How do I get numbering like the attached image using text in photoshop? I have photoshop elements 9. Basically I just want to be able to type out numbers within boxes, or some other solution that will give me this desired effect easily.
When I try use ' TCOUNT ' with mtext, the numbering increments not by the value I enter (ie 1,1) but rather by the number of lines in the mtext; 3 lines of mtext would count 1, 4, 7, 10, 13...). BUT this only happens if the 'enter' button was pressed to start a new line.
how i can number multiple images without going through every one and typing the number.
I've just took photos of a wedding, and i have 180 photos that need numbering so i can put on to CD for the bride and groom to choose from. I will make a checklist on paper and they can check off the number of the photo.
After doing all the post processing of my RAW file and saving as JPEG, the dialog changes the file number to one that has been used before and asks if I want to replace it. It is usually a number a few back. I have to manually change the number to match the original. Sure slows things down and if I'm not vigilant could end up overighting a file.
Is there a way to auto number files with the file number (less .jpeg) and save without having to let my computer grind to a halt, as it does using Automate, contact sheet. The objective is to create a preview set for distribution to clients with the file number annotated at bottom centre. Also, is there any way of creating the text/font/colour/stroke of my choice?
On my website below (link at bottom), I have all my photos watermarked for obvious reasons, this is done by a normal batch convert action using CS2,the gallery is actually a modified Photoshop "Simple" type of thing.
All of the information you see on the image is actually part of it except for the image number, which is put there by your browser. What I'd like to be able to do is have that image number actually as part of the image and NOT seperate,so if someone saves it they still have that number visible.
Now I can do this manually, but I'd have to increment it by 1 every time by hand, and then copy & paste it onto the resized image by hand, which will take a long, long time. Is there any way I can get PS to do this automatically for me,so I either specify the starting number,or it actually takes the file name (minus the extension,so no JPEG etc after it)and adds this text to the watermark layer while I put the kettle on?
When I create a new layer, Photoshop automatically assigns a number to that layer (i.e. Layer 51). Is there a way I can reset this numbering system? When I start a new folder with a new set of layers, I want it to begin on #1 again. How do I do this?
I need Photoshop to save my files with automatic consecutive numbering.I have lots of image files with several photos and/or negatives scanned in each image file. I need to individually select every photo or negative to be able to cut and paste in a new file and then saving every pasted photo/negative in a separate image file. Â Now, I have automated the cut and paste process, and also recorded some effects with Actions, but when I come to saving the files I always get prompted to enter a file name no matter if I record the save as "Save" or "Save as". Â Is it possible to make Photoshop saving each file automatically with an automatically assigned number? Example: Photo0003.tif, and the next file Photo0004.tif, and so forth. Just so I won't need to enter a file name manually each time? Â Saving by Batch processing is not a solution since every file I open have to be divided into like 12 new separate files and saved with different names.I use both CS2, CS5 and could sit with another machine with CS6 if thats whats needed for the job.
On PSE12, can I make the caption I have given a photo to appear on thumbnail within an album? Is it possible to not have the # of the photo within the album to appear in the upper left corner of the thumbnail?
I'm trying to batch save a series of PNG animation files using the File => Scripts => Export Layers to Files action in Photoshop CS5. Each layer has a transparency and a shadow that have been converted from layer effects and "baked" into the image. I tried the batch save but it turned all of the transparencies solid with white backgrounds. Also the image size was not cropped to the dimensions of the object on each layer. Â Lastly, is there a way to edit the numbering for each file? When the images were exported it created a lengthy set of numbers after each file name when all I need is a 00 padding.
how to do sequential numbering in CorelDraw or is it even possible? From time to time we are required to produce items that have sequential numbering, say, from 1 to 200 for example. If it were only "one set" that would be no problem, but when it is 5, 10 or more sets then it is very time consuming.
Is there a method of automatically adding page numbers that will auto update as pages are moved, added, or deleted.
I often produce documents with a considerable number of pages which I am then asked to change after the first draft. I currently add page numbers manually in order to control the style etc, but there must be a better way.
