Can you permanently set thumbnail opening a picture. Now it is set on Details.
Can PS10 remember the last position of an opened picture so you do not have to start once again at the beginning of the file-list when you want to open the next picture?
is there a setting to have this option always checked?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I create a picture with my (Nikon) camera in the TIFF format, it appears that the picture file contains in addition to the full blown picture, a reduced version of the picture, something like a large thumbnail vrsion of the picture. I found it by trying to create a PDF file of the .TIFF file - Acrobat created a two page file, one with the full picture and one with the reduced picture. It looks that I can't tell the camera not to embbed the thumbnail version.
how to eliminate that thumbnail version from the .TIFF file. Must be somewhere (hopfully one) location in the file that when modifying it it eliminates the thumbnail picture from Acrobat's view into the .TIFF file.
As to the question why not simply erase that undesired page from the PDF file - the answer is that I actually going to assemble many (hundreds) such pictures into one PDF file. Acrobat will put all those pictures such that each main picture will be followed by its own thumbnail and therefore I will have to select manually each single thumbnail page before erasing them, extremely tedious. If I could process it at the individual .TIFF file as describrd above, I could easily write a program that does this modification to all my .TIFF files with one invokation.
How can I view the thumbnail picture on a .psd file in CS6. All I get is a blue box with psd/PS on it instead of the picture that's on that file. This is very annoying because if I'm looking for a specific .psd file I have to look on my picture viewing software, find out what the file name is and then pull it up on photoshop. I have CS3 and I have no problem seeing the picture.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCurrently in AutoCAD 2008, evertime I browse my folders and dbl click a dwg - AutoCAD opens that drawing in a new window. If I click on three drawings, AutoCAD has three different AutoCAD programs running.
If I'm inside AutoCAD and choose File, Open, etc... then the new drawing opens in the same AutoCAD program. I'd like for that behavior to work if I have AutoCAD already open and I browse my server thru explorer and dbl click a dwg on the server.
Is there a setting that will allow that?
I have a number of pictures, using Photoshop CS, taken with a digital camera. When I double click some of them, they open as a completely different image.If i crop the picture i have opened, the new cropped image is saved, and the original picture I opened is lost.When I view the pictures in Windows Explorer, i see the same picture I get when I open the different picture in the Photoshop browser.

I want to set up a default opening page but this time, it's not a clear path to do so. How do I set up an opening page with a new font, rulers, empty fill etc. as the default page without having to search for a template each time I open a new page? All files seem to come in very large and I then have to do a "Window > Fit To Window" to get it right.
Is there a way to import my raw file with the camera picture settings from my camera. I use a personally edited version of the camera vivid from my d300. The files are imported without the settings and get set to adobe standard in my camera calibration. I use lightroom 4 with cs5 64 bit.

And, same if I try a jpg or a tiff file..only there, PSE 11 does not even come up a s an option to open with. In all cases error reads...NOT VALID WIN32 application.

I am using Video Studio X4 with Service Packs 1 and 2 installed running on Windows XP Home, SP 2 with all updates installed and DirectX 9.0. The scene changes work fine when I Preview them but they are not saved when I close the Create Disk sub-menu. When I return to the “Menu and Preview” section of the Create Disk sub-menu, the Main Menu scene change is present as is the Chapter 1 scene change but the other chapter scene changes are gone. We need to have a customized interface come up when Autocad is opened by students.I have read that you can do this with profiles and workspaces and also with loading a acad.lsp file.
In the past we have just copied the Windows admin profile used to customize AutoCad to the default profile. In AutoCad 2013 that does not seem to grab everything. It doesn't seem to be the best way to do what we need.
We will also be moving to Windows 7 soon which will also cause an issue.I want to find the best way to do this with out having to deal with the Windows profile.
way of opening images in CS2 where after opening they will appear in the middle of the CS screen rather then in the top left corner?
I can drag and maximize so they appear in the middle, but on reopening another image they default to the top left again, I would like them to always open in the middle?

I'm trying to layer them all on top of each other.
When I copy one partially transparent GIF and paste it on to the second partially transparent GIF the transparent section turns white and is no longer transparent.
Therefore covering up the contents of the prior GIF.
In short, please have a look at the three attached pictures, I would like to have all three on top of each other showing all buttons.

One of the smallest but most usable features of previous versions of photoshop has been that when I go to File > open and browse to one of my thousands of image folders Photoshop will display a small thumbnail of whichever image I have selected.
This is essential so that I can tell which images I need rather than by file name which is useless.I'm probably just being thick and just need to find where to switch on the thumbnail preview.
I'm having alot of issues with thumbnail previews in Finder ever since I updated to Mavericks. Basically, any TIF-files that include layer masks won't show a preview at all in Finder.
I just get the static TIF-file graphics, but no actual preview. I have enabled to maximise compatability in Photoshop CC, and all the files are either 16 or 18 bit files.
I have a picture that was sent to me when the picture is actually opened the original person blacked out parts of it and they do not show but whenever it is sitting in my folder the whole picture shows up as a thumbnail. Is there anyway to remove the black layers or anything to get the whole picture to show since it is all showing as a thumbnail?

I sized them exactly like the existing thumbnails, but the image content looks smaller. I looked at every setting I could think of and couldn't figure out how to enlarge the content of the thumbnail. I have attached both images so you can see my problem. I am not artistic so I don't know how to minipulate perspective.
