Aug 19, 2013After processing images in Lightroom 5, I exported them as jpgs to another folder, which I intend to upload to a printer. However, the stars i used to rate the images appear in the upper left corner of the jpg. Why did this happen and how can I get rid of the visible stars?

Feb 19, 2013I am trying to import some jpg files into organiser from a windows folders. What turns up in organiser is a thumbnail (there is no image) for each photo. Properties indicate that it is the correct jpg. I can open the file in Elements. There is something about the files that is causing the problem. Moving the file to another folder makes no difference.

Jan 17, 2013I am using PSE 9. I go to organizer, open a photo to edit, go to edit, edit photo, then close photo. Then I go back to organizer and photo. The photo is replaced with what looks like a "cracked" file. Is there a way to finish your edit or finalize it or something?

Feb 25, 2013Organiser tags will only find one tagged category at a time. E.g Typing "gill" in the find bar will return all photos with Gill in. Likewise Laura returns all photos with Laura in, but type both Gill followed by Laura will only return photos of Gill. I did not have this problem on Elements 10.

Oct 26, 2012I have been using many versions of photoshop elements and edited many of my files. So, now I have very many duplicates, near duplicates, and versions of the same photo. I think I have over 20,000 photos and they are taking up too much space. I tried using a duplicate file remover and it removed several thousand, but I still see many duplicates when I run photoshop elements 11. I am tempted to not use the organizer any more and just rely on a folder browser.

May 27, 2011Is there a way to have the thumbnail display on the bottom of the Organizer screen use a vertical scroll bar on the far right instead of the horizontal scroll bar below? Or, can I enlarge the size of the thumbnail display area without enlarging the size of the thumbnails? (Which means, I suppose, being able to specify what size I want the thumbnails displayed.)

The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !

I have over 200K images that have already been tagged, and I need granularity in searching for items. I normally search in a cumulative fashion, where each criterion I add further reduces the number of images that meet all the criteria. Does PSE11 have a "meets ALL criteria" option, or rather, does it only display results that "meet ANY criteria" that I may have specified? In other words, the more criteria I add, the less images I should see that are filtered based on ALL the criteria.

Aug 22, 2013I am using Elements 11 and was just saving a photo that I had just completed some edits on when the power went out in our area for just a split second. When it came back on and I went into elements orginizer, my photo was there however, it showed an hour glass where the thumbnail picture should be. If I click on the hour glass, my picture appears in full size. I can even open it up in editor and the photo is there. It is just in the orginizer where the thumbnail should be that the hour glass appears. After trying everything I know to correct this issue, I uninstalled elements from my computer and then reinstalled it hoping that this would cure the problem. how I might get the thumbnails to reappear. Also, since reinstalling the software, I have upload new photos and they too have this same problem.
