Mar 3, 2013I am running CS5.5 on a MacBookPro. When I try to use Mini Bridge the little gray panel opens up but there is no "browse files" button, I can't open settings, I can't search, I can't do anything with it! Bridge works works just fine. I am including a screen shot of my MB window to show what I am seeing. I have tried everything I could think of including restarting Bridge and PS. Is there something else I need to try other than a complete reinstall of the App, which I will not do just to get MB to work.

May 15, 2012purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...

Jul 9, 2012After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

Jul 23, 2012Is there a permanent fix for Mini bridge not working in PS CS6? I now continually get the message 'Waiting for Bridge CS6...". I am able run full Bridge, and I still get the same message whether full Bridge is running or not.
I had this problem recently and found a fix involving deleting the Switchboard folder which worked for a while but the error has returned and repeating the fix no longer works.

Nov 7, 2012I have already tried deleting the folder and rebooting the computer, I have tried creating a new user account, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire package and I cannot get Mini Bridge to work at all. It just keeps going to "Mini Bridge waiting for Bridge CS6..." and then never finds anything. I am having this issue on both my Macbook Pro Retina 15 and my MacBook Pro 13 (Early 2011 model). I also made sure that both Macbooks are fully updated as well as all CS6 software titles.

Feb 24, 2012I currently have CS5 extended installed on a desktop (xp 32 bit) and a laptop (Win7 64 bit) all files are up to date. When I start Photoshop create a new file, start mini bridge to select the file I want to copy and paste into my new file. I select the file,it opens in Photoshop I press these key strokes (control-A; control-C), move to the file to be copied to and press control-V. The file may or may not be copied. Even pressing control-V several times. You can press edit; paste and still nothing happens. But press edit; paste special; the file will be copied into the file. If the file is copied on the first try go back and select a different file and repeat the process. To get the file pasted into the document I; created a new layer; control-V; file is copied to a layer. If I create a new layer then turn off this layer press: control-V the file can also be copied to a layer. All of the above is when I start mini bridge to navigate to the files.
Now close Photoshop and Bridge. Restart Photoshop start Big Bridge (not mini bridge)! Create a new file; use Big Bridge to navigate to the file you want to copy into the new document, files opens into Photoshop enter the keyboard short cut or tool bar to select the file, copy the file. Now switch to the file to be pasted into press;control-V or select; file; paste; now everything's works. Try this process with different files to be pasted into the new document and it works flawless every time.

Apr 15, 2013I used to mark images yellow in LR if I needed to do further work on them in Photoshop. Once exported as jpegs, I'd open them in Bridge and sort for color labels. In the last year or so, Bridge stopped seeing those labels. It doesn't work in CS4 or CS6.

Dec 30, 2010I have used Lightroom since version 1.0 and at the moment I am using v3.3.
Now I have following problem and I can't find a solution for it: In the Navigator I have synchronized my complete folder where I store all of my photos. This folder contains more than 50000 photos already in many subfolders. But now I found some subfolders not showing all their content. I can see in the Navigator e.g. 216 pictures beside the folder name but in the preview I can see only 3 pictures! And I found some more folders which doesn't show their full content.
I tried to sychronize the single folder again but Lightroom says there were no new pictures and also no missing pictures to remove from the folder. If I open the folder by the Windows Explorer then I can see that all the files for the 216 pictures are there! So there must be a problem with the lightroom database!
But now I don't know what to do to get the pictures displayed in the library again.

Jan 22, 2013The library module in the version 4.3 of Lightroom does not show all the images. They are marked with gray boxes instead of images. This is especially true of the images which I tried to import to Lightroom since I downloaded 4.3 a few weeks ago. If I want to seen an image, I have to go to the develop module to see it.

Aug 18, 2008We recently switched from CS2 to CS3. One of the first things I noticed was the absence of the Favorites (the ones you organize in Bridge) in the Adobe Dialog of all applications (we have the Master Collection). Is this a bug or a deleted feature compared to CS2.
Or maybe is it something you have to manually switch on and off in Bridge or somewhere else, but I cannot find it. I thought it was a nice feature in CS2 and loved working with it. So where did it go to?

Photoshop :: Bridge CS3 Doesn't Auto Load With PS CS3
Sep 7, 2008Before migrating to a new computer, when I clicked to open PS CS3, Bridge would automatically open (as I had programmed in the preferences). Now I am getting an error message that the beta is no longer available. I payed for the upgrade to PS CS3 extended. I can click on the Bridge icon in the system tray and Bridge opens just fine. I have uninstalled all previous versions of PS. I deactivated the old PS on the older computer and re-activated it on the new computer. I can't find out where I need to go to get rid of the error.

Jan 2, 2013I recently upgraded from cs5 to cs6, I have downloaded upgrades for photoshop, bridge, camera raw, and adobe dng converter.
My problem is that the raw dng, and raf raw files from my fuji x-e1 camera are showing up in bridge as icons only, and not as thumbnails. How do I get the files to show as thumbnails. if I double click they will open in camera raw and i can see the pic there.
