after saving pictures from elements 8 they show up in my documents as a thumbnail but only have the icon view that says pse how do i change this to the actual thumbnail picture

View 17 Replies View RelatedWhen I create a picture with my (Nikon) camera in the TIFF format, it appears that the picture file contains in addition to the full blown picture, a reduced version of the picture, something like a large thumbnail vrsion of the picture. I found it by trying to create a PDF file of the .TIFF file - Acrobat created a two page file, one with the full picture and one with the reduced picture. It looks that I can't tell the camera not to embbed the thumbnail version.
how to eliminate that thumbnail version from the .TIFF file. Must be somewhere (hopfully one) location in the file that when modifying it it eliminates the thumbnail picture from Acrobat's view into the .TIFF file.
As to the question why not simply erase that undesired page from the PDF file - the answer is that I actually going to assemble many (hundreds) such pictures into one PDF file. Acrobat will put all those pictures such that each main picture will be followed by its own thumbnail and therefore I will have to select manually each single thumbnail page before erasing them, extremely tedious. If I could process it at the individual .TIFF file as describrd above, I could easily write a program that does this modification to all my .TIFF files with one invokation.
How can I view the thumbnail picture on a .psd file in CS6. All I get is a blue box with psd/PS on it instead of the picture that's on that file. This is very annoying because if I'm looking for a specific .psd file I have to look on my picture viewing software, find out what the file name is and then pull it up on photoshop. I have CS3 and I have no problem seeing the picture.

I'm importing an avi file (from Poser 9) into AE 5.5. The dimensions are 1200x900. There need to be 48 copies of the avi movie running at the same time behind a mask made of circles on a grid. View 2 Replies View RelatedI've received a dwg file from someone and I want to print it at scale 1:50 on A0 paper. However, I'm struggling creating the right scale.
My problem starts with the fact that measuring lines in the diagram does not produce values that match the actual size. E.g., I have a wall of size 390, but measuring it shows 621.
Is there any way to change the units to match the actual desired size?
Then, I find it tricky to create the right scale for printing (people will get the paper and use a ruler to measure distances, so accurate scale is important). If I cannot change the units, I guess I need a different scale than 1mm=50units. So I tried 1mm=8units, because 7.8mm should measure as 390cm in 1:50 ruler. But this is not very accurate.
When I press File Open in my PSE 11 and look for Camera Raw files, they all show PSE 11 icon which makes it hard to find where is the image I am looking for? How do you make these CR2 ehumbnails to show the actual image?
