I had an alert to update Photoshop but after three attempts it reaches 56% then fails. It is accompanied by a message to contact customer care and gives the number: U44MIP34. I have retried after a restart but with same result. Then I tried again after running AVG registry cleaner equally without success. Could it be a time difference between US and UK?

I am now getting multiple systems that will not open Photoshop CS 6. As soon as PS starts to open, Application Manager starts and prevents PS from opening. The two applications alternate for control with neither being able to open. This problem is also occurring with Illustrator CS 6 and now has started in Photoshop.
When the "fight" starts you have to do a forced shut down (power button for 10 seconds) in order to be able to login. Then Uninstalling the application, either by the Uninstaller of PS or by using the ELA uninstaller created when the Install package is created. Systems are Apple 10.8.2 with Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Created installer for Master Suite.
This has now appeared on six or seven systems of the approximatly 200 that got the install. The applications ran normally with no problems for about two weeks bu now the problems are popping up for no appearent reason.
Suddenly AAM stopped working. Cannot open it. It strats and runs a whilw and then stops but nothing happens? I have PSE 11.

I started getting a popup saying "Adobe Application Manager is missing or damaged" and advising me to download and reinstall AAM. I did that, with no result. The responses from Adobe ("you must have a bad installer"). I was able to leave the beta as it was and use PSCS5.
Fast forward: PSCS6 is released and I purchase and try to install the upgrade, which won't install with the beta present. The Beta uninstaller won't run because of the AAM error. I laboriously search and delete all files related to the beta.PSCS6 release version installs, but when it starts I get a popup witht the same message about AAM. I have spent over 12 hours in chat with Adobe support with only negative results. Not only have they not fixed the problem -- they have managed to propagate it to my PSCS5 installation -- which they subsequently deleted.
As part of attempting to diagnose I have tried the PSCS6 unistaller, which fails with the same error; used the CS cleaner tool and reinstalled -- same problem; verified permissions and file ssytem on my system drive; tried removing CS6 and reinstalling from a new, clean admin account -- same AAM error.
I am at my wits' end with this. I have NO working verion of photoshop (big problem for a photographer/designer), NO confidence in Adobe support (most of the 12 hours was watching them try the same things we had done several times before), and how to fix this short of stripping my Mac back to the metal and reinstalling everything.

I haven't had any problem in the previous two months. I also was just build two weeks ago, and had to update my billing information. I tried online chat, after 30 minutes of typing, I've been disconnected twice. The funny thing is, Photoshop CC does open, and it works fine. View 5 Replies View RelatedI updated Camera Raw today (12-14-12) through the Adobe Software Updater. Now when I start PSE 11, I get a message that the software has exceeded its activation limit.
I rebooted the computer, and the same problem re-occurred. Upon startup, PSE 11 pops up a message that the software activation limit has been exceeded.
Let me be clear, I bought the application from Adobe, I have a valid license that was delivered from Adobe via email, the software has only ever been installed once, on this machine.
The installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 failed - while 2 others update for Photoshop CS6 did install. I was installing Adobe Reader X. That's why I discovered the notification from the application manager about updates for CS6 - and I just confirmed that as well.
Apparently the Reader installation blocked only the update installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - saying another installation process was running ... such stuff happens sometimes.
However, it seems Adobes Application Manager update module does not track its failed installations? It does not automatically advertise that update has not been installed and notifying me again to install it. At least not immediately.. So how do I rerun the Adobe Application Manager update module to check for updates manually?

Whenever I go to open up Adobe Photoshop (64bit or otherwise) it will load up for a second then crash the next. It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but the Adobe Application Manager is also acting weird. When it is opened it freezes and soon crashes saying there is a "Download Error".

I also notice that it creates history entries on the history panel like I'm making adjustments? Weird!
There's been a few other noticeable things too. The liquify window now doesn't draw as nice and smoothly as it did with 13.0.1. The cursor jitters a lot and control isn't as smooth.
I have just updated Illustrator CC to v17.1 and now it will no longer launch.There is a bouncing icon in the dock for about a second and then no activity, no warnings or errors.My mac is quite old (MacPro5.1 Quad-core running osx 10.6.8) which may well be the problem.Never the less Illustrator 17.0 ran perfectly well prior to the update.
Uninstalling Illustrator 17.1 and reinstalling v17.0 works.If Illustrator is allowed to update as recommended it no longer launches.Is there something in the update that prevents my older spec mac from running it?

When I click "Update View" in AutoCAD the command line says, "1 view(s) is up to date.", but the drawing does not change. Both the AutoCAD drawing and the Inventor part file are located on a server drive which is mapped as a network drive. AutoCAD displays the correct path in the drawing view properties. View 3 Replies View RelatedJust started a pen tool exercise in illustrator, at some point while using the pen tool I don't know why or how it happens but my screen stops "updating", "refreshing" or "drawing" while I drag it with the hand tool. What I mean is that if I start dragging with the hand, the rulers move as normal, but anything inside just stays a still picture and only when I release the mouse button is the screen changed to where I have dragged. Although the very edges of the artboard/workspace near the rulers behave normaly, I can see bits and pieces flying past there, but it's like there's this big square at the center of my screen that is a still image.
The problem is only inside Illustrator, the rest of my computer and screen behave normally.
I am using Windows XP SP 3, all updates 'n' stuff.
