View 6 RepliesJust had a logo designed and would like to add it to my existing photos. How do I resize and change the transparency of the logo when applying it to an existing photo. Everything I have tried so far the logo just covers the picture and I can't move it or resize it much less change the transparency. I am an amatuer and really don't want to put out the big bucks for photoshop itself.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble importing a picture into the logo document I am working on. I am designing a logo for a roofing co. and following a logo tutorial on garysimon.net website on 'how to make an awesome logo' using photoshop cs2, but when I follow his steps for importing a picture into the logo document that I am working on, it will import it to a new document screen. From what I can tell by reading his tutorial, it should import it into the same document screen that I already have the company name on so I can create layers and work on the one screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to create a logo. The word I am creating is going to be Foxx. I want the backside of the F to have a fox's head coming out of it. I want the appearance of the Fox's had to be growing from the back side of the F. I am capable of pulling this off. I am more interested in the techniques that some of you would use to acheive this task.
1.What I would do is find a picture of a fox's face in this case a profile shot.
2.I'd then import that pic and extract the head from the fox (only in the picture PETA )
3.I'd then use my combination of the pen tool, shape tool, and direct selection tool to trace the fox's face.
4.Finally I'd design the F to match the fox's face.
I do not have Illustrator.
Is there a way to place a logo on a picture? I thought maybe text box, but that only lets you actually type text.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to solve this problem for the past months. Everytime I needed our company logo, but everytime it failed and I setteled for the low resolution blue logo I allready have.
So far I tried combinations of the following:
changing .tiff into .PSD
grayscale into CMYK
changing hue and saturation
1 goto Layer - New adjustment layer - Curves - change the blend mode to "Screen"
2 goto Layer - New adjustment layer - Curves - change the blend mode to "Multiply"
this all results in a slightly lighter or darker picture, but no color..
Heinthis is the actual image

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use photos for our office website. The hard part is, the company is doing a full rebrand and one of the members is not available to do a new photo shoot so we have to use the wonderful existing ones but need to go over the old logo. I have cropped the photo out as much as I can but have not had enough luck with using the cloning tool on such a large space with a small amount of light change as it comes up looking like the bright blue wall behind us is streaky. How can I do this successfully?
I am using Photoshop Elements 11. I am new to these types of softwares. I used to do this stuff with filters etc in dark rooms developing my own film. I am trying to do some Lynda courses on how to use the software better but am on a time deadline for getting this website completed.

Now, I would like to change the color. It was black, how do I change it to red or blue? I can't flood fill as you would imagine, because not every pixel has the same brightness.
