The Photoshop 7.0.1 update fails when I try to run it on Windows XP Pro. I have reproduced this error two times, once on a fresh installation of Photoshop 7. I receive a ComponentMoveData Error: Media Name: data Component: FileGroup: File: .
i'm using Photoshop CS6 with Camera Raw 7.0. I have a D800 (which is why I purchased CS6) and attempted to update to CR7.1 I get the following error:  Photoshop Camera Raw 7.1
Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M1P28 Â I've cleared my prefs, tried the standalone installer, rebooted, all to no avail. Â Here is my system info: Â Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x64 Operating System: Mac OS 10.7.2 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:42, Stepping:7 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, HyperThreading Physical processor count: 4 Logical processor count: 8 Processor speed: 3400 MHz Built-in memory: 16384 MB Free memory: 10271 MB Memory available to Photoshop: 15083 MB
I had an alert to update Photoshop but after three attempts it reaches 56% then fails. It is accompanied by a message to contact customer care and gives the number: U44MIP34. I have retried after a restart but with same result. Then I tried again after running AVG registry cleaner equally without success. Could it be a time difference between US and UK?
I get a message on my computer that there's an update to install, but when I attempt to install it, it goes through the motions of installing itself, then says it couldn't install itself and that I have to reinstall the original product so that it can install itself. I'm very reluctant to go through the whole installation process all over again, so I'm curious if there's any other way to get these updates. This is a registered product by the way, in my name.
i get the green progress bar.. then suddenly a error message "can not install application manager".of course no further explanation... tried a few times.we use CS6 with a volume license at work.
I updated Camera Raw today (12-14-12) through the Adobe Software Updater. Now when I start PSE 11, I get a message that the software has exceeded its activation limit.  I rebooted the computer, and the same problem re-occurred. Upon startup, PSE 11 pops up a message that the software activation limit has been exceeded.  Let me be clear, I bought the application from Adobe, I have a valid license that was delivered from Adobe via email, the software has only ever been installed once, on this machine.
this has been only happening since updating this morning from 13.0.1 - 13.0.2...I have a problem where if I create a new curve layer and then press the preview button on/off it fails to re render the preview and nothing else happens until I OK it. I also notice that it creates history entries on the history panel like I'm making adjustments? Weird! Â There's been a few other noticeable things too. The liquify window now doesn't draw as nice and smoothly as it did with 13.0.1. The cursor jitters a lot and control isn't as smooth.
I have just updated Illustrator CC to v17.1 and now it will no longer launch. There is a bouncing icon in the dock for about a second and then no activity, no warnings or errors. My mac is quite old (MacPro5.1 Quad-core running osx 10.6.8) which may well be the problem.Never the less Illustrator 17.0 ran perfectly well prior to the update. Â Uninstalling Illustrator 17.1 and reinstalling v17.0 works. If Illustrator is allowed to update as recommended it no longer launches. Is there something in the update that prevents my older spec mac from running it?
When I place an Inventor 2012 part into an AutoCAD 2012 layout, the drawing view fails to update after a change is made to the Inventor file. When I click "Update View" in AutoCAD the command line says, "1 view(s) is up to date.", but the drawing does not change. Both the AutoCAD drawing and the Inventor part file are located on a server drive which is mapped as a network drive. AutoCAD displays the correct path in the drawing view properties. Running Windows 7 x64.
Just started a pen tool exercise in illustrator, at some point while using the pen tool I don't know why or how it happens but my screen stops "updating", "refreshing" or "drawing" while I drag it with the hand tool. What I mean is that if I start dragging with the hand, the rulers move as normal, but anything inside just stays a still picture and only when I release the mouse button is the screen changed to where I have dragged. Although the very edges of the artboard/workspace near the rulers behave normaly, I can see bits and pieces flying past there, but it's like there's this big square at the center of my screen that is a still image. Â The problem is only inside Illustrator, the rest of my computer and screen behave normally. Â I am using Windows XP SP 3, all updates 'n' stuff.
I updated a working cad station with the lastest pathes. It loaded the new MS Dot Net framework 4. Now Acad crashes if you open it, see below. If you click on an existing drawing it opens and you can work with no problems.
My question is - Is Acad 2011 compatable with the new DotNet 4? The fault module below is DotNet. The old drawings were created using 3.51 DotNet so it looks to me it tries to use the dot net 4 on new drawing.

Parts generated with the FG can be changed with the 'Change' option within the Frame Generator menu in the Design -tab on the ribbon.
However, when I change the size of the profile thru this menu all properties will be changed according to the settings of the table in the Content Center, except the Description property.
The Description column in the table is configured with the size of the profile and is mapped to 'project.description'.
i just noticed that there is no manual update file for ACR 7.2. most of our company computers are offline.  how should we update them without a manual update file?  [URL]..........  adobes says the final ACR 7.2 update is available through the CS6 update.well that is of no use when you have offline computers. This update will be released as manual update file too?! any infos?
When transfering images from Lightroom to Photoshop HDR for instance. message says update Camera Raw. Update attempts all come back to 'update server is not in service' --
I get the following error message when I attempt to update X6. Â Not sure what to do about it.
