View 1 Replies View RelatedI have adobe photoshop elements 11. I am trying to figure out how to make the options bar and tool icons larger. I am straining my neck and eyes everytime I need to change tools, or change image size/resolution or save my image.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing two problems. One is the tool icons in Photoshop are disappearing on the screen. I move the cursor and see nothing on my screen.
The second problem is at other times the proper tool icon and function is not showing up and working. I select for example the pen tool and the hand tool icon show up and the function works as the hand tool not the pen tool?
how to customize the sidebars in my Gimp program. In example the toolbox has the light grey background. I have seen this background on every tutorial and version of Gimp and it seems it is the standard. I would like to personalize these sidebars. Is there a way to alter the code or make a plug in that allows one to change this? I have thought of solid colors like the grey is, but also fading colors or even an image background could be nice.
This is not a request to customize the tool selection but the skin of the boxes themselves.
Where are the Scale Line Width options Icons located?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a project where I need a higher resolution version of the Photoshop and Lightroom tool icons. I've scoured the internet and can't find any icon sets of tools. I could do a screen capture of the tool palette and try to res them up, but they fall apart quickly.
I did open the package contents and poked around in there and found a few things like the eyedropper as PNG files, but could not locate any of the Photoshop tool icons.
trying to find out what the different icons?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a very large database of images that I ocnverted from PSE 10. All is well, except for this rather glaring annoyance. When the People is clicked to show the people photo stacks, many of the stacks only have a standard icon instead of the others that have a photo.
First, how to get photos instead of icons?
Second - How to change the photo shown?

View 8 Replies View RelatedJust installed AutoCAD 2012, started to set up my tools and found many of the ACAD toolbars displaying the wrong, or no icon for the commands. Example: Modify TB
displays "move" for erase
"mirror" for rotate
"fillet" for explode
This is true with the Draw TB, Dimension TB, UCS TB...and more..I have not even customized any toolbars yet...just turned on/off the AutoCAD ones.
The 'Template' checkbox gets activated in Layer Options dialog box, and the box gets closed, then, the Layer name and several icons at the bottom of the Layer Panel disappear. The Layer is still there without a name, and rolling over the icons on the Layers Panel I can see the Tool Icons.Illustrator Prefs were trashed/restored using the Opt-Shift-Command restart shortcut.

Everything else has normal icons (i.e. Illustrator files) but the Photoshop files are blank. This is true whether I'm on any type of viewer format, i.e. details, thumbnails.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn PSE12 how does one display the icons under the event tab in a categorized tree structure?
In my PSE10 catalog, I have a highly structured event tag tree for 30,000 pictures and videos covering 15 years. This tree has annual main categories and then numerous events in 2nd level subcategories under each year. Below that are tags for which camera/person took the picture as well as other tags for videos, panorama-segments etc. Altogether there are probably several hundred or more subcategories. After importing the catalog into PSE 12 all of these subcategories show up in the top level display causing massive duplication that scrolls for 12 or more screens.
The PSE12 event tab is useless if it can only display every subcategory all at once in a flattened format. I also do not see any way to move these subcategories out of the events tag area and into the keyword tag area to eliminate clutter.
I have experienced this issue on previous versions of elements. I have elements 10 and when I started it yesterday all the familiar icons on the tool bar were missing. I don’t remember doing anything that would turn them off but I cannot find how to restore them. How would I restore the tool bar at the top of my page?

The last few days my file preview icons on my computer are looking strange. Before they used to be a smaller version of the image, now they look blurry with a black frame around them. The jpeg file itself is fine when I open it in preview or back into PSE, I havn't changed any settings and I am always saving it at the highest resolution.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason when I use the cropping tool the floating tool bar has blank icons on it. Sometimes there may be lines in them like they tried to load but most of the time they are just completely white.
They still work and everything but you have to run your mouse over them and wait for the box to pop-up thats says what it is to see which one you need.
I just tried running this program on a computer running on Windows 7 professional OS. When I tried to share the album I created by exporting to CD/DVD, the preview showed only small thumbnail icons without the pictures. I tired to troubleshoot the compatibilty but did not seem to work.
