We have just finished installing a new Photoshop trial and opened the program but for some reason the menues and icons are so zoomed out that we can't see/read them
We have tried changing it in setting with no luck and we can't seem to chance the view into full screen due to the option seemingly being inactive. The program is for my mother and her vision is to poor to read any of it.
I am running a subscription to Creative Cloud on a new Windows laptop....just Photoshop to start with. The fonts and icons are so small I can hardly see them...I have to get really close to the screen. I went to Edit >Preferences >Interface and changed the font size from medium to large but that didn't work (or if it did, the change was negligible). My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080 (recommended). I tried lowering it but that only changed the sizes of the fonts on my desktop, not in Photoshop. I run PS cs4 on my old laptop and never have had this problem.

I've tried some dedicated programs like Microangelo but PS has more tools and effects.
I just tried running this program on a computer running on Windows 7 professional OS. When I tried to share the album I created by exporting to CD/DVD, the preview showed only small thumbnail icons without the pictures. I tired to troubleshoot the compatibilty but did not seem to work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

I'm on WinXP, Athlon 64 4000+, 3GB ram, GeForce 6800 GT video card [driver 181.20]. I'm not sure if this is a video driver bug or CS4 bug.
I'm using photoshop CC on amacbook pro retina. I mainly use photoshop for web design and when I open a document that is 300x200 px, the 100% view is too small on screen. It was this way on PS cs6 also before I upgraded. I just tried to delete the prefs file and restarted PS and it did not change. I have also tried to change my screen resolution to "best for retina" and it is still the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an upcoming job which requires me to design a series of icons for screen usage (32x32 pixels). I've had plenty of experience designing icons and logos for print, and would appreciate some tips on the method for designing them for screen.
Is the process just a matter of designing the logos in a vector program, importing them into a 72dpi PS file (32x32 pixels), and then optimising the file in Image Ready? (batch process?).
The icons don't come up at the top and bottom of the page in Organizer and I can't scroll to the bottom of the pagein Elements 11. It's like the entire page doesn't fit on the computer screen.

I had two small files open, went from paper space to model space on one of them and BAM! flashing icons and prolonged lag time while the file went from model to paper space. Then after that every command (except Save) evoked some serious lag time and flashing icons.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAs you can see by the image below, my menu bar titles at the top are small and blurry, plus anywhere there is a text field box (i.e. length & width text fields in the Image Size window) it is collapsed vertically and therefore I can't see what my values are. You can also see the 3 check mark boxes at the bottom of the Image Size window are cut off. I previously had CS6 installed on a Window XP machine without any issues. Now that I have "upgraded" to Window 7, this is what I get for results after the install.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

I am having problems with my acadlt.pgp file when I take my laptop home with me. I lose all hot key options and can only use the on screen icons, or I can do some commands (save, line, ect.) in longhand command. I was told by our I.T. guy to mention that it could be a "roaming profile" issue? How can I get my hot keys back when i'm disconnected from our work server?? This is actually becoming an occuring issue with others in our department as well.

Seems like the fonts for showing the font technology changed to a font similar to Apple color Emoji, amybe a font in the show package contents.
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen i make my brush size very small (to the point that its only like 4pixels dot on the screen), a crosshair symbol automatically appears around it which makes it hard to see the cursor's surroundings when working on small details without zooming in alot (which would make a 4px cursor appear bigger thus losing the crosshair again). I guess this feature is there for people that might have trouble locating small cursors, but on a large tablet that allows very fast work without having to zoom in much, this makes things harder. Is there a way to disable this or modify some files or "hack" the cursor icons somehow and delete it?
(Tried all possible combinations of the PS prefferences but none of it seemed to be related to the cursor becoming a crosshair once the brush size gets very small relative to screenresolution)
After upgrading to 5.3 I don't have minimize, resize or exit icons at top right of screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI Just bought a new HP laptop and it came with Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 pre installed. When I go to open the program I get the error message 'Cannot initialize application. The screen resolution is too small to play the video. The screen resolution must be set to at least 1024 x 768". Well the screen res is on 1600 x 900, so i thought i would have that covered. I tried changing the screen res to 1024x768 and get the same message.

View 66 Replies View RelatedEvery time I click on an option in Photoshop CC, the menu button freezes on-screen. I will attach some images to better illustrate the problem. This is my screen after opening and closing a file. The respective part of the menu stays frozen on screen:

It happens every time on any button. The only way to clear the screen -ahem, the only way that I know of- is through the screen resolution panel. I just have to switch to a different resolution back and forth and it works. The thing is, this bug will come back as soon as I use the menu, which is, well, very often since I rely heavily on some plugins or actions with no shortcuts.
I have Windows 7 64 bit, an ATI Radeon HD 6500M video card and a Wacom Bamboo Tablet.
For some reason the 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar' option has a blue background now. The background used to be gray, and then one time i opened up Photoshop and now the background is blue. It is very annoying and affects my painting. The grey was neutral, now it is blue so my colors are going to appear off.
If you don't know what i mean: Open Photoshop, make a canvas (new image) Hit the key "F" on your keyboard 2 times so the canvas takes up the entire page but the menu bars are still up. The color around the canvas is Blue, when it has ALWAYS been gray.