I use a template for all my drawings that includes a page number in the lower right hand corner (usually says "Page 1 of 4" for example). I usually edit this number manually, which is fine for documents with a small amount of pages, but if I'm working on a large document (50+ pages) and need to re-order some pages it means editing the page number on every page manually.
Is there some way of having the number in a piece of artistic text dynamically update depending on what page number it's on?
There has been dicussion in the past about renaming and renumbering images ,sometimes other software was recommended.
Any way to do this in windows from XP and beyond. It may be a bit basic, but if you keep the same name for a batch of images you can easily number them sequentially, I have numbered over 900 images in a few seconds.
In XP- Select all the images you want numbered. Right click the 1st one and select rename Name the image and type a number you wish to start with in brackets ( )immediately after the nameClick on the 1st image and all your images will be numbered sequentially. If you want to use more images later in this way you can follow on with the next number to have a continuing sequence.
In my company we use the SSM and label our sheets as follows:
(Sheet Number) - (Sheet Title)
G-1.00 - Summary of Quantites
WM-1.01 - Water Main
etc...
In the border we would like to put page SHEET XX OF YY. The Total count is simple with a custom field however how would I get the XX part to show the sheet number as a number and not G-1.00.
What I'd like to know is if there's a way to automatically update the sheet number in separate dwgs.
For example: at work we have 45 separate dwgs in multiple disciplines. Is there a way to have the "x" in "Sheet X of 45" update automatically on each sheet? This way whenever we insert/delete a sheet in the set it automatically knows which number it is in regard to the set as a whole.
Is there any (easy) way to re-number in sequential order my 6000 images *without* changing the names of the individual files? Â My setup: Â LR v5.3 6000 images in a master Nikon file
About 40 sub-folders inside of that Master Nikon Folder..Just one catalog for all that's described above. My preferred view in the Library is Capture Order.
CorelCAD, looking for a way to create vertical incremental numbering for schematic line number referencing. Â Don't see any way to do it with table. Â want to maintain control of vertical spacing.
When I want to add page numbers, I only get a number on page One (or on whatever page I'm on) and nowhere else. I tried everything. When I go to Page Number Setting and change it to start at page 2 and want to add page numbers to all pages, nothing happens if I stand on page 1, or I get a number on whatever page I'm on. But only there. Am I supposed to do all pages one by one?
I remember using this function before, not sure which version/update but it worked. Not sure why it's not working anymore.
Normally you start with new models/assemblies/and drawings when you use the templates the naming by default is part1.ipt, assembly1.iam, drawing1.idw
I am currently at part431.ipt and assemby57.iam
I am concerned I may eventually reach part1000.ipt LOL
Not welds from a model, but if I go through 4 .idw sheets of details...and annotate all of my welds is there a way to assign numbers to them without manually entering them?
Our welds are track by number through QA, and depending on the amount of sheets and welds in a set of drawings for a given assembly, sometimes it's a real chore when you realize you forgot to add a weld to something on page 2 when you've already edited weld tails through page 5.

Anyway, I have an .idw series of drawings that i want to start at sheet #13. How? It is a clients title block and the format is "sheet 1 of 8, sheet 2 of 8, etc." so I need sheet 13 of 26, etc..
I am trying to number my doors, and the door tag (AEC6_Door_Tag), won't let me create door numbers with 3 digits. I have never had this problem before. It keeps creating tags with 2 digits.Â
Im having to cloud Revisions to my drawings. Heres what my Revision Schedule needs to be like  Revision 2        (Tag # 4) Revision 1        (Tag # 2) Bid Issue          (No Tag)  Is there any way to change the Tag number? Because right now this is what im getting  Revision 2        (Tag # 2) Revision 1        (Tag # 1) Bid Issue          (No Tag)
Lets say for e.g. that I have 12 parts within an assembly, once auto balloon has done it’s job you notice that No. 9 balloon is blank and No. 10 balloon only shows 1 and not 10.
