When I want to add page numbers, I only get a number on page One (or on whatever page I'm on) and nowhere else. I tried everything. When I go to Page Number Setting and change it to start at page 2 and want to add page numbers to all pages, nothing happens if I stand on page 1, or I get a number on whatever page I'm on. But only there. Am I supposed to do all pages one by one?
I remember using this function before, not sure which version/update but it worked. Not sure why it's not working anymore.
I have the page numbering macro. It works on new files; however, it doesn't work on specific saved files. What could be wrong with those files? Is there any way to enable the page numbering macro in those files?
Is there a method of automatically adding page numbers that will auto update as pages are moved, added, or deleted.
I often produce documents with a considerable number of pages which I am then asked to change after the first draft. I currently add page numbers manually in order to control the style etc, but there must be a better way.
I use a template for all my drawings that includes a page number in the lower right hand corner (usually says "Page 1 of 4" for example). I usually edit this number manually, which is fine for documents with a small amount of pages, but if I'm working on a large document (50+ pages) and need to re-order some pages it means editing the page number on every page manually.
Is there some way of having the number in a piece of artistic text dynamically update depending on what page number it's on?
I work with CorelDraw X5 and I wonder if there is a way to insert an application of page numbering that is automatic, which automatically update the page when I add or remove a page, as in the word.I got a number through the macros but the problem is the numbers are fixed and not change. And numeracy not appear on new pages.
FASTER way to Auto-Numbering columns and rows in CorelDrawX6, instead of typing them manually one by one?
For example, as on the picture i have attached, I would like to write Sequences of increasing Numbers from 301 to 328 in a row, only on one page. I Don't want to Number Pages. I am not refering to "Print Merge".
Is there any Automated method to do that, or any Free Macros, like those two commercials here?JH Gimmie Numbers 2.0andPrint Merge Application
How do I renumber a page, starting at any number, eg 120.Reason: I have a catalog, divided into 4 files, gives the first page 1 to page 50, the second page gives the 51 to 100 and so on .. are 214 pages .. how do I get in this second part, put the number of pages, starting with page 51?
I need to be able to automatically number pages with a preset. Coreldraw can already do what I need using the PageNumbering macro but I have to enter the individual settings for each template every time. I simply want the included PageNumbering macro but with the option to save 5 presets. If possible I would like the option of saving the presets to a file that can be shared with other workstations so I don't have to manually recreate.
For office standards sake, I've created commands in drop menus that allow every employee to use various ‘standard’ page setups: for our plotter, printer and .dwg to .pdf. It's done with a lisp routine that basically looks up a .dwg with all those page setups already created (-psetupin).
Also, I've created 2 custom .pc3 files. The first is called 'Plotter' and the second is called 'Printer'. I did this in order to simply the task of (not) modifying our customization in the event of a dying printer/plotter. These .pc3 files are on our network and every user has access to them via an office profile, with the appropriate Printer Support File Path. We all have the same printer/plotter drivers.
Problem:Everything works fine, except for 2 employees. The lisp routine loads properly, as I can see it go in the command line and the page setup actually loads as well, as its name is in the page setup drop down menu, in the Plot menu. However, the page setup isn't 'selectable'. Also, if we try to 'preview' the plot we get this message: The selected layout has an invalid media configuration.
Every option in the page setup in as wanted (printer/Plotter name, scale, plot area, plot offset, etc.), EXCEPT for the paper size (even though the paper size specified in the lisp routine is available in the paper size list).
95% of the page setups work properly. The only one that don’t work are those for our plotter on paper sizes called ‘A1 (landscape)’ & ‘A0’.
I’ve created new .pc3 files, as I wanted to be sure they weren’t corrupted. We’ve reinstalled the printer/plotter drivers. I’ve reinstalled the office profile. I’ve checked that the paper sizes specified in the lisp routine were available in the .pc3 file.

I am using Corel draw x6 to build a new website for my company. I have tried everything I can find but after exporting to html The resulting web page does not fill the different size screens in the office.
Did Adobe really miss out on an absolutely fundamental requirement in the book module?  I finished my book, went to add page numbers to do the location index, but can't find anything that would automate it. Do I really have to fat finger page numbers?  If so you've got to be kidding.  Books require page numbering.  How could they be so ridiculous as to miss this important function? I'll see if I can take the time to rebuild the book in Blurb's bookify.
