May 15, 2012purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...

Jul 9, 2012After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

Jul 23, 2012Is there a permanent fix for Mini bridge not working in PS CS6? I now continually get the message 'Waiting for Bridge CS6...". I am able run full Bridge, and I still get the same message whether full Bridge is running or not.
I had this problem recently and found a fix involving deleting the Switchboard folder which worked for a while but the error has returned and repeating the fix no longer works.

Nov 7, 2012I have already tried deleting the folder and rebooting the computer, I have tried creating a new user account, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire package and I cannot get Mini Bridge to work at all. It just keeps going to "Mini Bridge waiting for Bridge CS6..." and then never finds anything. I am having this issue on both my Macbook Pro Retina 15 and my MacBook Pro 13 (Early 2011 model). Feb 24, 2012I currently have CS5 extended installed on a desktop (xp 32 bit) and a laptop (Win7 64 bit) all files are up to date. When I start Photoshop create a new file, start mini bridge to select the file I want to copy and paste into my new file. I select the file,it opens in Photoshop I press these key strokes (control-A; control-C), move to the file to be copied to and press control-V. The file may or may not be copied. Even pressing control-V several times. You can press edit; paste and still nothing happens. But press edit; paste special; the file will be copied into the file. If the file is copied on the first try go back and select a different file and repeat the process. To get the file pasted into the document I; created a new layer; control-V; file is copied to a layer. If I create a new layer then turn off this layer press: control-V the file can also be copied to a layer. All of the above is when I start mini bridge to navigate to the files.
Now close Photoshop and Bridge. Restart Photoshop start Big Bridge (not mini bridge)! Create a new file; use Big Bridge to navigate to the file you want to copy into the new document, files opens into Photoshop enter the keyboard short cut or tool bar to select the file, copy the file. Now switch to the file to be pasted into press;control-V or select; file; paste; now everything's works. Try this process with different files to be pasted into the new document and it works flawless every time.

When I try to use Mini Bridge the little gray panel opens up but there is no "browse files" button, I can't open settings, I can't search, I can't do anything with it! Bridge works works just fine. I am including a screen shot of my MB window to show what I am seeing. I have tried everything I could think of including restarting Bridge and PS. Is there something else I need to try other than a complete reinstall of the App, which I will not do just to get MB to work.

Photoshop :: Why CS4 Not Opening With Camera Raw When Reinstalled In New Mac Mini
Oct 9, 2013Just purchased a Mac Mini and installed from disc my CS4. It is not opening any raw files taken with the Canon 50D, but will open raw files taken with Canon 20D.
This Photoshop CS4 was working fine for ALL of these files when it was installed in my old Mac Pro tower (vintage 2006). Why is it working for one group of files and not the other?
VideoStudio :: No Picture Preview Whilst Capturing From Mini DV Camcorder
Jul 22, 2011Using VideoStudio X4. After initial problems with installation it has now installed fine and is working well. However, when capturing video from my Panasonic NV-GS400 mini dv camcorder the film does not show in the preview window. It did at first but now does not preview. I have not changed any settings nor have I changed anything in my method of capture. The film does capture ok - capture in avi format - its just a little unsettling not being able to see it during capture. I watch it on the pull out screen of the camcorder so I can tell when to stop capture etc.
Also, when capturing, the film runs for a few seconds then stops and then starts again and the capture begins from the second start point. I never had the problem with Ulead 9 but did have it with ProX2 but wondered if that was just a glitch because I was running it on Windows 7 and it had not originally been developed for that. Apart from that the program works well even when rendering HD footage from my new Panasonic HDC-TM700.
Photoshop :: CS6 Bridge Not Opening
Jun 10, 2012Before I installed CS6, I removed CS6 Beta and my copy of CS5 using tools provided by Adobe. When I run Bridge, I notice that for each of the Open With apps shown, they are listed twice.
When I choose a JPEG or raw photo it opens with no problem, but when I open a PNG, I have to choose open with since my Mac will open it in PREVIEW. When I choose open with PS, it loads and opens a second Photoshop even though I have it open already.

Jan 30, 2013We are teaching 3 young 8 year olds Dreamweaver CS6 and Photoshop CS6 (recent installations). We are going fine with Dreamweaver but then we needed to learn how to manipulate images. In particular make new logos for the site and create images for uplaoding from the camera.
We are new to photoshop CS6 but wouldn't expect the issues we are getting right now.
We can't open jpegs completely. We get a transparent background or just a part image. Must be something we are doing wrong I guess. It looks fine in Bridge but really isn't loading well in Photoshop.

We have made a members login page which appears to be working but as you can see unfortunately we badly need to create a logo and make some images for their site which isn't created yet. It needs to be ready soon so that I can get a domain for them and host it on my Dad's servers.
