View 2 RepliesI have adobe photoshop elements 11. I am trying to figure out how to make the options bar and tool icons larger. I am straining my neck and eyes everytime I need to change tools, or change image size/resolution or save my image.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a hard time viewing the tool icons and constantly have to squint and put my face on the screen to choose a tool! I'm using a PC in case that matters.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am running a subscription to Creative Cloud on a new Windows laptop....just Photoshop to start with. The fonts and icons are so small I can hardly see them...I have to get really close to the screen. I went to Edit >Preferences >Interface and changed the font size from medium to large but that didn't work (or if it did, the change was negligible). My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080 (recommended). I tried lowering it but that only changed the sizes of the fonts on my desktop, not in Photoshop. I run PS cs4 on my old laptop and never have had this problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm interested in using PS to design tool icons for application toolbars. This question really relates to using PS for very small images (say less than 32x32 pixels in size). Are they any tips for working with small images in PS that you can share?
I've tried some dedicated programs like Microangelo but PS has more tools and effects.
We have just finished installing a new Photoshop trial and opened the program but for some reason the menues and icons are so zoomed out that we can't see/read them
We have tried changing it in setting with no luck and we can't seem to chance the view into full screen due to the option seemingly being inactive. The program is for my mother and her vision is to poor to read any of it.
I just tried running this program on a computer running on Windows 7 professional OS. When I tried to share the album I created by exporting to CD/DVD, the preview showed only small thumbnail icons without the pictures. I tired to troubleshoot the compatibilty but did not seem to work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing two problems. One is the tool icons in Photoshop are disappearing on the screen. I move the cursor and see nothing on my screen.
The second problem is at other times the proper tool icon and function is not showing up and working. I select for example the pen tool and the hand tool icon show up and the function works as the hand tool not the pen tool?
Which version of Photoshop was the first one to have full size tool bar icons? I have CS6 and they are tiny.
View 18 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do, the text in my photoshop(7.0) stays microscopic.
I have to make it 288pt just to appear to be what's normally 8pts.
I'm working on a project where I need a higher resolution version of the Photoshop and Lightroom tool icons. I've scoured the internet and can't find any icon sets of tools. I could do a screen capture of the tool palette and try to res them up, but they fall apart quickly.
I did open the package contents and poked around in there and found a few things like the eyedropper as PNG files, but could not locate any of the Photoshop tool icons.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have CS5. The photos coming out of the camera are 300 dpi and approx 12.8" x 19.2". When I crop the photo to 300 dpi and 8x10 and send it to print, the printer says the photo is too small. It comes across as 72 dip and 8.333" x 6.667". I was expecting photos to come out of the camera with 72 dpi and a huge length x width. I can then crop and print without issue. Is there a photoshop setting that needs to be set? Is there a different work flow I need to use? I shoot with a 5D Mark III.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHow do you keep very small sized fonts looking good when manipulating them, as in using arc, skew, transform? I can manage this fine on bigger sized fonts, but when I want to make a very small font size arc (for ex to use on an avatar) it ends up looking blurry and not crisp and clean. tried pixel fonts but that was totally unreadable.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm playing around with the new generate plugin and running into an issue. I have a pre-existing set of icons that need to maintain a 70x70 transparent background. Unfortunately when I set up Generate the assets are cropped to the pixel dimension of the graphic.
Is there a work around? Or do I need to go through each asset and resize it to 70x70?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got to the stage where I have to say something, because Photoshop CC is definitely buggy in my experience to date. The one that annoys me the most is that I suddenly get stuck with a small brush tool that won't go away without restarting Photoshop. I can be doing pretty much anything, and suddenly the tool I thought I was using turns into a small brush. it lets me save the file before I have to restart Photoshop.
I also get Photoshop freezing for about 30 seconds when nothing is happening. It was impossible to embarrass my NLE system with CS6. I couldn’t even make it lag, yet alone freeze.
The eraser tool will only appear as small crosshairs no matter what I try.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've created a resume in Photoshop CS5 for OS X - I know, I should've used InDesign but I'm more comfortable working in Photoshop.
The PSD is currently 2550x3300 px (8.5x11 in) at 300 dpi. I'd like to save the resume as a PDF flie so I can submit it online. I have no intentions of printing this particular document. Most websites will only accept a file size of under 1MB. What are the ideal settings for saving a PDF in the smallest file size without sacrificing on image quality? I should also note that I do not have Acrobat Pro.
Why is the text size in the instructional boxes "File", "Edit", "Image" etc: so small that they are almost unreadable. I know its me, but I can't figure out how to fix it.