I am trying to print a double sided document and the printer has me print all the odd/right pages then flip paper and print the even/left pages.  The first page of the index in my InDesign file (page "a") begins on a left facing page in the document - but prints as a right facing page (starts a new piece of paper). This leaves a blank left-facing page before Page A - and the rest of the index prints with odd pages on right and even pages on left.  How do I eliminate this blank page and have "Page a" begin on a left facing page and the rest of the document print as odd-facing pages on left and even-facing pages on right?   I know there is a work around by overriding master page items and numbering settings - but I hope there is a way through InDesign to fix this.
I'm making a research report on landscape design. The final document would have perhaps pages like 80-90 or so. Earlier I used to make reports and multipage documents on MS Word. While making the contents page, I would have to look at each and every chapter's name, subheading and then add the page number manually. Is there any automatic system in InDesign?  For example if the information about  "Sustainable water management "  is given on page number 63. Then Indesign automatically assigns the page 63 in front of the heading "Sustainable water management " in the contents page?
I have been upgrading to X6 from X5. I wanted to install a CorelDRAW macro called "Function Plotter", written by Alex Vakulenko, into X6. When upgrading from X4 to X5 I just manually placed a certain file (Plotter14.gms) into the Draw GMS folder in the program directory. Then back in CorelDRAW X5 I choose Tools > Options > Customization > Commands in order to place an icon in the toolbar, making access to the macro. It worked back then. However when I try the same procedure in X6 it doesn't work. I can see the file under "Commands" and place an icon, but nothing happens when I press the button. Maybe it has something to do with 64 bit, which from what I can see in this Forum causes a lot of trouble (scanner drivers, plugins, etc)?
This macro is extremely important for me. I have tried contacting Alex, but with no success so far. In the meanwhile I need to install X5 again..
When i click the arrow onto my container, a shape or letters for instance, my image just disappears. i do the exact same procedure in corel x3 and it works so it not user error.
Half the time I use TRIM tool vector on top of vector it doesn't work.
I can't seem to figure out why in some cases trim works and in others it simply puts the top object under the bottom one instead of trimming it from the bottom one.
Does same thing in X3 X4 and X5?
I've tried everything from making sure both were filled with solid color - all curves closed, nothing else grouped with them - nothing - sometimes I have to try a couple times doing same thing and it will work, other times not at all - even after trying a save (which sometimes works)
Both top and bottom show on layer one in properties too!
I dobbleclick on fill-color icon in lower right side of the screen to change the fill-color. But no dialog-box appear. But if I try to click anywhere in Corel after this I just get a beep. Looks like there is a dialog-box outside screen or something.
I just got a new touch screen computer and Photo-Paint doesn't even respond to touch events. Â Is there a patch for this? Â I also have the unmentionable CC program and it half works by dragging my finger from outside the document then dragging into the doc - which is totally unworkable.
I've read Sony, Toshiba and Asus touch computers aren't compatible with that "other" paint package and Corel. Â What's the workaround? Â This is just a shame that no touch screen computers work with them.
Are there any touch screen computersout there that working with drawing packages? Â Or at least Corel?
Will Corel6 (or later)Â ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is  to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
how to do sequential numbering in CorelDraw or is it even possible? From time to time we are required to produce items that have sequential numbering, say, from 1 to 200 for example. If it were only "one set" that would be no problem, but when it is 5, 10 or more sets then it is very time consuming.
I created a list if voucher numbering from 1001 to 1200, but when I perform the Print Merge, the list shown are with one decimal point i.e. 1001.0, 1002.0, etc....
I quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.
If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?
I was trying to make a 60x100mm voucher with numbering.
The artwork has a bitmap background. The file before I do a print merge is 2MB.
I need a running number from 1001-1200, so after I apply the print merge, it creates 200pgs of the voucher. When I try to save this file, it takes almost half an hour to do so.I think this is due to the heavy file size?In addition, the local print shop knows nothing about print merge and imposition, so I have to prepare the artwork readily in A3 size to print. The imposition creates a 10pgs files.I wanted to save this as PDF to preserve the color, but it turned out to be a nightmare (in daytime) for me that it takes more than2 hours to generate the 10pgs PDF.