CRC error: The file C:ProgramDataCoralDRAW Graphics Suite X6.1CGS16w_cproc_p_11.1.048_redist_intel64.exe doesnt match the file in the setup's .cab File. The medium from which you are running the setup may be currupted; contact your software vender.
I made a change to my materials library. Â I changed the color (from dark grey to light grey) of one material. Â I then saved this back to my library.
Now, when I start a new part, I get a warning that the material does not match the library. Â So, rather than using the material in the part, I opened the template and updated the material to match the library. (Manage >Update Styles).
This is where the problems come into play. In the update styles dialog, if I compare materials against my custom materials and then compare it to my Favorites, it just a continuious circle. Â It is like the favorites are stored inside the part and do not get updated to match the custom materials library. (I thought the whole idea behind using a library was to get the information out of the parts).
Here is a short video showing what it does. [URL] .....
The only way I can get the favorites to match is to delete the favorite material, update the style and the add the favorite back in. Â That is a bunch of work. Â The problem I got with this is that there are thousands of parts that have been created that has this favorite in it. Â The only way to update these is to open each part (if I knew which one), delete the favorite, update the materials and then add the favorite back in.
Photoshop 11.0 on Mac OS X 10.7.3 Â After reinstalling Photoshop on my new iMac I'm unable to run the 11.0.2 upgrade installer. It tells me that 11.0.2 is "already installed".The "About" box in Photoshop shows the version as 11.0.
My old computer had meltdown, smoke and all so i have bult a a new one but PS 4 Extended wont install correctly on Win 7 64 bit. it will get about 75% on the progress bar and then says it failed and do I want to continue. My install is a download version. I dont see it on my Adobe account anymore to download a new copy.  the compute is a Intel i5, 10 G of ram that I have been running Premiere Pro CS4 on with no problem.
I'm trying to install Photoshop CS6 trial on a Alienware MX17 Windows 7 64bit laptop, and it fails everytime. My videoo drivers are the latest it's possible to get, I also have all the latest windows updates installed. It goes through to the "Currently Installing Adobe Fonts Recommended x64" and hangs there.
It does not quit, the minutes remaining just keeps getting longer and longer. I left it running overnight once just in case is was very slow for some reason, the next morning when I checked it, it was in the same place, same percentage and the time remaining was several weeks. I've tried using the Installer, I've manually downloaded it. Neither work. I've tried with and without Administer rights.
The Adobe Support Assistant does give me the "The computer wants to reboot" error a few times, but there was never a "inprogress" entry in the registry as suggested by[URL]...Here is a link to my latest log file. This is a brand new laptop, the only Adobe products installed are acrobat and reader.p[URL]...
Using Vista 64-bit, installed PS CS4 the other day. I have been using the 64 bit version fine with no problems. However, I downloaded a plugin that only works in the 32-bit version, so I tried to launch the 32-bit version from the start menu, and the splash screen comes up for a few seconds, then an error message saying "Adobe Photoshop CS4 has stopped working". The splash screen is stuck on "Building TWAIN menu items..." This also happens when I try to start the program from the photoshop.exe in Program Files (x86) folder.
I installed LR 2.3RC a day or two ago and life seemed fine until I installed two plugins for CS4: Nik Sharpener and OnOne PhotoFrame 4.0
Now when I attempt to open images from LR, CS4 opens up but the image never appears and LR pops up an error message saying "The image could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop CS4 failed to launch"
It gets halted when initializing palettes... I get the error: "Faulting application photoshop.exe, version 10.0.1.0, faulting module adobeowl.dll, version 1.0.92.0, fault address 0x00069b7d." the computer lab has other computers with the same hardware configuration . On those computers Photoshop works smoothly I am using Win XP sp2.
I am trying to install the Photoshop CS4 trial version on Windows 7 x64. After the two files download I run the exe file and it extracts all the files from the .7z file. Nothing happens after that, and if I goto the extracted files and try to run setup.exe it says that windows cannot find the specified file, and I might not have sufficient permissions. I am running this under my account with administrator privileges though.

I do have several versions of Elements. [I don't want to run CS3Cleanup at level 4.] My Acrobat reader may be version 6 [as I use Foxit]. Tried this several more times. Same result.
Open application, within 15sec there is a white empty pop up rectangular box on screen and my hour glass ticks away. Can not start the program/open a file. Force quit trigger shows "Photoshop not responding".  Reboot my MaC did not sort this. Checked with CC and the PS is up to date.  Should I re-download the app?
I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop cs6 just to test it, but it fails to launch. A Window comes up once I start it and I says "Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to shut down", and obviously I can't even start it to see what it might be.  I have tried everything, removing and re-installing etc.. I have tried to get customer help but they are unable to give me a proper fix.  When I click at the botton, "To see what data this error report contains, click here."  AppName: photoshop.exe          AppVer: 13.0.0.0          ModName: photoshop.exe ModVer: 13.0.0.0              Offset: 012378bb
When i go into Edit > Remote Connections and enable it, then set a password and click ok, I get the following error:"Could not complete the Remote Connections command because of a program error"  This used to work fine, not sure what has changed. On win7 x64. CS5.5 Extended (12.1), when i try to connect and send a script, I always get: "Error handling network messge". I suppose these two are related?
