Photoshop :: Importing Picture Into Logo Document
Jan 29, 2009I am having trouble importing a picture into the logo document I am working on. I am designing a logo for a roofing co. and following a logo tutorial on garysimon.net website on 'how to make an awesome logo' using photoshop cs2, but when I follow his steps for importing a picture into the logo document that I am working on, it will import it to a new document screen. From what I can tell by reading his tutorial, it should import it into the same document screen that I already have the company name on so I can create layers and work on the one screen.

Mar 21, 2006I want to create a logo. The word I am creating is going to be Foxx. I want the backside of the F to have a fox's head coming out of it. I want the appearance of the Fox's had to be growing from the back side of the F. I am capable of pulling this off. I am more interested in the techniques that some of you would use to acheive this task.
1.What I would do is find a picture of a fox's face in this case a profile shot.
2.I'd then import that pic and extract the head from the fox (only in the picture PETA )
3.I'd then use my combination of the pen tool, shape tool, and direct selection tool to trace the fox's face.
4.Finally I'd design the F to match the fox's face.
I do not have Illustrator.

Jun 10, 2008when I browse image files I find that the Photoshop/Adobe logo has been replaced by the Netscape logo. When I attach a file in email the N-scape logo is there by file name/number not Photoshop logo. Anyone know why or have this issue?

I'm trying to layer them all on top of each other.
When I copy one partially transparent GIF and paste it on to the second partially transparent GIF the transparent section turns white and is no longer transparent.
Therefore covering up the contents of the prior GIF.
In short, please have a look at the three attached pictures, I would like to have all three on top of each other showing all buttons.

Now I am recording my cropping of the first picture as an action and repeat the same step via this action on the second picture.

Mar 15, 2012I used to use MediaStudio Pro to create picture in picture especially where the picture starts small and grows to cover the entire background video clip.
I looked for and found a video filter which I thought would allow me to do the same. However after viewing the 'help' for the filter and trying just about everything I could think of I cannot achieve what I want to do if start with a video clip and then have another video clip appear (very small) in one area of the background video and then slowly grow larger to eventually cover the background video clip.
I can make the picture in picture appear and grow larger but it covers the entire background video clip with black effectively covering it no matter what size my picture in picture is. I looked for a chroma key to cover the black out but could not find it.

I tested it with a default image in case the image doesn't exist. The test image is cropped to the size of the button.
