I have downloaded some free brushes to try out, and can upload them no prob. but can only add them to preset groups of brushes (such as basic brushes, calligraphic brushes etc. As i have a lot of brushes to add, the group becomes big and hard to manage.
Is there a way I can add a new group of brushes, where I can put all of my custom brushes, to keep them seperate from photohsops preset brushes?
I use windows/cs2
I am using Photoshop CS3 and I am in need to putting a copyright label on my album of photographs for online use. I there a simple way to add this to each photo all at once?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there is a way to create a group of vertices, edges or faces and somehow create a reference point or attach them to some kind of locator so they can be referenced at a later point. I want to be able to select a group of edges, model them and then move on to another task within Maya and have some kind of reference point so I can go back to the original group and not have to select them individually every time I want to work on that group of edges, faces or vertices, is this possible? I will post a picture shortly to this post so you can see an example of a specific group of edges that I would like to set a reference point or locater for.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a drawing of an airplane, it has lots and lots of objects. I need to change the color of a bunch of these objects without affecting their stack order.
In a simple example, the left wing and the right wing need to be blue, but the fuselage in between them needs to stay white. If I group the wings, it moves them both on top of the body.
Is there any way to re-color all my airplane parts with one click without moving them all to the front?
I want each one of these textures to be made into it's own brush too so when I use the brush too the textures and colours come out. I'm making an rpg. I'm using cs4

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn pervious versions of photoshop you could make a path with the pen tool and press esc to basically deselect the path without closing it. This would also allow you to make multiple paths so that you could keep making lines and then stroke them all at once. This no longer works with photoshop CC. Pressing esc just deselects the path but when you try to start a new path it continues the first one. Is there anyway to get this feature back in CC? It is such a waste of time to stroke individual paths instead of drawing all the lines with the pen tool and stroking them all at once.

However after following all of the instructions up to the point where I am supposed to select the area to define I can go no further. It says to select the image/text and then go to edit -> define brush. When I do this the define brush option is faint and I cannot select it. The videos all appear to be done using Elements 11 or earlier. It this a glitch with 12?

I am trying to create a brush of a bubble. The end result I want is a colored bubble with a white shine like in this tutorial [URL]...... I am trying to make it into a brush so that I can replicate it easily and add an overlay to make the color.
I am having difficulty getting color in the middle and white as the edge/shine. I keep getting color as the shine and white in the middle. I suppose I am doing something wrong with the choice of white, black, gray, and alpha while making the brush.
I am having trouble saving my brush stroke as described in the tutorial in the official guide 'creating and saving your own brush stroke' chapter 10.
I can't figure out how to save it?
I was creating a new brush stroke when I tried to save it Corel stopped working it is happening quite often.

I have table, several chairs and some glasses and plates on table. I want to group them and instance that group, hundred of times. Problem is that I do not have materials implemented and I will not until client is satisfied with arrangement. I have problems later, even using many scripts I found, to add material to all instances. Only way is to select one by one.
Other thing is that there might be new objects added into set, so best way would be to add to master group and that will be added in instances of that group automatically, but that does not work with Maya.

How (what kind of object) do you need to create a brush stroke in which the fill follows the path?
I created a rectangular object and filled it with an appropriate fountain fill - saved the brush stroke following instructions. The result is that the fountain fill does not follow the curve but stays horizontal.
Trying to use a mesh fill results in the message "the object does not work well in a brush stroke" and is refused.
Second question:Draw X contains a multitude of brush strokes, patterns, etc. How can these be made usable in TDX5?
The brush size on my paint brush and clone stamp are not working properly.

No matter what 1 single pixel brush i use this will happen... no matter which computer i use cs6 on and different copies of the installation. Anyway have any insight into this? frankly... it's somewhat limiting that i can't use the brush for stroking a shape if i need a pixel line and yet soft curves that a pencil won't get you.
I am not very good with photoshop, and if there was a brush tool setting to make it just like an actual paint brush.

When I change the settings for 1 brush... say I add some jitter to a smooth brush - then suddenly the other brushes get the same jitter applied to them.
How can I set the brushes so that each brush has a different setting that doesn't change when I change any other brush settings?
p.s. I also don't get why Adobe has you lock a brush by UNlocking it? Seems to me it should be the other way around?
I have contacted Adobe about issues with Photoshop brushes recently. My issue is that the brush size is smaller than the circle that represents the brush. In other words, when I hoover over the area that I want to paint or erase with the circle and then click, the painted or erased area is smaller that the circle. It's really frustrating when fine tuning an image, you never know how close you are to what you want to correct. This is only visible when you zoom in quit a bit. I worked with an Adobe tech for over an hour and he could not simulate the problem. Then he finally asked if I was using a retina display, (he was not).

in the presettings i saw the brush was set to normal size.also i played with the jitter sizes, to no avail.
When I use the Adjustment Brush in Camera Raw it frequently just gives me a pin instead of a brush. How can I fix this? I'm on a Mac in Snow Leopard.
