I just tried running this program on a computer running on Windows 7 professional OS. When I tried to share the album I created by exporting to CD/DVD, the preview showed only small thumbnail icons without the pictures. I tired to troubleshoot the compatibilty but did not seem to work.
View 1 RepliesI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

Prior to my purchase, I chatted with an Adobe techie to make sure Elements 12 would properly overwrite/remove Elements 9 currently on my computer and replace it with the Elements 12. I was assured this would be the case, it wasn't. Not only do I still have Elements 9 on my system but, when my pictures were transferred from Elements 9 to 12, they were all transferred as single thumbnail pictures instead of the Folders containing specific pictures. I don't relish the thought of creating new Folders and transfering close to a thousand pictures pertaining to a specific Folder that were in my Elements 9. Just wondering if the download of Elements 12 was really successful based upon what happened.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from CS5 to CS6 and when I save a file, in any format, I get no image icon thumbnail for the saved file. If I save the same file in CS5, I get the thumbnail image icon, but with severe pixelation of the thumbnail image. It used to be I would have to periodically reboot the finder or fix permissions to resolve the latter issue, but now even that doesn't work. I'm running Mac OS 10.8.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running a subscription to Creative Cloud on a new Windows laptop....just Photoshop to start with. The fonts and icons are so small I can hardly see them...I have to get really close to the screen. I went to Edit >Preferences >Interface and changed the font size from medium to large but that didn't work (or if it did, the change was negligible). My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080 (recommended). I tried lowering it but that only changed the sizes of the fonts on my desktop, not in Photoshop. I run PS cs4 on my old laptop and never have had this problem.

I've tried some dedicated programs like Microangelo but PS has more tools and effects.
We have just finished installing a new Photoshop trial and opened the program but for some reason the menues and icons are so zoomed out that we can't see/read them
We have tried changing it in setting with no luck and we can't seem to chance the view into full screen due to the option seemingly being inactive. The program is for my mother and her vision is to poor to read any of it.
Problems with seeing the jpg icon previews? The cdr icons preview just fine.
I have 3 computers and it's doing the same thing on all 3. I'm using WIN7 64bit, Vista Ultimate 32bit, and CorelDraw X4. I have all of the Windows and CorelDraw updates installed and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled multiple tines.
I am using an MAC OSX is Mountain Lion. I am have problems with the small folders and icons in Photoshop CS6. It their a way to make them larger permanently? They are very hard to see. Same goes for the text in PS CS6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen ever I open up a jpeg image in CS 6 it is opening at 2% to sometimes .5% These files are fairly large 3 to 6 megs, and the image size are standard 10'' x 16" for example.
Is there a setting so I can view them at screen size when I open them so I do not have to make them bigger every time I open a new jpeg?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI shoot in both cr2 (23 MB) and Small-jpeg. Afterwards I upload the pictures to Lightroom and have the appear in the catalog as one picture. Here I make all the editing and when I export the picture back to my harddrive as a jpeg I can only get a file of 3-500 kb. I know I have made some croping - but not that much. It is like Lightroom is working on the jpeg picture and not my cr2 picture.It may be a setting?

As a second question, for the pictures I want to make the background [usually a solid color, white] transparent so I can overlay one object with another.

Every photo imported in this manner has an "audio icon" but there is no audio attachment.
