By mistake, I have permanently deleted an original photofile. How can I locate and backup the relevant thumbnail stored in Elements Organiser 3 so I have at least a poor quality image for the future?

Thumbnail is generating fine for drawing file.
Once drawing file is saved using below statement,
Database.SaveAs(filePath,DwgVersion.Current);
Thumbnail generation method is returning null as given below.

if (bytCnt <= 1) //Means bytCnt value is 1;
return null;
When I download images from my camera, the thumbnail captions sre the dates of image capture. How do I get them to be the filenames that the camera assigned?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have started editing photos using the Photo Fix Options in Instant Fix. I have then switched to Photo Editor to fine tune my edited picture. When I use save or save as, to save the edited picture both the edited and original appear in the files. If I start in in Photo Editor and save there is an option to uncheck that reads "Save in version set with Original" However I am more comfortable with beginning in Instant Fix and then switching to photo editor. For some reason when I go to save after switching from Instant fix to Photo editor the uncheck feature is no longer available. step by step instructions to save revised photo afterusing Instant Fix first then Photo Editor.

Every photo imported in this manner has an "audio icon" but there is no audio attachment. I can remove the icon from each photo thumbnail individually, but I'm looking for a way to remove these empty audio captions en mass.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Elements 11 and was just saving a photo that I had just completed some edits on when the power went out in our area for just a split second. When it came back on and I went into elements orginizer, my photo was there however, it showed an hour glass where the thumbnail picture should be. If I click on the hour glass, my picture appears in full size. I can even open it up in editor and the photo is there. It is just in the orginizer where the thumbnail should be that the hour glass appears. After trying everything I know to correct this issue, I uninstalled elements from my computer and then reinstalled it hoping that this would cure the problem. how I might get the thumbnails to reappear. Also, since reinstalling the software, I have upload new photos and they too have this same problem.

Last night I purchased Elements 12 online. Prior to my purchase, I chatted with an Adobe techie to make sure Elements 12 would properly overwrite/remove Elements 9 currently on my computer and replace it with the Elements 12. I was assured this would be the case, it wasn't. Not only do I still have Elements 9 on my system but, when my pictures were transferred from Elements 9 to 12, they were all transferred as single thumbnail pictures instead of the Folders containing specific pictures. I don't relish the thought of creating new Folders and transfering close to a thousand pictures pertaining to a specific Folder that were in my Elements 9. Just wondering if the download of Elements 12 was really successful based upon what happened.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am not able to save the changes that I make to the starting position of my scenes thumbnails when I use a Thumbnail Menu to create my DVD. I am using Video Studio X4 with Service Packs 1 and 2 installed running on Windows XP Home, SP 2 with all updates installed and DirectX 9.0. The scene changes work fine when I Preview them but they are not saved when I close the Create Disk sub-menu. When I return to the “Menu and Preview” section of the Create Disk sub-menu, the Main Menu scene change is present as is the Chapter 1 scene change but the other chapter scene changes are gone. What can I do to correct this?

Where is the 'Display' button that loads the full file for viewing (not an enlarged thumbnail)? Used to be at top right in version 7.
When I try to run a slide show the program shuts down; pretty serious issue.
Today I can't seem to save my image as a GIF file. I used the Magic Extractor which saved my photo as a PSD but now PSD and PDF are the only options in the Save As window.
