I dobbleclick on fill-color icon in lower right side of the screen to change the fill-color. But no dialog-box appear. But if I try to click anywhere in Corel after this I just get a beep. Looks like there is a dialog-box outside screen or something.

I have a chance to design it myself and send a .cdr file to the company that manufactures it. I have some questions. I drew a basic shape of the suit and split it into 3 objects like this: URL....
Black legs is object 1, middle 2-color part is object 2 and white top is object 3, I wasn't able to fill the middle part with a black-white pattern unless I made it an object. I surely know there is a way to do it all with only 1 object that is divided into 3 sections but how? Smart fill works when you just draw some lines that form a closed contour but regular fill doesn't. Secondly, how to use a pattern fill that doesn't affect outlines? Third question is how to nudge only part of an object, for example if I want to make sleeves longer? Now I'm able to move the whole object only.
Until recently, CorelDraw X3 was working just fine. Now however, whenever I change an object's line or fill attributes, CorelDraw automatically sets those as the new defaults, overriding the defaults I had previously set. Clicking on a a color in the palette with nothing selected no longer invokes the defaults dialogue box.
I've looked through the various options dialogues in case I had inadvertently checked a box I shouldn't have, but I can't find anything. I've been using Draw since version 2, so I'm pretty familiar with it. I've never encountered this behavior before. I've had X3 installed for about 3 years or so.
I'm running CorelGraphics X3 SP2 in Vista, 2GB RAM, Nvidia graphics.
I am using Corel draw x6 to build a new website for my company. I have tried everything I can find but after exporting to html The resulting web page does not fill the different size screens in the office.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been upgrading to X6 from X5. I wanted to install a CorelDRAW macro called "Function Plotter", written by Alex Vakulenko, into X6. When upgrading from X4 to X5 I just manually placed a certain file (Plotter14.gms) into the Draw GMS folder in the program directory. Then back in CorelDRAW X5 I choose Tools > Options > Customization > Commands in order to place an icon in the toolbar, making access to the macro. It worked back then. However when I try the same procedure in X6 it doesn't work. I can see the file under "Commands" and place an icon, but nothing happens when I press the button. Maybe it has something to do with 64 bit, which from what I can see in this Forum causes a lot of trouble (scanner drivers, plugins, etc)?
This macro is extremely important for me. I have tried contacting Alex, but with no success so far. In the meanwhile I need to install X5 again..
I recently switched to coreldraw x5. is there a way to change default guidelines color. and this setting should remain forever.
one more thing i want the green processing filling, which is now present in the background tasks to be visible. ...just like in older versions how can i do it?

I still use Corel Draw 12 and my question is is there an easy or automatic way to make the outline color of an object the same color as the fill color? I do it the hard way of trial and error until I get the right outline color from the color dock/pallette.

I just got a new touch screen computer and Photo-Paint doesn't even respond to touch events. Is there a patch for this? I also have the unmentionable CC program and it half works by dragging my finger from outside the document then dragging into the doc - which is totally unworkable.
I've read Sony, Toshiba and Asus touch computers aren't compatible with that "other" paint package and Corel. What's the workaround? This is just a shame that no touch screen computers work with them.
Are there any touch screen computersout there that working with drawing packages? Or at least Corel?
I need to fill the object with oblique lines of one color - strips rotated 45deg. Among them is empty, that is to be visible below the bottom (lower layer) of this texture. Somehow I can not figure out how to do it: ps textures are useless/complex and other standard off are not "leaky". So far I have dealt with manually, copy lines and trimming.

When i go to convert it into a jpeg in photo paint, the green changes to lime green and the other colors change as well. To florescent vibrant type. This just started happening recently. The company i work for has full dye sublimated uniforms. our customer base would really like to use photographs on their shirts but we are unable to control the colors. We have a color palette that our factory uses to color match everything. how do i change colors in photoshop (channels) to match our color palette in corel so that there is consistency and the images don't appear washed out or flat.?

If you look at the Property Manager Window with Artistic Text selected go to the 5th tab (format). On the bottom is background color: with two drp downs. One for textbox background and one for character background.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from corel 12 to X6. I work in SignLab e6 on my production computer. Now since I have upgraded when I export files from x6 and import them into SignLab e6 they will not import unless I change everything to 1 color. If it does export the file as full color, when I import the file it is converted to 1 color. This takes a lot of time to re color everything. I typically have to export files from Corel as .EPS in order for the file to import into Signlab with best quality, but have been using the CMX (legacy) lately with same results. I dont understand why I have to convert them into 1 color nor why they convert from full color to 1 color.

Below is the photo I want changed and the next photo (not mine) is approx. the color I saw the sun as (perhaps a little redder). I want "my" sun filled with that color.
Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
I have followed the instructions carefully and am unable to fill anything.
I make a rectangle. Choose the colour from the palette, drag the little coloured box over to the rectangle and release. Nothing. Many years ago I used my brothers Corel draw, so I know ( or knew then ) how to colour a rectangle.
