I am using Photoshop CS3 and I am in need to putting a copyright label on my album of photographs for online use. I there a simple way to add this to each photo all at once?

Granted, I know that the watermark is there to prevent a picture as being claimed by someone else. However if that picture is changed and no longer the original, is it then fair game to remove the watermark?
I have tried using the Alt + 0169 also tried Alt G. neither method works, the symbol does not appear.

I have read the tutorial and it instructs me to open "file" and select "multiple", however, that is not an option when I open "file". Where am I going wrong? How do I accomplish this task? In addition, is there a way when I create a watermark to save it so I can use it as needed to future photos?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have reviewed a couple of videos on how to create a watermark "stamp" by using the define brush option. However after following all of the instructions up to the point where I am supposed to select the area to define I can go no further. It says to select the image/text and then go to edit -> define brush. When I do this the define brush option is faint and I cannot select it. The videos all appear to be done using Elements 11 or earlier. It this a glitch with 12?

I have downloaded some free brushes to try out, and can upload them no prob. but can only add them to preset groups of brushes (such as basic brushes, calligraphic brushes etc. As i have a lot of brushes to add, the group becomes big and hard to manage.
Is there a way I can add a new group of brushes, where I can put all of my custom brushes, to keep them seperate from photohsops preset brushes?

I would like to add a hidden watermark to my photos, but not sure how to do so. I did find a tutorial of how to make the watermark in GIMP, but it was written using an old version of GIMP. I have the current 2.8 version.
View 6 Replies View Related40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
I was wondering if there is a way to create a group of vertices, edges or faces and somehow create a reference point or attach them to some kind of locator so they can be referenced at a later point. I want to be able to select a group of edges, model them and then move on to another task within Maya and have some kind of reference point so I can go back to the original group and not have to select them individually every time I want to work on that group of edges, faces or vertices, is this possible? I will post a picture shortly to this post so you can see an example of a specific group of edges that I would like to set a reference point or locater for.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a drawing of an airplane, it has lots and lots of objects. I need to change the color of a bunch of these objects without affecting their stack order.
In a simple example, the left wing and the right wing need to be blue, but the fuselage in between them needs to stay white. If I group the wings, it moves them both on top of the body.
Is there any way to re-color all my airplane parts with one click without moving them all to the front?
One of my designers running 2012 AutoCAD and 2012 CADWorx, can no longer select individual parts of a GROUP by shift selecting the unwanted elements.

I have table, several chairs and some glasses and plates on table. I want to group them and instance that group, hundred of times. Problem is that I do not have materials implemented and I will not until client is satisfied with arrangement. I have problems later, even using many scripts I found, to add material to all instances. Only way is to select one by one.
Other thing is that there might be new objects added into set, so best way would be to add to master group and that will be added in instances of that group automatically, but that does not work with Maya.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI created a custom brush with my logo on it and then created an action that puts my copyright logo as watermark. The problem is copyright logo gets placed on different places on different size image. For example, I created the action to put logo on the lower right hand corner of a standard 800x640 pixel horizontal image. When I run this action on a vertical image, logo gets placed somewhere on the top. If the image is in higher resolution, logo gets placed somewhere in the middle.
How can I modify the action so the copyright logo gets placed in the same place? I guess I am thinking if there is a way I could calculate the image size and put the logo from certain percentage away from the lower end corner automatically?

It's an e-commerce site for some sports related jewelry that he made, and he wants to protect the logos we worked on and the site design. What I've usually seen are people slapping a copyright date on their work and calling it good. However, I don't think that's really going to protect anything from being ripped off. I'm looking at websites and what it looks like is that I have to get an attorney and file some paperwork with the US Copyright Office.

I'm doing some pictures for tshirts and I want to use art work from the different periods from history. Like works for cezanne, picasso, monet, etc. How does copyright work for artists like these? My photos are all stuck with "© 2011 My Name, all rights reserved." How can I change it so that the metadate shows "© 2012 My Name, all rights reserved."? I know I can edit the metadata, but I have thousands of photos with the wrong date, and I cannot find where the text is stored.
Where can I change this so that all photos taken this year have the correct copyright date? Did I enter this text somewhere? In some Preferences panel? If so, I can't find it. I have set this to 2012 on the camera, so it's not coming from there. Searching Adobe Photoshop produces nothing useful. Searching the system for the character string produces nothing. Where does this come from?
