I have just downloaded Photoshop Elements 11 and all my pictures now just show an elements logo with no picture. How do I change this.previously I could see the images in files and folders.
View 5 RepliesA lot of pictures of my collection do have GPS-data in EXIF-header. Sometimes they are shown on the world-map, sometimes not. In list-view they are never shown. The list-view knows only locations, which are matched with PSE.
The EXIF-input was made by two different tools (Holux GPS Software and Geosetter 3.4.16).
How can I get the list-view for the saved files without using PSE adding location?
all pctures, I have corrected with Gimp 2.8 and exported them in the origin Format (*.JPG) Cannot beshown on my TV by USB.

I am new to photoshop lightroom. I have imported photos to lightroom previously. I want to go back and edit again. I tried going to file, then open catalog, next I select a folder, finally I see all my photos.I try to select photos but I am unable to.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I want to upload pictures into Lightroom 5.2RC the window is black and no picture is shown. This was also true for Lightroom 5. The same pictures are imported into LR 4 without any problems.
My system: 27" IMac newest generation, 16GB Ram. Uploading from a Ricoh GR, Fuji X-Pro 1, Fuji X100 directly or from a Hama cardreader USB 2 or 3.
When i imported some pictures and want to see them in miniature ,i just can see a time glass instead off the photos. how shall i do if i want the photos showed instead ?

Selecting individual file types doesn't work for me much when, apart from .jpgs and .tiffs, I don't know all the file types PSE 10 can open and I want it to open everything it can. I do not want Windows 8 opening my stuff.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAt the bottom of the Organizer screens it always says "972 items dated etc". But then depending on something I do, possibly with tags, it sometimes shows "36 items not shown" for a total of 1008. Note the View does not show any hidden files. One thing I noticed is when I put just one photo in an album and click on the album it will say "1 item found 1007 items not found for a total of 1008.
What concerns me most is that I have 36 photos floating around somewhere that I can't see.
Can you display the order in which images are shown within an album, (like you could in PE10), other than the stupid Oldest and newest that you now get with PE11?

I can use the masks that are hidden (shown with black screen) and apply them with the white brush, but I cant get white or shown masks to be taken off with the black brush. Sometimes, not always I have trouble adjusting the opacity of white masks. I was playing around with actions I downloaded and after applying three actions to a photo, elements froze on me. I read about trashing preferences, I dont know what that does or means but I tried to hit cntrol alt shift when photoshop was opening and nothing happened. When it first opens it shows I can install the new inspiration browser ( i dont know what that is either) thinking it was a required update I tried to update and it gave me an error message, something about the installer has been mis-configured.

The hard part is, the company is doing a full rebrand and one of the members is not available to do a new photo shoot so we have to use the wonderful existing ones but need to go over the old logo. I have cropped the photo out as much as I can but have not had enough luck with using the cloning tool on such a large space with a small amount of light change as it comes up looking like the bright blue wall behind us is streaky. How can I do this successfully?

Everything I have tried so far the logo just covers the picture and I can't move it or resize it much less change the transparency. However, when placed on our web site, the logo edges have a slight line. What must I do to not have the lines (to make the background truly transparent)?

I made a logo using elements. I have tried numerous ways to make it transparent but when I put it on my pictures there is a white square box that appears with it. I want my whole logo to be transparent. I have saved it png, png 24. And still nothing works. How to get this box to disappear. Just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong I took a photo and made the background transparent and took the selection that was not and put it into a different photo and the white square edge was still around it.
