouse is very smooth.I am able to produce this on two Macs.

You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use Photoshop CS6 Extended again on this computer." how to deactivate it without having to open the application, and uninstalling it doesn't deactivate it.

It obscures the desktop and any other application windows that I'm not using, and so I can't use the Finder as I've become accustomed to using it.If there was a way to have the Application Frame hide when not in Photoshop I'd be a happy camper.

Jan 29, 2013I un-installed CS5 when I got additional memory on my MacBook Pro. Wben I re-installed CS5 I moved the application icon to my desktop. When I clicked on the icon I got a screen that said. Here's the problem:Â When I try to open Photoshop by double clicking on a file icon (such as a .jpg), I get this message:Â "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory, Please reinstall the application." So - I uninstalled and then reinstalled everything, but it still doesn't work. Also another icon appears in the Dock on the far right.

If I launch Photoshop first, and then open files from within the application, the files open without a problem. But I'd rather not have to do this all the time.

With InDesign and Illustrator, another icon appears in the dock as well when I double-click on a file - but I don't get the message and can access the file with no problem.
Photoshop :: CS6 Application Moved Error
Aug 19, 2013Today I have started getting an error message that Photoshop has moved. I only get this message if Photoshop is not running and I right-click on something and choose to Open With Photoshop.
If I launch Photoshop first and then right-click open with Photoshop everything is fine. If the Application really had moved then shouldn't Photoshop complain when I double click on it in the Finder or open it through spotlight?

Sep 16, 2007I am relatively new to the digital imaging community. Reason I am here is I am looking for a image management or digital imaging software that will allow me to create my own web gallery that I can style and tailor myself and also be able to assign keywords to images in the application.
However, as I will be uploading a large collection of images I will need a search mechanism or the ability to upload the metadata, i.e the keywords for each image. So I will be able to find certain images I am interested in viewing, effectively and efficiently.
Do any of you guys know of any application that will do all these things?
I trust alot of you are very knowledgable in this area and probably professionals, I was wondering if anybody could give me a hand?
